My husband is the car buff in our family. When we were visiting Orlando, we were looking for something to do in the daytime while waiting for our grandchildren to finish summer camp for the day. Dezerland kept us busy for a few hours and inside during a very hot day. Besides the Auto Museum, Dezerland also features an arcade, escape room, bowling alley, bumper cars, lazer tag maze, ax throwing, and pool tables. Being of a certain age, we chose to visit just the Auto Museum. There are a variety of attraction packages available if you want to use one or several of the attractions. Everyone entering must fill out a waiver, even if you're visiting just the Auto Museum. The waivers are available online as well as advance ticket purchases. There is also a food court and several shops within the Dezerland complex. I'm not into cars myself but the Auto Museum was impressive. My husband especially loved seeing the vintage cars from the 1940s through the 1970s, although some of the cars shown preceded the 1940s. The displays include vehicles used in movies and popular culture. My favorites were the Mystery Machine and Herbie the Love Bug as I saw the movie Love Bug as a child. Besides cars, the museum also features vintage motorcycles, scooters, bicycles, fire trucks, police vehicles, post office delivery vehicles, subway cars, and buses. The backdrops, movies posters, pictures, and cardboard cut outs of the movie 'stars' and historical figures greatly enhance the experience. I can't imagine the time and energy it must have taken to amass this collection of vintage vehicles. We spent about two hours browsing the huge collection of cars but easily could have spent another hour or two here admiring the old time motor vehicles. read more

If you LOVE cars, Dezerland's Orlando Auto Museum is definitely worth checking out! The person at the entry to the paid part was super patient and friendly. There are a lot of cars that you can see for free and then a paid portion (discount if FL resident) that has massive amounts of cars. The sheer variety of cars is incredible--from gorgeous classics and rare automobiles to exotic cars, military vehicles, Hollywood movie & TV cars, celebrity cars, and themed collections. Shoutout to the businesses still celebrating kids doing good in school We stopped by due to recieving an Orange County Public Schools student voucher and honestly had such a good time! My AB students were SO excited to use their reward and felt super proud of themselves the entire visit. Sadly the jump area had already closed down, BUT the staff handled everything so kindly and made sure my other child still got to enjoy. One child did go-kart round and my other child got 2 hours of arcade time. That alone turned what was disappointment into a really fun family outing. The employees were patient, friendly, and genuinely nice the whole time -- which matters so much when you're out with kids. There's honestly a ton to do, the atmosphere was fun, and my kiddos are already asking when we're going back Definitely will be back again! read more

I really enjoyed the Dezerland Museum. There is a collection of over 55 classic cars between the 1920s and early 2,000. Many cars were featured in movies. It is very spacious and it took over an hour to walk around. There's an extension to the museum by the restaurant right across. Dezerland park offers other fun entertainment such as a virtual escape room , ax throwing, go carts and arcade. There are a few places to also eat. Dezerland Park in Orlando is a really fun spot to spend a few hours, especially since it's free just to walk around and check everything out. There's a great variety of activities like bowling, arcade games, go karts, and even an impressive auto museum that's worth seeing. It's easy to find something for everyone, whether you're going with friends or family. The only downside is the food situation. While there are a few options, it would be nice to see more variety or even some food trucks to give visitors more choices. I used to love bringing my little one here as she loved Jump start but today we found out while walking up that it is permanently closed. Dezerland does have bowling , arcade games , indoor go karts and axe throwing places as well and is fun for all ages ! If you are a car fanatic , you can pay to Browse the large antique collection of Cars which is also really cool. I can't believe I waited so long to visit this place and I have to admit... it's kinda cool. I popped in one day while trying to figure out an indoor activity I could do with my 1 year old son and figured I'd give Dezerland a shot. Upon arriving, I appreciated there being easy and convenient parking. I entered through the entrance that leads to the auto museum and my son was so fascinated with all of the vehicles! I didn't go through the actual experience but just looked at them from afar. It's more money than I'd care to spend but cool to see such a variety of vehicles, especially through the lens of a 1 year old where all of it must feel exciting because of the novelty. We strolled throughout the arcade where there were tons of nostalgic games like skee ball, pop-a-shot, as well as the classic arcade games. When my son is older, I think this would be a great place to hang out and play games with him to get out of the house. After exploring the arcade, we watched people do the bumper cars and also swung by the go-kart tracks. Again, when my boy is older, this place seems like it would be a fun day out with him. I was so surprised at all of the entertainment they packed into this place. On the rest of our stroll, I saw a bowling alley, indoor golf, a rage room, an indoor trampoline place, and a few retail and restaurant options, not to mention, the longstanding Cinemark movie theater there that is still kicking! We stopped for a short break to have some lunch and the food options are limited... It's your typical food court options but a lot of the places were closed for the day for some odd reason. I got a hot dog and fries from Jump Start Cafe and it was just okay... Decent fuel to continue exploring the place but nothing really special. Overall, the place can be considered touristy but I felt like there were a bunch of locals there. I saw a lot of families having fun and I hope that it can continue being successful. It definitely fills an entertainment need and offers a ton of variety for people looking to have fun. Worth stopping into if you're in the area, even if you don't actually do any of the activities IMO. read more

