We discussed a few issues with the garage door spring that Kolter has neglected, and the spring was too small for the large door (but cut costs for the builder). I was unhappy with my current garage door openers, and they were six years old and just didn't seem up to snuff and were very loud. Jacob Moxley the owner ignored my calls and my text. He came one day to finish and stated a panel had a dent in it. When He finally put up the door I noticed the next day that two panels have dents in them and I took pictures sent to Jacob called him and told him he stated he would come and look at them. Well he has'nt yet. I also have a work order stating life life replacements for parts, yet he will not come back to see the dents. I'm to the point of calling channel 9 news so they can hear my story and see the workmanship and see the receipts for what I paid. I have never been so disappointed in this guy. I promised him last year when he replaced the garage door motors that I would hire him to put in my doors. I kept my word and trusted him only to be burnt. I am willing to discuss my experience with anyone else who has been ripped off and willing to go to small claims court if need be, to put a stop to this business. He is just a kid (21) who is acting like a grown-up and claims to run a business. I have run a small business for 15 years, and if I did "business" the way he does, it would fail. On 1/20, I messaged him to ask for a garage door replacement, like the one he did on our other garage door about 6 months ago. The first time around, I didn't pay him until work was completed, and I wish I'd done the same this time. He showed up later that day, took the money, and said he was missing a needed part and would be back tomorrow. That was 9 days ago, and the check was cashed on 1/21. We have messaged him, called, him, and even talked to his "customer service rep" who is his MOTHER, and he just keeps lying about coming to do the work. FIVE times now he has told us he will be here. This guy is untrustworthy and that's all there is to it. I literally have to look at other avenues to get my money back. So protect yourself, don't hire him or his mother.
