Gave her first & then secondary insurances. I was then asked for policy number of insurance. The dr had done a procedure in January and I had called the office before with all my information. I asked her do you not have that information in front of you because I have given it to you before. Yes, I do but I have to asked. IS US Digestive Health so afraid of not getting PAID!!!!! YOUR STAFF IS ABSOLUTELY INCOMPETENT & RUDE!! I was on hold for 20 min. She was not going to move forward & check if I could possibly have an appointment before April 13th. I will be looking for a new gastroenterologist!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FYI - this is the US DIGESTIVE HEALTH IN NEWARK, DELAWARE.

But recently I went to Dr. Long because I have not eaten 3 meals a day since Sept of 2017 and she suggested yet again another procedure. Two times in the span of 6 years she has suggested procedures. I really feel as though this is all she has to offer. This procedure in December of 2017 was very costly and I am very upset that I allowed Dr. Long to perform this procedure and in less than 15 minutes I was done and given my results of nothing yet again. Dr. Long found nothing in both procedures and I really feel as though she is ripping people off with wanting us to get procedures and finding nothing in the process. Razavi and Dr. Spiegel performed my outpatient diagnostic endoscopies at Reading Hospital on 2 separate occasions, and fellow docs Dr. Shogbesan and Dr. Farrell assisted and performed the procedures. I received excellent care here, as they took good care of me. Sarah also has excellent bedside manner and provides good advice. Doesn't rush through visits, and she is very thorough with physical exams and ordering tests. However, checkout is slow as this is a very busy office.

I tried to advocate for myself as the visit went on however he doubled down minimizing the symptoms I was describing and dismissing my concerns. It was to the point that I didn't want to return for a follow up visiting thinking maybe this all was in my head. During our visit he mentioned at least three times that he is a "board certified gastroenterologist." He should be embarrassed by the way he flaunts his education without providing the bare minimum in patient care. I have since seen a different provider in the practice who was wonderful- she listened and gave all my concerns careful consideration and validated how I was feeling. I will never go back to see Dr. Gordon and I will continue to encourage any family member or person I encounter to avoid him.

I guess I will have to try and find another doctor or go back to the ER if I continue to have problems with my gall bladder. Another failure with this practice.

I do believe the nomenclature for this branch of medicine needs to be rectum-afied. Butt, lest I digress. My two visits to RGAL-ONE for pre-op and one for today's "cinematic feature" have been as pleasant as such an experience can be. Consider the crack team of doctors, nurses, anesthesiologists, and even receptionists: (now that's a colon!) informative, professional, patient, but - wholly sympathetic to the entire process. The facility is clean, modern, and I even fell asleep to the anesthesia with J.Giles "Angel in a Centerfold" crooning me to never-never land. I can only throw 4 stars out today due to the nature of the experience, but all revealed and truth be told, it was anal-ogous to any trip to the dentist: fearsome, necessary, yet good to know that business has been taken care of. Punny business aside, gastro health is obviously very important, and my experience with RGAL was of the highest caliber. With upwards of 30 clients examined each day, they obviously know their end of the business, and they do it efficiently, painlessly, and I'd go back to them if necessary, hands down.
