Fun stop to walk around in the evening or during festivals and special events. The whole street was shut down to walk freely and explore the restaurants, pubs and entertainment. Something for everyone family friendly or date night there's some fun finds all within walking distance. Just be on the lookout for parking scams with QR codes. Always check the main meter rather than those posted on the walls.

When you come up and through the main gate the historical political of the Gaslamp with the historical locations near by .

Themany years that I have lived here in San Diego the many things that I have seen yet to see Hortpn Plaza get torn down with parking meters going up in price. From the many mayors that balanced the bufget to use somthing that would push workers away from San Diego. The many places that are around the gaslamp are pudhing the parking out see a person park 6 blocks away for a parming area that is less expensive many people cant pay ten dollars an hour to park in the gaslamp. The value prices of the parking it goes from 10.00hr to 60.00 an event of the Ace Parking you pay upwards to the 90.00$. There is obe way to save money the use of masd transith the use of non dis3l cars tgat hit the wallet. The nany selectipns that many people use is use car pooling that is why they have many car pooling lanes around San Duego. Many selec5ipnd you find in the Gaslamp the late clubs to the many restaurants you can get fo by way of the trolley. Gaslamp Quarter has so msny places to chose from the Prince Street Pizza the cookie plug bakery the home of the thick cookie. Market and Fst are sojw of the busiest areas with the Ralphs Store that is one of the largest that services thebmany of the Gaslam0 and thr conventioners that come for gatherings. As a Yelp Elite Reviewer over the many years tge rise of prices can hurt businesses and the workers that come to the Gaslamp. The metal pylons kept thr gasla.p controled and parking fees at normal of 2.50 $ prices of ten dollars is not right.

the centric part of San Diego is here. we came Friday night, which happened to be after a Padres game it was busy with all the fans and people coming out of Petco Park Stadium, and it was live with the ambiance: food trucks, stores, vendors and selection of things to do we ate at Tacos El Gordo, we checked out the shops and just enjoyed the nightlife in San Diego. look around and find some value in this area

I only have two malls i consistently go in San Diego, the Fashion Valley Mall and the UTC Mall…read more However, UTC mall is more of a leisure... to walk around and kill time, for my son to play at the playground, for the festivities on the holiday season especially Xmas, to have family fun dates and good food experiences at nearby restaurants and the mall I always go to every time I have issues with my Apple iPhone and techs. The fashion Valley Mall tho, is my main mall. This is the mall where I actually do most of my shopping. We watch movies at the AMC theater when we have extra time and get food at the cafeteria/food court area after hours of walking. My son never misses going inside the Laderach to get a free taste, the best chocolate there is. We love going to this mall, especially with my son now being a teenager, we would most likely be doing lots of our shopping activities here especially at his favorite boutiques, like the zumies, Hollister, Rayban, and plenty others I do not recall.... We also love going to The escape room where the mall is. My favorite is the Nordstrom Rack! ;) The holidays tho could get really packed and busy but there's alot of nice things to see and lots of good deals to look forward to.

I will never come back to Fashion Valley Mall again…read more I was very disappointed with my experience. The mall itself has great stores, but what stood out to me was the number of homeless individuals throughout property. As a shopper, I did not feel comfortable walking around the mall. My two young kids were very uncomfortable, I have to move them from the food court and sit and eat elsewhere. For a high-end shopping destination, I expected a cleaner, safer, and more welcoming environment. Management needs to do a better job maintaining the property and ensuring guests feel comfortable while shopping. Unfortunately, this experience was enough that I won't be returning.