My nephew and I recently went to a FoodeesFest in the back parking lot here at Dezerland. Not a bad experience, but the bloom is off the rose. There's enough to do here, go-kart racing, arcade, James Bond Museum, Cinemark theatre, and even axe-throwing. I was surprised, though, this park is only 6 years old because it all just seemed a bit more "dated." A whole section appeared to be closed off - near the military vehicle display. There were some food options, but nothing I would rush to get in line for. The classic car collection looked pretty cool, but I parted with $54 for a few laps of go-karting (for 2). If you're in the area and are looking for something to do, it's not a bad time. But I look forward to seeing what, if anything, they get the chance to do in terms of upgrades. read more

My husband and I went to Deezerland to try the new escape room vr. It was a rotten experience. They don't have time slots whichewms you have to wait there for others to finish. They won't even let you pay and come back and be next. We waited 40 minutes. They don't have very good vr equipment. The sound was bad and the vision was often blurry. The worst part was the customer service. My headset died at 20 minutes of a 45 minute experience. My husband's died at 30 minutes. They would not let us, replay or start where we left off nor would they give us a refund. This feels an awful lot like theft. They as ertised a service, sold it and didn't deliver the service. read more

Ugh, what a build up and disappointing result. I say, save your money and don't bother with the 'museum'. First off, there are numerous lights out and the air conditioning didn't work in many areas, we were sweating inside! Second, the build up is the amount of cars and interesting collection, however there are maybe 50 cars in the collection that are interesting and not beat up and damaged. The 'longest car in the world' is a horrible display of an old, poorly constructed and sad collection of car parts. There were a couple Vespas that were nice, but there were others that had fallen over and nobody seems to care. The old museum in North Miami was a FAR BETTER example and display. read more

The Rundown: An incredibly impressive spread of vehicles for anyone from the casual interest to the dedicated hobbyist, with a variety of other entertainment. The Review: I finally visited Dezerland, being a casual interest in cars it intrigued but didn't call out to me right away. I had the opportunity to go with with a car enthusiast visiting and found some discounts online. They offer two options: general entry and VIP which gives you a guide with assorted facts and to sit in/photo OP with various vehicles. The museum isn't the only thing, with a surprisingly large number of vehicles visible to general public browsing inside. There are some food kiosks and a very large bar with a restaurant which is part of a 007 museum. Electric go karts, arcades, and event halls. With a weird souvenir store that was both relevant and irrelevant. For the main reason to visit, the museum, if the difference is $5 or so definitely do the guided tour to learn some added facts. Fair warning - there's a lot of "dead" spots. But you also might get opportunity to see a closed off room! The tour itself felt a little disorganized but I believe it was due to the size of the museum. I can imagine it's a challenge. The guide has one of those little belt microphones which at times was a bit distracting with static. I'm not sure if the vehicles change out but there's the opportunity to sit in several movie related vehicles (Scooby Doo, Ghost Busters, Back to the Future, James Bond, Batman). Depending on the group size it is a LOT of waiting as each person sits. There's definitely opportunity to help keep group engaged. Half of our group ended up leaving bored. The tour ended in the 007 Museum - which was a nice bonus. There's a VERY impressive amount of memorabilia and vehicles of all sorts inside. I think it technically would cost you extra if didn't do the tour, but not certain. After the tour, you're free to explore. You can also leave the museum area and return anytime to the main car museum throughout the day with your wristband. We walked around to see the rest of the complex. It does have a slight feel of being thrown together, but they do try to create distinct areas. The food options were very disappointing. It might explain why nobody was in the official 007 restaurant, and why the food stalls were empty. Only one seemed to be open at the moment and it had issues with soda machine being down forcing everyone to purchase bottled beverages. They do try to offer variety but the mall style food setup was not the most appetizing. Back in the museum we were able to take our time instead of rushing to different rooms, weaving our way through so many vehicles. There's a theme or decade for anyone to impress! Overall, it's a good visit especially when you can get a discount. The collection is there and you can tell they do put a good amount of effort attempts in. But there's a few places the experience could shine and hopefully as it continues to operate they have the opportunity to enhance further. read more

