my little sister and i really enjoyed our time at gatcha! before going, we read the reviews and were a little hesitant because someone said the prizes sucked but boy were they wrong. while yes, i noticed that the sanrio characters weren't sanrio branded... i couldn't even tell the difference! they felt sooooo high quality! we came on their first day of their back to school special where they gave you 10% off the credits you spent with a valid student ID. i think this is running till the 14th. i'm not from florida, but the claw machine shops in flushing new york are sooooooooo expensive and extremely rigged compared to here. a gentleman behind the register greeted my sister and i (believe his name was john) thoroughly explained how gatcha worked and answered any questions we had! after testing our luck and skill around, we saw that my very desired kuromi plush was placed on the out of order side of one of the machines and i asked a tall gentleman with blonde hair and a 222 neck tat (didn't catch his name, sad) if he could possibly move it to the working side so i could give it a shot, and he was kind enough to do so! i gave it a shot and.. failed horribly. at this point we ran out of credits so i was guarding the machine with my life because if someone was going to get the kuromi plush.. it was going to be me. so luckily, gatcha has these awesome incentives where if you write a review or share on social media-- you're granted free credits! my little sister posted a review and insta story post and on our second try-- i somehow magically caught the claw on the kuromi's tag and it dragged it straight to the prize shoot! there was a really pretty girl on the floor (we spoke briefly, her name was amy!!) who was constantly walking around and checking up on the customers and making sure there weren't any problems with the machines! the ping pong ufo ball droppers are honestly all luck based and my sister and i both got really lucky (we were waiting for people to play so there was enough balls on the grid so that when we dropped-- our luck would be a little higher hehe) the sumikkogurashi plushies are real (if that matters to you) and soooooo soft! such a fun environment! saw so many little kiddos also win plushies! i heard that if you dont win anything, they never let you leave empty handed so thats lovely :) if you're here for the parks such as disney and universal-- make sure to add gatcha to your list of places to visit! read more

This place was incredible. We entered with the fear of two parents who were dumb enough to take a Pokemon-obsessed 4-year-old into a space illuminated with candy-colored claw machines. We entered with fear of the type of loss that seems inevitable with such games of chance. We entered with the fear of pre-kindergarten rage and wrath that would erupt should mother and father fail to make a robotic claw successfully clutch a plush Pikachu. But in the end ( and for a very reasonable price) the kid walked out with a half-dozen Pokemon plushies and parents who seemed heroic for extracting such treasures from their glowing glass boxes. Having recently returned from a trip to Tokyo, Gatcha was an instant flashback to the fun and charm of one of our favorite cities. But above all, the crew running the place was amazing. James, Mel and Adonis were awesome and super friendly to our son as they helped all of us understand the games. True to the spirit of an authentic Tokyo arcade, hospitality and humor was a key part of the experience. And they even treated us to a free go on more difficult machines that we had never seen before. Thanks to them, we'll definitely be back for our son's birthday party soon. All the prizes were high quality and the art and design of the place is a joy. These ain't dive bar claw machines. The games were very generous and most players in the place seemed to be getting a fair share of wins. We had no idea this existed in Florida until we randomly saw it on a YouTube search about Tokyo. literally the cutest place i've ever been!! my boyfriend and i have been watching claw machine videos and japan vlogs every night for the past month, and then a video about this place came up on my tiktok for you page a couple weeks ago! we literally up and went the very next day, and it was an amazing experience. the pricing is very reasonable and the machines aren't nearly as rigged as other claw machines we were used to! we collectively won nine prizes over the ~hour duration we were there, and none of the machines took too much time to win from. most of the machines cost 6 credits and a few cost 5, and we paid for the $50 deal which gave us 175 credits (we ended up also buying the $20 after we ran out), plus we got free credits for tagging them on my instagram story. all in all, i cannot recommend this place strongly enough!! i'm already planning my next visit and i'm so excited to see what prizes they have available as they change them out almost daily :) i cant wait to see what new additions they make to the place seeing as they're brand new, it's definitely going places!! check it out asap!! my instagram is @kaitlyntibbs ! read more

We drove to Tampa specifically to visit this establishment, and unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. The games were poorly maintained, making it nearly impossible to win anything, and the facility was not fully stocked. What was most upsetting, however, was the way my friend and her autistic son were treated. When she attempted to purchase a wristband for Gatchaland, the cashier, Liv, informed her that for toddlers and autistic children, a parent must be with them at all times and must also purchase additional socks for entry. Upon overhearing this, I questioned the cashier about the origin of this policy and requested proof, as it seemed to be an arbitrary rule. It quickly became evident that they were making up their own regulations, leading to a call for the manager just to process a $3 refund for the extra socks. This experience was both disturbing and unacceptable. The discriminatory treatment we witnessed was appalling, and I urge the management--particularly Hannah--to reevaluate their policies and staff training. read more

