We travel all over the US and we have recently had some terrible service and the room being clean. The staff there were friendly and welcoming . I appreciated that. My room was clean and plenty of towels to accommodate two of us. The bed was comfy . The breakfast was kept stocked so we didn't have to ask for anything . Our room was beautiful and the mattress was so comfy it was a temperpedic, I had never slept on one. You can crank the AC down in your room which I loved. The bathroom was spacious and had all the necessary counter space for my cosmetics. The house was decorated with a mix of modern and antique and there was a Butler's Pantry with a mini fridge coffee air fryer electric tea kettle and absolutely all the fixings you could want. The gardens were gorgeous and I lost count of the different places you could sit. Breakfast we had a choice of bacon eggs grits or cinnamon white chocolate chip pancakes with sausage. If you are in a couple or if you are single and need a night away this is the place! I definitely plan to go back. I may go alone for a retreat! The owner is very personable and well organized.
