For whatever reasons she has not been able to field any requests for assistance or help and we have been working with Amy, who I think is the owner/operator of the Travel Store. Amy sent me an e-mail which was my receipt for the down payment for the cruise. On the day that the balance was due, Amy called me and I paid off the rest of the cruise. This is the only time the Travel Store has tried to contact me. I later inquired as to flights from Syracuse to NYC (fr the cruise) and transfers from the airport to the port of departure. Amy did get back to me and I called in and paid Margaret for the other travel of this trip. I was e-mailed a receipt, again. I have e-mailed Amy and requested a packet for my trip. She indicates that I already received my packet - though she was never present in the store and I have never met her and none of employees have given us anything other than "receipts." I have come to find out that Norwegian has wanted additional pedigree information about myself and wife. I also was not inclined to know about making reservations for dinner and excursions and events on the boat. I called Amy this past Saturday and she asked if she could call me back because she was on the other line. I went to the Travel Store about an hour later and the Store appeared closed for the day. Amy has been avoiding me. If I wanted this treatment or lack of responsibility for customers, I would have used Orbitz or Expedia, etc. I will never use or recommend the Travel Store to anyone and I will be posting reviews on as many places I can so no one else comes to expect any HELP on their trip. It is my guess that this place is mostly in existence for the employees to get good deals on trips.

First, the "70-minute" Zoom presentation is misleading. Ours ran closer to 90 minutes, and then they pushed us into a one-on-one sales session afterward that would have gone even longer. When we declined and ended early, the salesperson was clearly frustrated. It felt very high-pressure and not respectful of our time. Second, the incentives were not delivered as promised. We received the initial $50 gift card for signing up, but the second one that was supposed to be provided after the Zoom call never came. Finally--and most importantly--the voucher itself is extremely hard to use. Availability is very limited, even when searching well in advance. Many destinations have few or no options at all. For example, we tried to plan a trip to Pittsburgh and found zero listings. Even when properties do show up, the dates are highly restricted. The few options that are available don't look very nice or updated, and many are not located in desirable areas of the destination. Overall, this experience felt the same as a traditional timeshare-style sales model: long presentations, high-pressure tactics, and benefits that are much harder to use than advertised. I would not recommend it.

Still as it happens the clerk's office is absolutely gorgeous, and one of the great towering spectacular buildings of downtown Syracuse that most people don't even realize exists.

The places they booked us (we were not put in 5 star riad when there were 5 star ones available and charged same amount) and the riads they chose were very long walk to get to. They booked us for the Yves St Laurent garden instead of the museum. There were many spots to see they didn't mention. They had us driving all over when there were better options. There were many places we should have visited such as Dyers District (silk & cashmere fabric & scarves). We had lunches included (they did these on the cheap) and their recommendations for dinner were the same sort of food every night. I felt they took us to shops that were overpriced and probably giving them a kickback. Would have preferred to have gone to Max & Jen, Michi, Rue 33 Majorelle, El Fenn Hotel Boutique and Rooftop Bar, etc. Next time, check Yelp, Trip Advisor or elsie green blog first!

Namir, our driver, was above and beyond the call of duty and truly made us feel like we were members of his family. He took such good care of us and even though I'm old enough to be his mother I kept referring to him as my father since he guided us and wouldn't allow us to do anything that could hurt us in the end. We loved Morocco and the people and felt that each place that we visited was unique and special and it's hard to pick a favorite. Of course our night in the desert was a once in a life time experience and probably was one of the highlights but we equally enjoyed all of the other places we visited. The Riads we stayed in were outstanding and once again the people we met in our stays just added to the enrichment of our trip. I will recommend this company to everyone I know and am so thankful that I stumbled upon them. We spent two weeks in Spain afterwards so it was a whirlwind trip but our time in Morocco was definitely the highlight of this entire experience.