If you…read morecan ignore that or if you're lucky enough to live within trolley/walking distance (as my brother who I'm visiting is) it's a really phenomenal mall. There's a great range of both high-end (Hermes, Chanel, Tiffany, Carolina Herrera, etc) and affordable (Uniqlo, H&M) shopping along with both expensive and fast-casual dining. I love going to Marugame Udon for lunch and grabbing a quick bite, or Haidilao for hot pot if I want something a little nicer. There's also a VERY popular Din Tai Fung here. In addition, there's a food court with some fast food options, a Shake Shack, etc. It's a beautifully maintained and designed outdoor mall with plenty of space to sit and lots of kiosks where you can get coffee or small treats. Overall it's a phenomenal mall (maybe I'm biased because I haven't had to deal with parking though) and I'll definitely return.

I had a very disappointing experience at this mall because of the customer service at Panini Cafe,…read moreone of the businesses located inside. My pickup order was significantly delayed, but that was not the main issue. Delays happen. The real problem was the way I was treated when I simply asked for an update. One staff member responded by pointing at the monitor and saying, "OK?" in a dismissive and aggressive tone. He did not check on the order, explain anything, apologize, or show basic courtesy. I raised the issue with the manager at Panini Cafe, and she was professional and said she would address it, which I appreciated. However, the staff member himself appeared to avoid the situation and showed no apology, accountability, or remorse. This kind of experience reflects poorly not only on the restaurant but also on the overall customer experience at the mall. When businesses inside a mall treat customers this way, it affects how visitors perceive the entire place. Customers should be able to ask a reasonable question about a delayed order without being treated disrespectfully. I left with a very negative impression and will think twice before returning to this mall for food or pickup orders.

There were so many people visiting Seaport Village today. We approached from the Embarcadero walkway from the north. As we walked up, there is a sign that welcomes you to Seaport Village overhead. It's always very nice to see that. There are new shops and restaurants that are available. I was amazed at how many restaurants Seaport Village Now has. The Mike Hess Brewing is still there. The fish shop is still there and Mr. Moto's pizza is also still there. However, it was great to see that the shorebird had been remodeled and now is open for business over the water on the right hand side of the walkway. The highlight of our visit was walking by and seeing the Zeta restaurant now open on the walkway with views of the waterfront. Please see my review for the Zytoun restaurant. Please keep in mind that right now. Seaport Village is very, very busy with construction. Most of the businesses are still open however, several of them are in a construction area. The businesses over on the east side of Seaport Village before you get to the Sally's restaurant, are affected by the renovations. Spilled the beans coffee and Mike has tasting room are not affected, but foot traffic is affected. The town Square where they normally have music and entertainment is not affected now they have games somewhat like lawn games available in that square area, but the foot traffic is affected by the construction of the Outer building facing the marina. Ther are so many vendors here now. We actually were able to visit an art gallery, walk over the pond bridge, with ducks and pigeons, peruse through so many cute shops, check out all of the food offerings, and just enjoy the beautiful views of the water at the Embarcadero Marina Park while here. This is a wonderful walk, and with the vendors, and other sites, it ends up being an adventure.

And yes...I had to explore all three! Both markets were bright, clean, and incredibly well organized. One of my favorite sections was the tea aisle. As someone who absolutely loves tea, I was in heaven. Their selection is huge, with everything from loose-leaf teas to powdered varieties that you don't typically find in traditional American grocery stores. I'll definitely be back to stock up on a few new favorites. I originally stopped in to purchase a matcha whisk set, but it was a little more than I wanted to spend. That didn't stop me from finding a few treasures, though! I ended up browsing the cookware section and picked up a beautifully designed set of reusable chopsticks along with beginner-friendly M-shaped training chopsticks. One unexpected highlight was getting to try a hand massage machine. It applies pressure to acupuncture points throughout your hand, and wow--it felt amazing! I'm seriously considering going back just to buy one. The produce section also looked fresh and inviting, so I can definitely see myself returning to shop for groceries. Plus, since my sons love anime, I already know they'll enjoy checking out the merchandise store with all the fun Japanese collectibles and character items. Whether you're looking for authentic Japanese groceries, unique kitchenware, specialty teas, or fun gifts, Tokyo Central & Main is absolutely worth visiting.
