I decided on a brownie type square, a key lime square (with the cutest tiny lime piece), and some Scottish shortbread cookies. I spoke with who might've been the owner and she says she grinds the pistachio in house to create the paste from scratch! They do not use any flavoring, only fresh ingredients. And that is why I immediately knew I was going to order that flavor. I also tried their carmello salato which of course was a no brainer. They can put two flavors in every size cup available and then the 2 largest sizes can fit three. There was a family ahead of us but their daughters were still deciding so they let me order ahead of them and the woman working apologized for the wait but it really was no problem! It's got such a great chic interior that is instagram ready, clean, and bright. I also never got a fresh refill of any drinks and soft drinks are 3.50! I ordered the salmon crostini and tacchino sandwich. And while the ingredients were fresh and plentiful, and it left me wanting more: more toast on the crostini as it was soft and flimsy with the salmon which is also soft and flimsy, wanted more tomato flavor in the tomato goat cheese mousse, wanted more goat cheese spread and fruit compote on the sandwich to offset the density of the turkey. Everything was very one note and a variance in texture. The fries and ranch were excellent. They were hot and crispy and the ranch was addictive. I wouldn't mind giving Gio another chance, maybe at dinner.
