I called around 3 pm and Bob picked up the phone. I let him know that I was hearing some screeching noises which sounded like my brakes needed some fixing and I needed an inspection sticker. Also my back right tire kept getting low on air and tire pressure. I was told to drop of my car the next morning. I dropped it off around 9 am. The shop called me back very quickly and informed me that I needed two new back tires, new brakes, a new control arm, and they would then do my inspection. I said please take care of it as soon as you can and I can use my mothers car until it was fixed. Within 4 hours I got a call that everything was taken care of and it was at a great price. I can't express how friendly Bob was and how efficient he got work done on my car. Thank you so much!!! read more

Do not go here! Went to get my car inspected and was told it almost didn't pass due to the tire rod being off on the passenger side. They offered to fix it there, but thank god I took it to my regular mechanic... as he told me there's nothing wrong with my car. It all started years ago when my mother brought her vehicle there for repair and the transfer case was repaired with jb weld. They didn't replace the part they tried to hack it like no one would notice. Then my sister brought a car for a window motor, they over charged her a rediculous price for parts and I told her it didn't seem right so she complained and got a partial refund. Now just recently he quoted my sister a repair off the top of his head would cost 5-$6,000.00. When I asked what was wrong and where the car was leaking he couldn't tell me exactly where and guessed a couple spots. When I asked what was wrong with the turbo he said an issue. I said yeah what issue he said he was unsure and would have to do tests. He charged her diagnosis time and she payed took her car. He then went on telling me and my sister she couldn't sell her car as is after I suggested she do so. Then when leaving he "knew somone that would buy her car as is" after talking down to me for 15 minutes telling me she couldn't do exactly that. I suggested she go to the shop down town and she got her car fixed for under $700.00. According to a friend Simon is known for this whole oh it's really bad much worse than it actually is games. I brought my car to Gasco in Upton, Mass for a complete grease / oil / filter change in May of this year, as my long-time mechanic was having health issues. Gasco reportedly changed all filters and the oil. The cost charged by Gasco was sizable for the work performed but I though they were a modern and professional shop and I wanted a complete and competent staff working on my car. After they serviced my car I found they failed to return critical parts to the car. As a result water from outside could get in and the slow leak damaged my car. The cabin air filter should have had a water cover that was not replaced & suspension bolts (needed to be removed to access the air filter) were stripped that should have only been tightened only with a torque wrench. I know these items were in place and correct before the car went in for their attention and just this past weekend discovered they were missing after the "professional car care" provided by Gasco. Now missing a cover the water leak resulted in slow, progressive damage to my car that was only discovered during this recent weekend's heavy rain. I followed the leak back to its source and found the newly replaced filter without its rain cover, open to the environment soaked through and leaking water and debris into my car. I have had to now replace and repair parts to get it back to where it was BEFORE Gasco's staff got their hands on the car. I called and spoke with the "owner" today. He initially stated he had not replaced that filter. When I asked why then did you charge me for replacing the filter? He started shouting at me on the phone "I do not appreciate these claims" and "You know something? I don't care what you say and about you." Absolutely terrible customer service from this place. If you are ok with the idea of Gasco "professionals" doing the same for you I would definitely recommend you let them work on your car or truck. Just don't be surprised to find some time afterwords that something has been damaged or has been done half way. Gasco had also attempted to tell in May's oil filter replacement that an oil leak showing at the engine was "a sign that the timing belt needed to be replaced before it failed", costing hundreds of dollars to accomplish. I did not go for their repair and took my car to a trusted mechanic and also the local Audi dealer and both reported that there was nothing wrong with the timing belt and that the oil leak had no impact on the belt. They suggested that what Gasco had told me was intended to get a naive customer to open their wallet even further. Gasco staff may be full of smiles before they get your money, but as in many cases, these smiles are hiding a darker truth that they don't give the slightest care about you or your property. And then turn to anger and shouting as soon as they are found out. Yes they are less expensive than a new car dealer's repair shop but in at least two instances Gasco has show itself to be lacking. Never Again Gasco, Upton! Glad my honest and experienced mechanic has reopened as has never deceived me. read more

