That's not just poor service, it's reckless. Pharmacies are supposed to be a safety checkpoint, not a guessing game. It got worse. When I asked her how she'd feel if she were in my position, her response was: "It doesn't matter how I would feel." That level of indifference says everything about the customer experience here. Between the lack of accountability, unwillingness to verify obvious issues, and dismissive attitude toward patients, this experience was beyond frustrating. If this is how they handle something as straightforward as a prescription, it raises serious concerns about their overall service and patient care.

Weeks went by after the second visit again, no pre auth was put through and no referral. It took two weeks talking to four different people with NO result. They never followed up on my pre auth or my referral. They refuse to to take care of my bill since they have done nothing for me which resulted in severe symptoms and pain and suffering. I called many times, and complained to the patient advocate with absolutely NO result. I fired my doc and switched providers, and they had no problem putting my pre auth in for my script and actually followed up on it and because they got me my script I have not needed my dermatologist. Mercy primary care does not care about their patients, and are not able to follow through with their tasks which resulted in my medical conditions getting much worse causing me suffering. I had even contacted Mercy through afterhours and left a message that was never opened or followed up on. There is no way to contact the front desk either, it goes to voicemail and they don't follow up with their messages. This organization is so disorganized and dysfunctional that I would NEVER recommend anyone to these practices under this system unless you want to suffer and pay for it.

It's early afternoon on a Thursday and they had a 3 hour wait in the ER. Well I was absolutely too sick to sit in a waiting room for 3 hours- and that's just to get to step one. So I got back in my car and called Maine Med family practice and found out that they do have urgent care so I could be seen that day at a designated time just by a different doctor- but one with my records on hand. So much better . Seriously unless it's 3am and I'm in an accident I would ALWAYS prefer to just use my urgent care!! So today I had my physical. I received 3 vaccinations and was totally happy to realize the importance of having a regular doctor at a decent hospital. Going over the paperwork they gave me while there I realized that in the last few months they had amassed my entire medical history. I lived seeing shots I received in 1988. I don't have to remember that my Tetanus was due this year. They reminded me. Maybe it cuz I'm from a big city in California but insurance for me there always meant ER visits or clinic visits.