I love Dezerland! It's where festival bay mall used to be and it's a huge space. The auto museum is the highlight of it and it is huge. If you really take your time walking through it and looking at all the cars, you could definitely be in there for a few hours. They have so many different kinds and even have a wing of cars used in movies/tv shows and a James Bond wing. Besides the auto museum, there is also go karts, a huge arcade, axe throwing, and more. Dezerland has potential, but overall, it feels like an overpriced tourist trap. The auto museum is cool if you're into cars, but the curation could be better--and the layout feels a bit random. The arcade and other attractions look fun but overpriced for what you get. We kept asking for prices and were shocked at how much they were charging. The food didn't really catch my attention--nothing special, and definitely not worth the price. We decided to eat somewhere else . The whole place has kind of an empty, underutilized feel. The only real reason I'd come back is for the movie theater. We only came here to watch a specific movie at the theater but we walked around a bit and it's really not the most welcoming place. It's mostly deserted but even the stores that are open aren't exactly enticing. Other than the movie theater they have a mini golf course, a small indoor kart track, a trampoline place, and some food stalls. There's also an auto "museum" that basically takes up half the mall. I guess it's decent if you have kids but honestly there are better places. The workers don't look like they enjoy being here and the vibe is just not comfortable. He even went out of his way to help and let us go back to Ecto 1 so my obsessed can take a photo inside of it after the tour because she was nervous in front of the other people on the tour. We went for the car museum. The collection is massive -- we spent 90 minutes walking around and didn't see everything -- but I wish it had better signage and some effort at curating the experience. There are a lot of repeats in the collection -- there was a room filled with 30 of the exact same car in different colors -- and whole thing feels rather random. Only about half the cars have any identifying information and half of those have put the sign on the windshield, too far away to be able to read. There are a lot of vehicles from movies and TV shows, including all the Batmobiles, if that appeals. But $31 was a bit steep for the experience. The rest of the place has various activities -- go-karts, bowling -- and a few food court-type restaurants and a few random stores. read more

Given it 2 stars for multiple reasons. As a whole the place isn't that bad, it's a very large open space with a good amount of different activities to do. One of the reasons for the 2 stars is it's very expensive for what you get. In the arcade one gameplay is about $2.50 each, that adds up very quickly. They do have go-karts, bowling and a trampoline park just to name a few of the other activities besides the arcade. Again, still pricey and a bit rundown. Which brings me to my main reason for 2 stars. If you're taking small children DEFINITELY go early in the afternoon because the vibe changes immensely the later it gets. There's been confrontations fights and shootings(including a 14yro shoot dead 2yrs ago). So be careful and aware of when you go, if you decide to go here. Very disappointing experience. On January 15, 2026, around 9:00 PM, my family (four adults and a 12-year-old) visited Dezerland intending to go to the Glow in the Dark Mini Golf. A security guard at the main entrance behaved in an extremely aggressive and intimidating manner, yelling at us, invading my personal space, and repeatedly stating the place was closed--despite many people entering and exiting at the time. We were treated with disrespect and hostility, which is completely unacceptable, especially in front of a child. This was our first and last visit. Dezerland seriously needs to review its security staff and customer service standards. read more

I would definitely say Deezerland is between a 3 & a 5. The concept is fantastic! A car museum, a James Bond museum, indoor go carts, lazer tag, a bowling alley and a pinball palace! Wow!! So many great things! There are also many different shops . However, there are also a lot of empty spaces. There are a few fast food restaurants and even more food and beverage locations that say something to the effect of opening soon. I will say, it was a Friday night and it was NOT busy at all. We went to the 007 bar before going to a movie and it was pretty good. It is a pretty cool spot with a lot of potential. I went to the Auto Museum and had a blast. There was also a pinball arcade but I haven't done it yet. I like how the movie theaters looks inviting. There were many options for movie showings. Food hall has a decent variety of options. Great escape from heat and indoor theme park. read more

What an Awesome car collection!!! We'd held off from going thinking it was all clown and movie cars from what all you could see for free and from what most people post but boy I couldn't of been any more wrong!!! You could honestly spend a few days getting lost looking over the collection. They have a little bit of everything in all sorts of conditions, which I like to see. Some of them are even for sale!! Mr. Dezer's also really done a really good job of turning around the old Festival Bay Mall into something that could work, a really cool indoors park. There's like everything here. Bowling, indoor go-kart track, huge arcade with separate playable pinball collection, lazer tag, a trampoline park, bumper cars, pinball, glow in the dark put put, axe throwing, and so much more!! Even a few cool foodie spots including Milk, where it's all you can eat cereal. How fun! We really didn't do anything other than the car collection and the Bond Lounge but we toured the whole place and it look really, really fun. Especially perfect for a rainy day. We tried to do the Bond Lounge but I wasn't feeling the bar tender, "Hey buddy". He also couldn't do a Bloody Mary and said he didn't have any beer on draft for whatever reason so I got nothing.
