I must say, the final product is quite a beauty! Check-in was a little challenging because of misinformation, but that was the only bump in the road. My room was extremely spacious and clean. (Minus a little stain on the shower curtain). The housekeeping staff did a fantastic job preparing the room. (The water gets nice and hot, and there are a couple of settings on the shower head.) I was here for a conference, so I was all over the building! Some of the rooms were a little chilly, so make sure you have a light jacket on hand! The conference center was extremely accessible, as there was a skywalk to get from my room to the main building. I had three meals provided by the hotel (there are other eateries inside), and they were all delicious, and versatile. The hotel has a little snack shop that I purchased an ice cream cone from, it was a nice treat that I didn't know I needed. All in all, the facility was extremely clean, and most of the staff will speak in passing. -- I hope to come back to Margaritaville when it is warmer so I can take advantage of the beautiful lake, and other outdoor activities on the grounds. --Parking is kinda spread out, but there's plenty. Breezy Point has the charm so much of the area has lost. The overall ambience is a mix of 70's, 80's and today, and that's most definitely one of the keys to their success. If you have fond memories of the Lakes past humble and fun persona, they'll be rekindled here for sure. Even so, everything is kept very very clean and comfortable. We had a chance to talk to Teresa, the owner and the Diana from housekeeping. Both of them were very friendly and helpful, and they confirmed what appeared to be the case: the place is neat as a pin under the close observation of Pat, Teresa's husband. The attention to detail is evident. We didn't see any of the bugs or spiderwebs that have always - at least for me - been part of the Lake experience. Every corner of this property is ship-shape and updated as needed, from the Weber grills without a scratch to the very comfortable beds. I'm so glad we found this place and I predict we'll be regulars.