I have 5 cars in my family and have been taking them to Simon for 15 years. He is one of the nicest, most honest people I have ever done business with. He always fixes your car at the absolute best price. The same work at the dealership would cost twice as much. As far as service, he has gone as far as haing one of his guys drop my car at my house if he knows I can't pick it up. Anyone who is giving Gasco a poor rating is not being truthful. Last week I took my wife's Classic Mercedes 560 SL out of storage and directly to Gasco to have a rear wheel bearing replaced. The guys there changed it out then went over the whole car. They fixed the funny brake noise that I had been hearing for two years. They repacked my front bearings and adjusted my emergency brake. I watched them torque each lug nut insuring that I would not have warped rotors. When the bill came they only charged me for the agreed upon R&R of the rear bearing.....what more can one ask for! My wife will be a very safe car thanks to them. read more

The dealership told me I needed brakes on my BMW for $650. The manager at Gasco said he would do it for around half that price! What a deal! Of course I said YES to replacing my front brakes. Simon did the work and the brakes feel great. I found that even though Simon is a busy man, he takes the time give you his undivided attention and treats you with respect. I went to Gasco on a referral from my neighbor and I'm glad I did. My BMW will be coming back here for all my service needs. read more

Have been taking my Mazda 6 here since I bought it(2015) and have no complaints. They always explain the costs of services and charge reasonable prices. Wish I could give them 0 stars. Went here today because I needed to get a new inspection sticker and while running errands today I just happened to pass this place and said hey why not. I pulled in my car asked if they had time they said yes and to just park on the side, now time was not an issue I didn't wait an outrageous amount of time, but he came back around my car with a big red Rejection sticker. He explained to me that my STOCK exhaust/ muffler system didn't pass, his exact words "maybe a flex pipe or something". I have an intake and a blow off valve on my car and he was telling me the noise ( my intake sucking in air because that is what an intake does) was my muffler/ exhaust. Moving on from that he proceeded to tell me that my 35% tint all around besides windshield and back windshield tested at 33% and was illegal, I proceeded to tell him that that must be wrong. Never the less he told me 35$ and to come back fixed and get a new sticker for free (by law within 7 days). I drove off pissed off as hell because I knew for a fact my car would pass, my car is not by any means illegal. About and hour and a half later when I got home from running the rest of my errands I decided to grab some more cash and head out to the place i got my sticker last year, "Mikes service station" 1429 Grafton Street in Worcester and he was confused because he didn't understand why I got a rejection sticker, He pulled my car in did a full inspection and guess what, I passed!! So I just have one question, what is the point of failing someone for no reason. Waste of my time, money, and overall a very annoying, unnecessary aggravation. I first hand have seen how he treated me & his customers. She brought it to him because it wasn't starting ) ended up being a simple fix at the dealer) he left my mothers windows open in her car for 4 months while it sat. She did not give it to him with the windows down at all! He clearly did this on purpose as he knew the car would be ruined because he wanted to make issues for her & didn't want to deal with the fix. He simply told her" i don't need to fix your car i have plenty of business" who the heck does this guy think he is?? Justice will be served & this garage should be shut down for sketchy play. For some reason he wouldn't give her the car back. He kept feeding her lies as her whole car lay in parts. He cut wires he shouldn't of and even disconnected her Bluetooth and didn't even fix it! He hid wires. End of story I had to get Involved and threaten him with the law! Turns out my moms car is totaled because of him. Black mold got into the car and it's a total loss. He refuses to give her money because he didn't charge her for screwing her? And ruining her car. Please please do not go here!!!!! I had an oil burning problem with my Audi A4 2007. I went so many places to find the exactly problem with my car . Someone told me to go to Gasco & I talked to Simon he is incharge there. I explained about how quickly my car burns oil.he said that he is going to fix it & he changed couple of parts that has to be replaced . I spent about 1000-1500 included labor. I didn't see any difference. I went there again & asked he said that Audi burned so much oil . I believed on him. I kept continuing going there for oil change.since the winter started I got popping noise in air box or somewhere. Simon checked the car he said I need to replace a turbo charge. But he wasn't sure & he said he is going to find the price & give me a call . I waited for 2 weeks I never heard anything from him. But I found the person who works for Audi dealer. he found the problem with valve gasket cover leakage. All the oil found into intercooler. He cleaned it change the valve cover & my car runs like new no more popping noise no more oil burned. Gasco is only good for minor repair may be other cars but not for Audi they only took my money confuses me & giving me wrong information about Audi burning oil .
