She allowed us to peruse the store at our own pace and focus on our choices while she kept track of our items as we added and deleted them. She was very, very pleasant throughout the experience. Our first visit lasted for hours, and she never once rushed us but encouraged us to take our time. We even had to take a break to eat, and she encouraged us to relax and not worry. We had time to think through our choices and feel confident with our decisions. She reviewed all of the details with us before any payment was made. She was like dealing with Nordstrom's quality service, and she continued to follow up well beyond our in-store shopping. She has continued to check on our deliveries, add new items, and answer questions as they came up. Her support team and management also support her. Heather truly shines. Young guy. Short hair. Maybe Andrew? If that sounds familiar, hit me up and I'll adjust the review. Andrew helped my dad understand the difference between a mesh keyboard and mechanical. He also treated me as an equal - I may have not known the word for 'mesh,' but he knew I was technical. I am surprised at the bad reviews. They were so patient and kind. Brick and mortar is dying, but I really needed my dad to touch the keyboards to understand and pick one out. So I hope this review helps keep the store alive!

Corporate policy clearly states there is no restocking fee on unopened items. Even more importantly--South Carolina law prohibits such a fee. Despite that, Supervisor Casi insisted we had to pay over $400 to return it. When we tried to show her the policy and the law, she rudely dismissed us and called her manager, Shawn, who said he didn't care what policy or law said--"This is how I run my store." Casi then threatened to call the police if my husband didn't comply. When I later went in calmly to resolve the situation, she sent a sheriff to confront me before I'd even said a word. I was mortified. Corporate confirmed we were right and refunded the money--but the behavior of these employees was not just unprofessional, it was ILLEGAL. Do yourself a favor and shop anywhere else. If they're trying this with us, how many other customers have they robbed under the guise of a fake "policy"?

Lukejohn avoids calls, doesn't call back, doesn't provide updates and doesn't deliver on promises. I mean, a simple google search on the guy should tell you all that you need to know when two of the first things that pop up are his mugshot and a breach of contract lawsuit. Sad excuse of a "business", so frustrating and really disappointing. The worst part is my parents are the ones dealing with this company. The kitchen and master bath were supposed to be finished by Labor Day 2024, it was then pushed back to thanksgiving 2024 and the kitchen was barely useable then. The master bath was completed may 9th and the kitchen is STILL not done. 90% of the cost of the cabinets was paid in October in preparation for delivery and they still don't have the finished cabinets. A year ago they were so excited about their new house and since then, they have been constantly let down by this company and it has turned their excitement of starting a new chapter of life in a new home into a complete nightmare. Finally, my mom asked me to call Lukejohn as a last resort after trying to get ahold of him for days/ weeks. And guess what...he answered the phone! When I told him who I was he rudely told me he was out of town and busy and someone would be reaching out that day. They then gave them a July 1st date, which has since turned into August 4th. incredibly pathetic.

At the time of purchase we were told the items were in stock from the supplier in NJ & typical delivery time is 1-2 weeks. Because of Covid it may be another week. Our decision to purchase at Capital was based on the in- stock status. After 2 weeks we would call the store to check the status. The response the first few times was "it's in stock". We know that. That is why we bought them. Now I want to know why they aren't in the store in the timeframe we were promised. Beth would say that she'd inquire and call us back. After 4 weeks of following up each week, Beth never called back to give the status and tell us the expected date when they'll receive it. Finally got good news when we called, the package are out for delivery and expected to be at the store later the same day. There's a chance the truck may come after the warehouse closes and the delivery would be the next day. We told Beth that we would pick up the boxes the next day around noon. She said she would call to confirm that the shipment did indeed arrive. Well as our previous experience with Beth she did not call and confirm the shipment arrived. So the next morning we called again and inquired. The associate on the phone said the shipment arrived the previous day. Great, we'll be there in 15 minutes as we told Beth the day before. The associate said it doesn't work that way. Capital Electric needs notice because the boxes are received on a pallet and must be unpacked. We did give notice the day before. Apparently Beth communicates as poorly to her coworkers as she did with us. 15 minutes later we were at the store picking up the boxes. If you do decide to buy from Capital I hope you don't have the same poor experience we had.
