First of all I can't even put into words how disappointing I am with this business. I contacted him…read morefor a full detail inside and out. I let him know how bad in condition my car was. He gave me a quote and in the middle of the work he texted me saying it was going to be an additional $100 because of how hard the work seemed. I agreed I would give him an extra $100 if all work was done properly and no work was done half way. He was 20 minutes late for the appointment and was late to drop off my vehicle even though he said he was on his way. There was MULTIPLE spots that were missed and could be taken off with even my nail scratching it off. I sent him all the photos and let him know I was very disappointed on everything that was done inside. My mats weren't even vacuumed at all and spots that could be taken care of weren't. He let me know he wouldn't take care of the spots because I refused to give him the additional $100 he asked for after giving me the original price he gave me from the start. I was polite on letting him know I just wanted all the missed work that was not done which I paid for $400 dollars and he REFUSED. He kept mentioning how dirty my car was as if I didn't know that and was asking for his service for that reason. I am beyond disappointed and very frustrated on not getting the service I was promised for and on top of that for the owner not owning up to his mistakes and coming back to clean the spots HE missed. This guy does not know how to treat his customers nor run a small business of his own. I don't think service gets any better than what I received from Bob…read more We just bought a new RV in Grass Valley and flat towed our Subaru Forrester from there to Salinas no problems. Then we drove the car maybe 10 miles and noticed that when I engaged the clutch it would stop the car. I knew it had to do with the tow brake we had installed which is a cable that runs from the bumper to the pedal. So I called Bob who at first said he couldn't get to us until Sunday (This is Thursday) and when I told him we were trying to leave Salinas Sunday he got us in that day at 2. Get a call around 11 from Bob saying he's on his way. Bob gets here and looks at what's going on and takes the time to watch multiple videos on YouTube to understand the project. An adjustment to the breakaway lock by placing it 1/4 of an inch back took care of my problem and he only charged the initial fee. I can't recommend this gentleman enough if you want an honest mechanic with a great ethic.
