Review for car wash only. There aren't too many automatic gas station car washes in the area so I gave this one a try to remove some pollen and evidence of recent bird encounters. The prices are okay but the car wash is brushless and seems to be underpowered compared to others in the area since it didn't remove as much debris as other car washes I've tried. It's not totally awful but it's below average and while I might come back if I'm desperate and nearby it isn't my first choice for a car wash. read more

It hurts going to the pump. Thanks to a lot of factors, sadly USA used to be #1 in oil production. We are now third behind the Saudis and Russians, and I'm not pleased about it. I go here for convenience only. If I do fill up, five or so gallons max. There's more affordable gas close by, although right now not as much of a gap. To its credit a clean station, and also well illuminated. This is in the Mosaic/Merrifield district of Fairfax. For convenience it's great. The pumps are a cinch to use, and a nice convenience store. I do wish their coffee was tastier, but it's a Sunoco. There is a car wash, that's decent enough for the exterior. You can save a little bit buy buying gas, but at this time not much of a value. read more

It's touchless, iykyk, so that's great, and the car wash goes pretty quickly so even if there is a line, it won't take too long to get to you. This is my go-to gas station since I live in the area now. Prices are competitive to the stations around the area and the convenience store has everything you need for a "quick stop" store. This particular Sunoco also has a brushless car wash -- perfect for those who want to be in and out. I'm not particular about my car washes (as long as it appears clean for the most part) and the car wash here does the job. There are four different packages and you can choose from, but I typically go all out and get the $12 wash. You have the option of paying for your car wash when you pump gas, or when you're in the line. The wait can be pretty long on the weekends (I've waited up to ~20 minutes before). read more

Good brushless car wash. Prices are a little bit higher than the super wash across the street. Here's what you should know - 1) being a brushless car wash, there will still be a Little bit of grime left on your car. I would recommend this place if you were in between detailing. 2) there is no conveyor belt - you are the one who controls your car in the wash. This means, the car in front of you won't leave the car wash, even though your wash has already started. confused? So was I. In order to get your car fully dry, you need to take a long time driving your car through the air blowers. Without fail, all the people in front of me have taken so long, my car wash had already begun before they left. What I recommend is that you don't pay for the wash until the folks in front of you feel like they've fully dried their car. That way, you can get all of what you pay for. read more

Make sure to check your receipt to be sure you didn't get charged for a car wash you didn't select!! This gas station is particularly annoying because it automatically selects car wash on some of the outside stations (I think their screens or software are broken). If you cancel the transaction (don't want the car wash) you can't rerun your credit card - you have to go inside. You can also use another card and hope it doesn't happen again, or just suck up the car wash tacked onto your receipt. read more

As far as gas stations go, this is a great one. It's the only gas station in between my two schools that I teach at so I stop here quite frequently. They recently put in wireless payment options so I don't need to swipe my card anymore. It's a quick, efficient way to pay that I hope more gas stations adopt soon. I only get gas so I cannot comment on the quality of the car wash or the store. However if you only want gas this is a fast, reliable option. read more

Good place to get gas. Good 'quick stop' store. Unfortunately, the car wash is NOT spraying much wax on my small SUV. It won't cover the top of the vehicle. I can prove this by looking through my sunroof. I believe the equipment has been adjusted to cut costs. It's possible it is poor maintenance. This has been going on for 1-2 years.
