I ran in here after an appointment in area. It's in a strip mall at the end closest to Olive. The gal that waited on me was not very friendly or welcoming but I chalked up to her working alone on a kinda busy morning. She did however check with me on what type of milk I wanted which was nice. I ordered my Chai tea and almost immediately had order regret because I saw the sign advertising their special that sounded awesome. Nonetheless my tea was good. I had never been here before. I was meeting a friend for coffee and I knew she liked it here, so I suggested meeting here. There was one employee working behind the counter and she was friendly. I'm a latte gal and they had lots of options for syrups. They had lavender, which is my fave. I ordered it extra hot and it was. They have mugs to use if you're staying there, but I didn't realize that until after I had ordered. The latte was very good! They also have some pastries and individual sized quiches. I had a quiche and it was tasty! There are some tables and chairs, but not a lot. Maybe somewhere around 6-8? And there are a few little seating areas other than that. Was in the area and wanted to try a new coffee shop and some pastries. The place is a huge shopping center...sits in a corner closer to the road. Walked in an only one other customer was there. Place is def cute, kinda chilly but I liked it since I had ordered a Hot Gateway Mocha with almond milk...no whip. There wasn't a lot of pastries options so I chose the blueberry muffin. The barista asked me if I wanted it warmed and I said no...but wondering if maybe I should've . The muffin was dry and it was just okay, nothing special really. It did have plenty of blueberries so kudos for that. Wondering if these are house made or brought in from another location. Anyways....the coffee. It was just a coffee. We stopped by for drinks after church and we surprised by the great service and tasty drinks! Haven't been here before and my wife is a coffee snob, so we weren't sure how it would go. They serve Crimson Cup coffee from Columbus Ohio, (roasted steps away from our old church!) and the barista was very friendly and helpful. We got an iced pumpkin spice, iced lavender haze (with no hazelnut) and the apple Pie chai, also iced. Great flavors and nicely balanced. The place is smaller, but nicely laid out. Gateway Coffee is bringing smiles to Creve Coeur. This new coffee shop is just west of Highway 270 and is easy to find in Bellerive Plaza. So far, I have tried the Gateway Mocha, Americano, and Caramel Latte. All of the drinks have been delicious and what you would expect from a coffee stop. I love watching the coffee be made. There are some Baked Items available as well as bagged coffee. There is a mix-in station to add your personalized favorites. This local coffee shop has plenty of parking available. The Staff has been wonderful every time I have visited. I will be back very soon. read more

Gateway Coffee had their grand opening a couple weeks ago, but I wanted the rush to die off before I gave it a shot. The location is pretty convenient - in a strip mall off of Olive that includes a Schnucks, Jimmy John's, a kid's gym, and a few other shops. It's also near a lot of offices and other shops. Would be a great spot to grab a pick me up while heading to work or doing some running. The interior is pretty bare bones at this point, but they do have a few tables where you can sit and sip. The reason I decided to stop here was to get the gingerbread white mocha, which is a seasonal drink for them. Highly recommend it. It was about 10am on a Sunday morning, so there were 3 people there to handle my one drink order, and I got it fairly quickly. It looks like they have a handful of pastries available, but I stuck with just coffee. Well worth visiting if you're in the area! read more

I had a delicious apple crisp latte and my friend had the banana bread latte. They were great without being overly sweet. I also enjoyed a liege waffle. This hard-to-find coffee shop is nestled in a small strip center on your way into the city. My wife and I always enjoy finding new coffee shops when we're on vacation. This was our first stop this trip! We stopped here about 9am on a Wednesday morning. I was immediately met with a friendly face who asked good questions and guided me through the menu. I typically ask the server what their "last drink" would be if they could only drink one more. The gentleman suggested their Gateway Mocha which is their rendition on a white mocha with caramel. I enjoyed it. My wife got the vanilla latte and highly enjoyed it as well. Being slight coffee snobs from Chicago where choices are plentiful and local shops abound, we were impressed and plan on coming back. More seating and easier access would earn this a 5 star! read more

This Coffee shop was amazing! On a road trip from KC MO to Orlando FL and back this is the best coffee place we stopped at. They are efficient and friendly. Coffee was not acidic or burnt.
