    City connect hat
    Scot M.

If you're looking for souvenirs while in gaslamp, this little place is a good selection. Personally I was looking for a San Diego Padres hat and found one of their city connect selections.

Every part of this establishment is just phenomenal. I mean seriously, between the AGM Brandon who treats everyone like a brother, the bartenders Leo & Leo who seem to be competing for most handsome guy in SD, and the rest of the staff that deserves and equal shout out but I was two distracted staring at the Leo's to remember their name, this place is truly one of the Gaslamp Quarter's hidden gems. And now let's talk about the $6 dollar burger. I mean seriously, what is this 2008? Where else can you find a great burger for less than the price of parking? Not only is the burger delicious but their menu has OPTIONS. There's no bad pick at this place. If you don't know what you want just point blindly and you'll love it. If you haven't been here come, and if you have, I'm sure I'll see you soon, because we're both coming back. My only complaint is that yelp doesn't allow a 6th star

While visiting the Gaslamp Quarter, we passed a gift shop called Gaslamp Garage. Since I was a tourist I wanted to go in and see what kinds of souvenirs they sold. I thought most of the prices were reasonable so I started shopping. I found a t-shirt on clearance made of soft cotton. I won't buy tshirts unless they are soft and breathable. I also purchased a San Diego shot glass and a Kissing Statue magnet. I spent about $25 on my three items. If you're looking for reasonably priced souvenirs I highly suggest you step in this well organized store. Service was also great!

    Huge wall o' magnets

A really huge souvenir shop with decent gifts. They got a huge wall full of magnets (mostly $5.99) , then the regular kinda of souvenirs... keychains, bracelets, shot glasses ($6.99). They also got license plates of different states in really clean condition for $20. The selection for pins tho was really limited, but overall still a nice shop.

    Lots of souvenirs!

Bottom Line: Perhaps the best place for San Diego souvenirs in the Gaslamp District. Sometimes a kitschy souvenir shop is fun and this place gets my vote for the best souvenir shop in the Gaslamp. It's large, clean and well organized. And they absolutely have all of the non-essentials like t-shirts, ornaments, magnets and key chains. They have stuff for men, women and kiddos. They also have a limited amount of men's and women's beach wear like trunks and cover ups. Some of the beachwear brands they carry include Roxbury for the ladies and Hurley for the dudes. They also have a good selection of the official shoe of San Diego - flip flops!

Neat little gift shop in the Gaslamp District. Close to our hotel and Petco Park! Walking distance to a lot of other shops!

Worst customer service by sheila. Priced one way, and priced another way. Said I was the first customer to ever say that.

we were kicked out within 10 minutes of walking in for "not purchasing anything." She then called security to "remove us" from the store.

God forbid their timer is over how quickly they need to get you in and out that the person at the counter doesn't even have time to grab their stuff and leave before you call the next person in the line. It was bothering me so much that I decided to go downtown to get some new pants. The walk from Gaslamp to this location was not too bad. Some parts felt a little sus but it was broad daylight so it wasn't too bad. I found some longer gym shorts and it was only $8. The attendant was kind enough to let me come back to the dressing room to immediately change into the new pants I got! Security seems tight in the front. It seems like you must get eyeballed by security and you need to show your receipt on the way out. I told them that I'm wearing the pants I just bought and they were totally fine. This Ross was not the best in terms of shopping experience because I felt the store was a bit claustrophobic, but due to my unique experience of needing new pants immediately the staff was very nice about the whole thing!

The fashion Valley Mall tho, is my main mall. This is the mall where I actually do most of my shopping. We watch movies at the AMC theater when we have extra time and get food at the cafeteria/food court area after hours of walking. My son never misses going inside the Laderach to get a free taste, the best chocolate there is. We love going to this mall, especially with my son now being a teenager, we would most likely be doing lots of our shopping activities here especially at his favorite boutiques, like the zumies, Hollister, Rayban, and plenty others I do not recall.... We also love going to The escape room where the mall is. My favorite is the Nordstrom Rack! ;) The holidays tho could get really packed and busy but there's alot of nice things to see and lots of good deals to look forward to.

The mall itself has great stores, but what stood out to me was the number of homeless individuals throughout property. As a shopper, I did not feel comfortable walking around the mall. For a high-end shopping destination, I expected a cleaner, safer, and more welcoming environment.
