My favorite eating spots may be Korner67 and 100 Montaditos . Oh let's not forget the yummy Novillo Restaurant ( for a good churasco and pinto rice) and the Old Shulas sports bar that is now I believe it's called Miami Lakes sports bar. The strip has a real estate office. On Saturdays they host a farmers market. A street is closed down for the set up and several vendors set up their tents. I've seen new comer bands set up in the outside open area. At night it's lighted up with lights on the trees. At night they will close a street for more walking area and you will see police officers guiding the guest and keeping us safe. During the start of the Christmas season they do a reveal of the lighting of the tree! The strip is well kept. Free Parking areas available surrounding the strip. So you may just find anything you're looking for in MainStreet. The only thing is while they have a few fashion clothing stop for women... there may be only 1 store that offers a laid back mens clothing. Or even for just a walk through the strip. I' live close by so I remember going to MainStrret as a teenager. The strip has closed many doors (to say a few: Tony Romas, Johnny Rockets, Mia Boutique, Peeky Boo) but something else opens that's just as good.

Miami Worldcenter is a 4 billion, 27-acre mixed-use development in downtown Miami. It spans 10…read moreblocks and is opening in phases with retail, hotels, offices, and residences. The Perez Art Museum, Kaseya Center, and the Frost Science Museum are a just a few blocks away. The two public garages for Miami Worldcenter are at 9th Street and NE 2nd Avenue. I recently had the chance to explore the Miami Worldcenter when I attended a Yelp event at SixtyVines, one of the first tenants of this development. Much of it is still under construction but there is still enough open to warrant a visit. An open-air shopping promenade runs north and south from NE 10th Street to NE 7th Street and between NE 1st and 2nd Avenues. A large public plaza and park will be surrounded by shops and restaurants to create a gathering space with public art. In addition to SixtyVines where I dined there is an Apple store, the first Miami location for Savage X Fenty by pop singer Rhianna, the Museum of Ice Cream, and Lucky Strike for bowling. Other open businesses include Sephora, Lulumon, Ray-Ban, The Container Store, Lucid Motors, Naftali Group, Free People. Hyp, and The Spot Barbership. Coming soon, Serafina. I love the public art, especially the historic globe that was once in the Pan Am Terminal on Dinner Key and then graced the entrance to the former Miami Science Museum for 55 years before being restored and installed in Miami Worldcenter.I am looking forward to coming back for a visit to the fun Museum of Ice Cream and to try some of the other restaurants as they open.

There's also free parking on the 1st floor, but get ready to fight with overly aggressive people for a spot. I probably won't return anytime soon though because leaving the mall is an actual nightmare with traffic.

I am mad that after 7 years of passing this place, I finally took the time to walk around after lunch at Lime. Walking to the Marina is an added bonus for a relaxing visit here. We were there the other day to have dinner at Joey Aventura as well as stop by Starbucks and the Lego Store. It has outdoor seating and beautiful tropical trees and foliage with newly constructed condominiums nearby. It's a very nice area. Some of the dining establishments include STK Steakhouse, Joey Aventura, North Italia, Sweetgreen, Pura Vida Miami, The Amalfa Llama, The Salty, and Starbucks. They have combination of healthy dining and regular dining. There is plenty of free parking available. More shops and restaurants are coming soon.
