I used to love bringing my little one here as she loved Jump start but today we found out while walking up that it is permanently closed. Dezerland does have bowling , arcade games , indoor go karts and axe throwing places as well and is fun for all ages ! If you are a car fanatic , you can pay to Browse the large antique collection of Cars which is also really cool. Prices are starting to climb here so for me, I'd prefer main event or Dave and busters for the money spent here.

My nephew and I recently went to a FoodeesFest in the back parking lot here at Dezerland. Not a bad experience, but the bloom is off the rose. There's enough to do here, go-kart racing, arcade, James Bond Museum, Cinemark theatre, and even axe-throwing. I was surprised, though, this park is only 6 years old because it all just seemed a bit more "dated." A whole section appeared to be closed off - near the military vehicle display. There were some food options, but nothing I would rush to get in line for. The classic car collection looked pretty cool, but I parted with $54 for a few laps of go-karting (for 2). If you're in the area and are looking for something to do, it's not a bad time. But I look forward to seeing what, if anything, they get the chance to do in terms of upgrades.

I can't believe I waited so long to visit this place and I have to admit... it's kinda cool. I popped in one day while trying to figure out an indoor activity I could do with my 1 year old son and figured I'd give Dezerland a shot. Upon arriving, I appreciated there being easy and convenient parking. I entered through the entrance that leads to the auto museum and my son was so fascinated with all of the vehicles! I didn't go through the actual experience but just looked at them from afar. It's more money than I'd care to spend but cool to see such a variety of vehicles, especially through the lens of a 1 year old where all of it must feel exciting because of the novelty. We strolled throughout the arcade where there were tons of nostalgic games like skee ball, pop-a-shot, as well as the classic arcade games. When my son is older, I think this would be a great place to hang out and play games with him to get out of the house. After exploring the arcade, we watched people do the bumper cars and also swung by the go-kart tracks. Again, when my boy is older, this place seems like it would be a fun day out with him. I was so surprised at all of the entertainment they packed into this place. On the rest of our stroll, I saw a bowling alley, indoor golf, a rage room, an indoor trampoline place, and a few retail and restaurant options, not to mention, the longstanding Cinemark movie theater there that is still kicking! We stopped for a short break to have some lunch and the food options are limited... It's your typical food court options but a lot of the places were closed for the day for some odd reason. I got a hot dog and fries from Jump Start Cafe and it was just okay... Decent fuel to continue exploring the place but nothing really special. Overall, the place can be considered touristy but I felt like there were a bunch of locals there. I saw a lot of families having fun and I hope that it can continue being successful. It definitely fills an entertainment need and offers a ton of variety for people looking to have fun. Worth stopping into if you're in the area, even if you don't actually do any of the activities IMO.

My husband and I went to Deezerland to try the new escape room vr. It was a rotten experience. They don't have time slots whichewms you have to wait there for others to finish. They won't even let you pay and come back and be next. We waited 40 minutes. They don't have very good vr equipment. The sound was bad and the vision was often blurry. The worst part was the customer service. My headset died at 20 minutes of a 45 minute experience. My husband's died at 30 minutes. They would not let us, replay or start where we left off nor would they give us a refund. This feels an awful lot like theft. They as ertised a service, sold it and didn't deliver the service.

I love Dezerland! It's where festival bay mall used to be and it's a huge space. The auto museum is the highlight of it and it is huge. If you really take your time walking through it and looking at all the cars, you could definitely be in there for a few hours. They have so many different kinds and even have a wing of cars used in movies/tv shows and a James Bond wing. Besides the auto museum, there is also go karts, a huge arcade, axe throwing, and more. There are a few restaurants and bars so you could definitely spend a good chunk of a day here!

Manager JJ gave an awesome tour. Had stories to tell and make things person. He even went out of his way to help and let us go back to Ecto 1 so my obsessed can take a photo inside of it after the tour because she was nervous in front of the other people on the tour. Hard to believe it's basically one man's vehicle collection. Indoor go cart racing was fun I tool wayyy too many pictures to add to the review

The indoor animation was all good too. I was impressed how organized the rides are and how tight security (a few check points) for the lightning lane was. They also just scanned your face/matched with photo and it was only a second! Remember not to bring big backpacks if you are planning to ride the rides. Or it's $3/locker per time. The free pre-ride lockers are teeny: just fit a waist bag, crossbody bag or a flattened folded in half backpack. Drink bottles with refill was also only $19.99, so do not worry about bringing a lot of water or drinks in. You can even fill water in the soft drinks machines. Cannot wait to visit Epic or Studios the next time I will be in Florida. Parking structure was organized and uber/lyft driver pickups are at Jurassic Park Level 5. There are other names/structures too. So remember what color you park at. Our Lyft driver got lost 3 times and was 25 mins late: so make sure you either use Uber or contact your driver to ensure he/she knows where to enter the correct parking structure.

We just stopped by for our fifth visit, a testament to how much we enjoy the park. So anyway, we drive up from South Florida, get a hotel, make our way over to the park, and or course we are looking to go on some rides. But to our surprise and frustration, so many were closed for renovation or offline due to mechanical issues. For example: The Jurassic Park River Ride and the Pteranodon Flyers were both out of service due to long term renovation. Even the Mystic Fountain was closed! Dudley Do-Right's Ripsaw Falls, Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure, Kong Island and Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey were supposed to be working, but all were offline for a number of hours throughout the day. Maybe we just caught them on an off day or something but it really made the trip a little bit annoying, waiting on line and then being told that the ride is now out of service for an unknown amount of time. And instead of having run, we have to constantly check back on the app for ride status updates. Lame. On a good day five stars for sure, but this time around it was a 3 star experience for me.

