This is a review to warn the community about the greedy, shady, and selective practices of this business. It was (and still is) very useful in terms of tire repair by way of patching, plugging, and puncture repair and in that SOLE aspect, I still would recommend their place: assuming that tire can be patched or plugged. The mechanics are decent & hardworking people. I do NOT recommend buying any used tire from their establishment at all. They arbitrarily charge for used tires based on how they appear to them (condition), and how you (or I in this case) appear[ed] to them. The management and this man whom I named the "cholo master manager" who claims to be in-charge, is totally different from the Gasparini I knew 10 years ago. I was here not more than a month ago and had replaced my unfixable tire for a used tire that cost me what I consider expensive ($40), but given it was the only one left and I was in a bind, I did not have time to shop around. It was only later on when the attention was brought to me that the entire middle section of the tread was practically barren. When I got a flat tire on 8/28, I went there (8/29), and given it was the same tire that they replaced that experienced a puncture, I made that known. After the mechanic's evaluation, I was told that it is on his last leg. I grilled the mechanic as to why I would've been sold such a tire, and the irony of now the degrading quality of the same tire they sold me 1 month ago. Teetering in between spending more or going with a patch, I saw an excellent Continental tire among their stash and agreed that for the same price as I was charged as before, to swap the tire I currently have with the Continental. I figured for that tire, $40 would've been OK, and I could probably get some discount given my dilemma. Low and behold, the guy had no power and since no price was written he had to ask the pr!ck "cholo master man", who glanced at it and said $55, which for a used tire in any condition, is absurd. He justified that the tire is almost new. What I am getting at, there is no set standard for a used tire that can be assigned a value - a used tire price should be uniform for any used tire they sell whether it's a substandard tire (which they shouldn't be selling in the first place) or a tire off a new car. They buy these tires for (maybe) $2 and resell it for $50. They did not take into consideration that I was there only 1 month ago, and it is indicative that they do not honor their clients or respect them. He said, and I quote he could charge "whatever he feels like to whatever he sees someone look like". I'm not the only one who found this bitter, miserly curmudgeon repulsive. The mechanic who assisted me talked so much trash about him (he's not the owner, nor manager, but has some upper-level role among the mechanics, and the power has gone to his head, as I was told), I actually was concerned for this mechanic's sake: that he might get the hot seat after I leave for the way he was denigrating the "master cholo" (rightfully so, however). There is no way to determine what constitutes a tire worth $30, $40, or $50. No sticker prices evident anywhere and who's to say someone else won't quote a different rate? Nobody will scale the mounds of tires and write prices, which ideally, they should, whether the basis is justifiable by tread or brand or whatever. The man was pulling the numbers out of his a$$ and I am going to make this known to as many eyes and ears as possible so that this business feels the pinch of their own frugality. They buy those tires for scrap prices and then resell them at ghastly prices, which as a business they can do... if they do it in a way that does not cheat the consumer and make their used tire buying a "luck-of-the-draw", but do not take the consumer for an idiot because he shall sure rebel. I encourage anyone who reads this to take their business to the other numerous places dotting SW 8th Street should they be in the market for used tires or require a replacement. I will end this diatribe re-iterating everything with this simple mnemonic: You need not despair if you use them for repair, but if your tire must be changed, another place should be arranged.

Update ‼ Less than 24 hrs after the great patch job of a thin nail broken down on the palmetto. Chalk mark still on tire

Went in for a simple tire patch Was quoted $25 which is high for the very small size and off brand patch they use when I went to pay they tried to charge $35 Just moved to área would of been nice to have trusted tire shop I won't be returning

Sooo, we were out filling up our tires with air and we saw that our one tire looked really bad. My boyfriend went on Yelp the other day and found Gasparini's. He said he was there the other day to get tires for his mom's car cause he had a blowout while he was driving it and so to avoid a blowout on ours... here we are :) We drove up and they helped us right away...great customer service :) Then my bf talked to the mechanic/tire associate and discussed our needs. The mechanic gave us a great price and quick service. We definitely recommend Gasparini's! .

I've been coming to Gasparini for a good 8 years or so. They're just off US41 aka Calle Ocho and SW 74th Avenue. I've come here for flats, tire dismount, tire mount etc. They're quick and cheap. Even when it seems like they're swamped. Maybe half an hour start to finish and an hour tops for peak times. If you're bringing in some loose tires (meaning they aren't attached to a vehicle) and just need them removed from the rims it'll cost $5/ea. If you need new tires mounted and balanced it'll cost $15/ea and that'll include a stem valve each. I believe they sell tires here too but Ive always purchased mine beforehand elsewhere. This bit is for the Ladies; don't look scared when you pull up to ANY mechanic or any auto shop. Do your research, know the prices and you're unlikely to feel intimidated or get scammed. Get a quote loud and clear FIRST outside. Repeat it back to him when he says it. Make sure the price is clear for the work expected. No need to be rude, just clear. Often times the female cashier inside will try to overcharge whatever the guys outside said and this is how it can be remedied. Don't forget to tip these guys if they finish quickly!

Excellent and fast service. Had a nail on the dead center of my rear, right tire. They patched it up quick like. $15 bucks for the patch and 10m to do the job. Real professional.

I looked on Yelp for a good tire place and Gaspirini came up. I drove up on a Saturday and was in and out in about 45 minutes. The customer service was excellent and the prices are unbelievable.
