I originally gave this place a five-star review when I first bought my vehicle, but now I'm…read morechanging it to one star. Joseph was very nice when I bought the car, but I had no idea what would happen next. Two days after buying it, my check engine light came on. I thought it might be a fluke or something small they missed, so I took it back. They said they couldn't find anything wrong and sent me on my way. About a week later the light came back on. I took it back again, and again they couldn't find anything. The light came on a third time after I picked it up. They still couldn't find anything, so they put a cleaner in the catalytic converter because that was the only thing that popped up, even though there was nothing wrong with it. After it came on a fourth time, I went to my local mechanic and they accepted my warranty. They diagnosed the car and found the real problem: the exhaust manifold. I had noticed the car getting very loud when I started it, which made me suspicious. Even after the warranty claim, I had to pay over $400 to fix the vehicle. I thought things were okay after that, so I let it go. Later I tried to connect my Bluetooth and it wouldn't work. It wasn't a huge issue, but Bluetooth was one of the reasons we bought the vehicle. Nobody could fix it under my warranty, and the exact bill to get it fixed was $1,200. Again, Bluetooth isn't essential, but it's frustrating. Then my first oil change happened and I drove to West Virginia to visit family. On the way home the car started making weird noises. It was late, so I thought I was tired or that other cars were making noise, but the next day the check engine light came on again. I checked the gas cap and the oil -- the oil was fine -- and the car started running rough. It was jolting and felt like it might break down. I heard a clicking noise, didn't drive it, and brought it to my mechanic. They told me the engine needed to be replaced. How does an engine need replacing after I've only owned the vehicle for about three months? If the dealership inspected the car like they should have, the engine shouldn't have failed that quickly. My warranty only covered about $2,000 of the more-than-$5,000 job. Luckily the owner helped pay so I didn't have to pay the whole bill. But my check engine light has come on three or four times since then. I'm a teenager, a full-time student, and I work, so most of my money goes to school. I take care of my vehicle and keep it clean, and there has been over $7,000 put into it in under a year. Most of that was for the engine and was covered by the dealership and warranty, but I've owned the car for less than a year. I knew it was a used vehicle and I didn't know what would happen, but I never expected this. I should only have to do normal maintenance on a car, not replace the engine. The fact that my check engine light has been on so many times in under a year is ridiculous. I will never buy another vehicle from this place and I will never recommend them to anyone. You'd be better off buying a Honda with 300,000 miles than buying a car from them. I hope no one else has to go through what I did. I've driven my aunt's leased car more than my own this year -- how does that make sense? Please read this all the way through and don't fall into a trap of financial trouble like I did.