I had heard from locals that it's a great local option over the big theme parks. Fun Spot was pretty great, for what it was. Free parking, free admission if you don't plan on riding rides, also a discounted adult pass if you only are going on rides with your kid who is too young to ride alone. The whole place was small, maybe the area of a handful of city blocks. And on the Sunday afternoon when we went, the place was quiet enough that we never waited more than a few minutes to get onto a ride. As we were only there for a couple hours, the cashier recommended the 4 ride pass for my kids, and the companion pass for me. But if one were to spend more hours there, buying the day pass online for $59.95 is quite a bargain. Not all rides were open, but the "big" rides that most kids want (the roller coasters and the go carts) were open. My daughter, who is not a big roller coaster fan, had a harder time finding kiddie rides that she actually wanted to go on, and she watched the go carts and didn't even want to try those with me driving. However, the place was small enough that I felt fine leaving my 10 year old son to go on rides by himself while I went on the Ferris wheel or the merry go round with my 8 year old. There are a bunch of food options available throughout the park. They were definitely more affordable than Disney prices! Most of the places offered souvenir cups with discounted refills, but there were also water stations set up throughout with free cups. I'd definitely come back if I had a few hours to burn and the kids didn't want to go swimming. Hopefully at some point, my daughter will change her mind about roller coasters, though!

I walked through the warp pipe entrance and into the land, and that was a genuine moment. The colors, sounds, and scale of everything around me hit immediately in a way that was hard to prepare for even though I knew what to expect. The attention to detail was remarkable, and the music threading through the entire area kept the immersion intact as I moved from one section to the next. Donkey Kong Mine Cart Madness is the ride to prioritize and the one that generates the most excitement in the land. I arrived at park open and went straight here, which was the right strategy as the wait times built quickly. Mario Kart is the other major attraction and delivers on the concept, with the Power Up Band integration adding a competitive layer that makes it more than just a passive ride experience. The Power Up Band is worth purchasing before entering the park if I want the full experience. It unlocks interactive elements and mini games scattered throughout the land that let me collect coins, hit question blocks, and track my score on the app. Without it I could still enjoy the rides and the theming, but a meaningful portion of what makes the land special is tied to having one. At around fifty dollars it is an added cost on top of an already expensive day, but for a Nintendo fan it justifies itself quickly. Weekday visits made a noticeable difference in wait times and gave me more room to engage with the interactive elements without feeling rushed. The land rewards people who slow down and explore rather than just moving through it as efficiently as possible, and there is enough packed into the space that I could spend a solid chunk of the day here without feeling like I had exhausted it.

So Andrettis is an indoor karting, laser tag, and game room located right next to the Convention Center on International Drive. This place definitely was easily accessible from the main road and had plenty of parking in their private parking lot. So on the day of our event, upon arrival, we were greeted immediately and checked in quickly and efficiently. The staff were all very kind and helpful! The party room was located in the back of the building and was a pretty spacious room, with its own private bathroom. For our birthday package we opted for the laser tag, and arcade option for the kids and it kept them occupied for a few hours. Now for the food, I was very impressed by the quality and presentation of all the items we selected! Yes the food was just your average fried bar food... but I thought everything was super fresh and all came out very quick. The pizza, wings, and cheese curds were outstanding! Lastly, our party attendant was top notch! She was very attentive, had great communication, and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, I will say that even though the birthday package at Andretti's is a bit on the pricier side... we thought it was definitely worth it... my nephew had a very memorable birthday!

However, I feel compelled to write a negative one in this case. On 3/6, I purchased two Gold Packages for myself and my 13 year old daughter. Each package includes two races. The representative who helped us explained that if we only completed one race that day, the remaining race would be stored as a credit on our membership cards. We therefore used only one race on 3/6. When we returned the next day, the representative at the counter, Desi, told us the next race would start in about six minutes. However, when I presented our membership cards, she said she could not see the remaining race credit. She then began asking questions such as whether we had purchased only one Gold Package and shared it, and whether we had receipts. It was clear she suspected we were trying to misuse the system. She continued questioning us for several minutes until I finally asked her to call the manager. While the manager was looking up the information, I logged into my credit card account to show proof of purchase. When I approached the counter with that information, the manager said rather casually, "Oh, we already found it." Unfortunately, by that time we had missed the race we could have joined and had already spent about 20 minutes standing at the counter. No one initially apologized for the inconvenience. When I told the manager that Desi should apologize, the manager responded, "It was not our fault. It was a system error. Sorry." Desi then said, "You did not even give me a chance," and tossed the race tickets onto the counter before trying to walk away. When I said that if I had not asked for the manager she likely would have continued questioning us suspiciously, she responded in a hostile tone, "If you want to take a picture of my badge, you can." The entire interaction was unnecessarily confrontational and disappointing. System errors can happen, but how staff handle them matters. A simple apology and professional attitude would have made a big difference.
