They provide the option to valet, but since the hotel is on a corner it's hard to get in there when other cars are coming from both directions and the parking garage is confusing as well. They do let you pay for parking when you check in which is cheaper than what the garage charges which was great to note. The hotel has an old feeling when you walk in. A bar on the first floor and restaurant which I enjoyed for breakfast only. In the room, I would have enjoyed to have more accessible outlets for my devices. Many hotels have lamps that have usb plug ins and that would have been helpful. And in the morning, I didn't find out about the water heater breaking until I went to breakfast so I couldn't take a hot shower. They did provide a discount for those reasons which I found helpful.

I'm already having a hard time I don't and aint taking no negatively. My friend came up and fixed the issue then the day was changing her mind about putting me and my kids out doe no reason so I checked out on the 29th. We check back into the motel that night and ask for the same room because it was right by the stairs and we go in the room and I was so sick to my stomach, the soap I put on top on the toilet was still there with black stuff on it and the sheets still had pizza sauce on them !!!!! Staff is a 12 out of 10. Valet super nice and helpful, check in and front desk staff always efficient and a delight to deal with same for housekeepers or any other staff we met along the way. This is the only hotel I have stayed at in the States that I think their bathroom is about comparable to ours at home. There is a separate space for the commode which offers some nice privacy if 2 are sharing the room. Housekeepers were adorable they placed out toiletries on emerald green cloths on the counter I truly believe the prettiest place in Charlotte to see the sun rise is at the indoor pool and spa area. It is gorgeous. Love that the pool area is more spa pool vibes with spa music. Hot tub is turned on by a button panel on the wall. Inside the hot tub there is a place to turn up or down the intensity of the jets. The hot tub has pretty colors in it from the underwater lighting. There is a great array of seating without feeling crowded. Meticulously cleaned. Like any time of day the indoor pool space was clean. I do like what they use instead of chlorine it was more gentle on my hair and skin. TV is a bit below average. Streaming speed is pretty slow. Limited on which streaming services that can be accessed. Additionally, the volume jumps a lot like the tv can be unable to be heard you turn the volume up and it is good. Then a second later it is super loud. Spouse said most modern tvs have an auto feature that manages this. But this is on Marriott and not the hotel as with some research it showed this is a pretty common issue most folks have about the tvs. We are buying a Roku stick to try and use in the future to access other streaming services we pay for at home. The beds are better than other hotels in the Marriott family but spouse and I still find them a bit uncomfortable. I would like to have them a more memory foam material than the spring with pillow top. Wardrobe was awesome it is a nice size. Lights up when the doors are opened and has a pretty floral scape along the back of it. I was able to keep my carry on sized suitcase in there. Spouse was able to hand my dress and his sports coat and pants for event we were going to. Room had plenty of counter space in the room and bathroom. This was great. Oddly there seemed to be drums that started playing outside at like 9am on Saturday that woke us both up. There was a wedding going on that weekend and I know they had some breakfasts not sure if there was maybe a morning ceremony too? Noise didn't last super long but woke us both up. The windows you can hear a fair amount of noise through from the street. Ordered room service I think 3 times. Very excellent experience each and every time. Each item was cooked perfectly and things like grilled chicken breast were still juicy and not overcooked. My K Lounge review will be separate from hotel but same 5/5. We enjoyed our stay. Staff and overall care of the hotel cleanliness wise made it even better.

The food was underwhelming, and it took 40 minutes for a turkey BLT, no napkins, it was an overall poor experience. We wanted to enjoy the hot tub but the jets were broken. You'd think everything would be fully functional in a hotel/spa of this caliber. I don't mind paying an automatic service charge when service is actually provided, but that wasn't the case here. I find that staff is less like to care when the gratuity is automatic, which held true at this spa. The spa itself is beautiful, serene, and well designed. Our technicians, Renata and Kieyan, were professional, warm, and truly the highlight of the entire visit. If I were rating solely based on them, it would be a full five stars. If you're only looking for a great massage, I'd recommend this spa. If you're seeking a full luxury spa experience, go elsewhere.

We travel all over the US and we have recently had some terrible service and the room being clean. The staff there were friendly and welcoming . I appreciated that. My room was clean and plenty of towels to accommodate two of us. The bed was comfy . The breakfast was kept stocked so we didn't have to ask for anything . The lady at the front desk greeted me and first impressions I probably could have been offended but once she and I got to talking she was cool and I even saw her the next morning and she was great! We had four people in our group and got one of the few rooms left which was a king with a sofa bed. We were thinking two would sleep in the King and two on the sleeper sofa. We were a little surprised to see that the sofa bed was really only big enough for one adult or maybe one adult and one small child but we worked it out. My only con was the sheets on the sofa bed were dirty but they quickly switched those out with clean ones. The lady on the evening shift was quite friendly. The rest of the room appeared to be very clean. We had a great breakfast. They had sausage, eggs, waffles, cereal, yogurt, oatmeal, muffins, bagels and more. The lady working the breakfast was also very nice. The facilities in general appeared to be taken care of well. Perfect...nothing is perfect...but you can tell they try to make their guests happy and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.
