It is hard to find a mechanic who is willing to work on a classic. As you know with a classic you don't just plug it into a computer and find out the problem. This is the single best experience I've ever had with a mechanic. I ran low on oil and my engine got a rod knock. To put it another way, I needed a new engine. I've got a diesel, and trust me, good diesel mechanics are hard to find. Since I didn't have one, I called around. Every estimate I received was for such a large amount that it would total my truck. Then I met Frankie. His reviews on yelp were spectacular, and when I walked in he struck me as an honest man. He gave me a quote that was a mere fraction of what everyone else would charge me. A new engine would cost me well over $6,000, but he said if I could find a cheaper engine he would be happy to put it in. Long story short, I bought an engine from a dishonest mechanic out of state who never sent the engine. Week after week passed with this mechanic assuring me he would send it in just a few days until finally, after a month, I had to cut my losses and buy an engine from someone else (and had to send my credit card company to get my money back). Let me say this again: my truck sat in Frankie's shop for WELL OVER A MONTH taking up space and costing him money. Though he must have been frustrated, he never let me know it as he was always tremendously kind and patient with me. When my engine FINALLY arrived Frankie had it ready for me in no time at all, and changed my clutch while he was at it for 20% of what it would cost me at a transmission shop. As long as I can go back to Frankie, I will never use another mechanic. read more

Where can I start, I recently brought in my Ford Expedition in for some repair done on it. They were very thorough and transparent with the diagnostic and repairs itself. They were able to find an issue that 4 other shops couldn't figure out and ended up being my sway bar links. They were patient with my needs and treated my SUV as if it were their own. Walked in late. Probably around 12-1pm about an A/C problem. I forgot the gentlemen's name at the desk but he was very friendly and helpful. Stand up guy who seemed very knowledgeable. Said I have to leave the car which was understandable. Got home thinking they wouldn't be able to get to it as they did look very busy and because I dropped it so late. To my surprise I got a call about 2 hours later with what he found. The diagnostic was free as well! With A/C repair the only word I can think of is EXPENSIVE! Very happy that wasn't the case. I am consistently impressed with how quickly they identify and any problem my family may have with our cars. Frank has recommended I hold off on work when there was still wear left, he has repaired parts many mechanics would have charged me to replace with new, when it was not needed, and has saved me a lot of money on auto repairs since I discovered his shop. His shop is always busy, yet he still manages to service our cars to fit our schedules. I've suggested he get a larger location and more mechanics, but he is so hands-on, and has a great team, he said he doesn't want to grow larger. I would certainly give more than five stars if I could this place is amazing my son recommended me to use them to get a second opinion on what had been diagnosed at another shop they said I had a blown head gasket so I proceeded to call Frankie and spoke with him and had my car towed over to his shop .......there was nothing wrong with my head gasket Frankie had ran many different diagnostics on it proving that the other shop was wrong in their diagnosis and I would've been out of over $2500 how do I use them the other shop also told me that I would be best off to go through my extended warranty myself and pay for the repairs totally out of my pocket and at the conclusion call the warranty Company and deal with them myself Frankie also took care of talking to the extended warranty people got what could be approved paid for and while I had my card his shop I had other work that needed to be done that I knew about it and he saw a couple things that I didn't know I needed done I am so happy I took the time to get a second opinion I now have a new mechanic that I can rely on and I know he will give me the best advice and the best price thank you Frankie for being honest and upfront with me I totally appreciate everything you did you and your team totally rock‼ read more

Don't often leave reviews, but this is good as it gets. Sent a quote request through Yelp to remove existing air suspension off of my Land Rover LR3 and install a coil conversion kit I had purchased. Frank (owner) responded quickly. Gave a quote for requested service and had it to him the next afternoon. They were able to get the truck in and out early next morning, earlier than expected for the exact price quoted.