I would give this Company zero stars if I was allowed... We loved going here. Until they fired three of the best employees. We will no longer be giving this location our time or money. (Hundreds of dollars spent) Also the manager there (who is like 50) made me cry and feel really bad about myself. She was condescending and rude... while all I did was ask a question. She then proceeded to follow us around the arcade like a stalker. The employees this company fired were the ones who made me feel better. Keeping terrible employees and letting go of wonderful ones. Don't go here. All they clearly care about is money and not your experience. Also, it's a little suspicious when a company bribes you to give them a five star review in exchange for enough tokens to play one claw machine game... This amazing little utopia has figured out how to tap into the little dopamine factory in everyone's brains and create the ultimate experience of pure joy and delight for kids and adults. My kids and I loved EVERY SECOND! It was such a creative and fun place. The machines were all 100% fair -- when we didn't win, it was entirely because we messed up, but we got better and better, which made it so fun. By the time we left we had won about 30-40 plushies of varying sizes. Some very small and some around 12" big. We had to buy a new suitcase to pack them all. This place is perfect for an escape from the theme parks or a birthday party or just to experience something you may never experience in your hometown. We can only hope it expands to our city one day because we are HOOKED! One of the best days of our vacation and this is after doing Disney World. read more

Probably the ONLY time money is well spent at an arcade/clawcade since I went home with SO MANY high-quality plushies! They have an amazing variety of plushies and anime figurines to be played for and great giveaways through their Instagram. The place is very clean and has a fantastic open floor plan so you have a variety of claw games to choose from without having to wait long for another. The rechargeable card is very easy to use and the Team is super kind and helpful at all times. The business does a phenomenal job with marketing via social media for the different plushie drops they have along with giveaways and special deals! Fell in love with this place before it was even real. I watched the journey through TikTok and was so excited it was going to be in Orlando. Though I couldn't attend the soft launch (sadly), I was able to go afterwards and I won 4 prizes my first trip. I only spent $40. Their prices are really fair for the plushies they have and they always have a wide variety available. The staff is very nice and they have the cutest picture corner. I went to Gatcha USA for the first time last week, and I had a lot of fun! The employees are very helpful, and the crane machines are fairly easy to learn. They have a great selection of plushes as well. I also love the design of cards they load your points on. The photo-taking area is decorated well, too! The only thing I'd say I wish I knew was exactly what plushes they had in stock. When I went, I was hoping to find Sanrio plushes, but the only ones they had in stock at that time were the smaller keychain-sized ones. Cute arcade with a fun atmosphere! These claw machines are not rigged like the ones at the supermarket or wherever, and it's very possible to win with a little patience, strategy, or good timing. Fun for all ages; very kid-friendly for a family day trip to the mall, but could also be a date spot for teens/adults who like cute and nerdy things. Staff are friendly and prices are reasonable. ETA: Yes some prizes in the machines are bootlegs. Not a huge deal though imo if you're just looking for something to do on a casual day out and/or have young kids who won't notice/care. Who doesn't love claw machines filled with cute plushies??!! I think the concept is super cute and eye catching for both adults and children. I purchased the $35 credit thinking it would be enough but sadly it was not and I was not willing to spend more money on losing lol. I think it is a bit pricey and their snack one across from them was much better. The only downfall from that is you can't use the credits you bought from the plushie one at the snack one. The snack ones use tokens. This is for sure a one time thing for me hence the 4 star review but worth checking out. read more

I found this place on complete accident but as a claw machine aficionado I had to go in! The prices are very reasonable, but this place is addictive! Exercise with caution. A lot of claw machines and arcades are rigged - this is not one of them. It's quite easy to win a prize and sometimes (conditionally) they won't let you leave without one! All around great experience. Clean, hand sanitizer available, kind and friendly staff, and a great fun! It's complicated. Fun place, exciting, mostly white and bright. Friendly, helpful staff. But really, everything hinges on the crane games. Some do well, while others get robbed. That said, if you spend about $25 and get nothing, the staff will give you a plushie as a consolation prize. Addendum: they gave us extra tokens to try across the way at the Snack Gatcha. We got zero wins to the point of frustration. We grabbed food and then at the final step the crane jiggles for no reason and flings the snacks. We left grumpy. read more
