Great people to deal with I have already started another project and plan to use them again.read more

Let me start by saying, this is the second time using this company this year for counters while…read morebuilding our house. The first time they installed all the countertops. They were great to work with and the work was awesome! This has been an entirely different (very negative) experience and has left me with an awful opinion of their company. I have an email stating the installer would be "at the house no later than 10 am, was first on the books and wouldn't take long at all to install the island countertop." I let them know that I would let my work know that time frame and I look forward to seeing them. Well, I call at 10:30 just making sure I was still to be expecting them with the island today. The office guy was very nice, told me I was first on the books and was supposed to start at 10. He was reaching out to the installer and he would be in touch. Ok...right before 11:30 I get a call from the guy in the offic(Austin) telling me to expect them to be there within an hour. Wait, they should've already been done and I'm supposed to go to work and let him know that. He says the installers kid was sick or something. Ok, I take a deep breath and try to be understanding because I know life happens but it still would've been nice if they could have filled me in. It's now after 12:30 and I find myself calling, again. Beth answered and said she was the office manager. She said she was just told what was going on and kept apologizing. We laughed and I said once again, it just would be nice to know so I can go take care of a client at work that does need to be done today. She says something along the line of her installer didn't feel like coming and doing my job. Wait, what? I said that must be nice and hope he enjoyed his morning off but I can't take another day off and the installation has to happen today. She said she agrees and he will have to make it work and asks what time works for me? I tell her I will zoom to work, have my meeting and zoom back by 3. She said 3 it is and he will be there. I really liked her and she calmed me down and I was fine. Why on God's green Earth have I still never been contacted by this installer and waiting? I call and tell them I need to talk to a manager or an owner because it is almost 3:30 and have still had ZERO contact with anyone unless I called them. The male manager told me that he was sorry but they only have one installation vehicle and they've been busy all day prepping for a big job that starts at six tonight. I said that is weird, I was told the guy just didn't want to do the job today. He said " I don't know who would have told you that!" I said, " I know sir, it was Beth, your office manager." And he just skipped over that and told me they were headed my way now. I just got my island done and it is after 5 with zero apologies from the installation crew and not much sympathy from management seeing as how I was fed THREE different stories/ excuses. Thanks for jerking me along all day Graniteman! Super excited to miss a whole days pay and play catch up for something as simple as the truth would have fixed. I hate leaving negative reviews and rarely do but you guys have really dropped the ball. The picture of the drawers in the comments are the "cleaned, finished" project and I guess thanks for the spare screws??

Edit: got a call from the manager Benjamin who I explained in detail the situation and he understood. Is willing to work with me to correct the situation and really seemed like he cared! He didn't ask me to but I'm changing the rating since his customer service is great! The store really does have an amazing selection of product as well!

Our contractor asked us to buy all of our materials prior to starting our bathroom remodel. We went here, worked with a different store manager, ORDERED our tile, had to wait due to supply chain issues, picked it up when they called. Then our contractor had to finish up a job-which lasted longer than expected(out of our control). He did our job, we had about 4 1/2 boxes of unused tile-floor and wall (20% overage we were told to buy by the store!). I tried to return the tile as soon as we possibly could only(literally the same day the contractor finished laying the floor) only to be told our returns were not eligible due to time and policy change. How convenient. I even asked if they would issue a store credit with a re-stocking fee which I was kind of expecting. Nope. Furthermore the "new" sore store manager offered no help and she copped an attitude when I said that my "discount" was almost equal to the amount I was returning when I asked the value. The tile took time to order from the store, the contractor took longer than expected, but we were never notified by Tile Shop that the terms of the return had changed! Shady a$$ people here now-you've been warned! Sub-standard tile and NO SERVICE AFTER THE SALE!!! Another Huge WATCH -OUT....the entire sales staff and management we dealt in the beginning with were no longer employed at the store (4-months later)!! It's too late for me now-DON'T SHOP HERE!!!

Definitely not my forte, but fortunately one of the employees named Hope knew exactly what we were looking for and went above and beyond in assisting us. It was more than just good customer service that we appreciated, she took our little project very seriously, had such a sweet demeanor in showing us everything we needed to complete our task. At the end, there are a couple store managers overseeing our projects completion and I could really tell that the workers in that store genuinely got along well and it spilled over into an experience that led me to search for a way to post a review. In this day and age, rare is the case where a store worker and others are truly helpful, the people in charge certainly fit that bill! As a business owner myself, I recognize talent in the workforce, folks like Hope and your managers (whose names I missed) could work for me, and I'm a tough judge of winning workers.

There are a number of quality hobby shops that offer a wide variety of arts and crafts items, but Hobby Lobby seems to combine every imaginable crafty DIY product imaginable. Seeing my daughter's face light up and hearing her verbal gasps as she wandered throughout this art and craft sanctuary was a wonder to observe. Note: We live in Hawaii. We have a couple small craft stores, but nothing remotely like this. On my part, having just purchased a house to renovate, my brain was going overboard with the endless decorating possibilities that Hobby Lobby could afford. Realistically however, I doubt that I will personally do any shopping for that house (especially since I live in Hawaii), but I'm sure most every home has a person that would LOVE this place. I know that my family does.
