I have on occasion had my brother pick me up and we get breakfast, but not every time! Today I took my car for an oil change I was the first customer there and told front desk that I was running to get breakfast and he said we will call you when it is ready and I said thank you! I returned and they had not even touched my vehicle. The front desk worker told me that I had to be here in order to receive service. The worker NEVER explained that to me! That should been explained instead of tell me that they would call me when it was ready! There was no apology for the miscommunication or anything! If that was a new policy all employees need to know the policies so that it could be communicated with the customers! That is bad business! I would not be so upset had I at least would have received an apology! I guess my business means nothing to them!

Then dude cleans it up by dumping washer fluid (from their spigot) all over the top of the engineer. (glad it didn't crack my engine block. Cold water on a hot block is STUPID!). For a PREMIUM price I expect PREMIUM service. The hood wasn't latched all the way; discovered that on my drive on the interstate. I don't want a coupon, I don't want a refund. I do know I am not going back. $130 for oil change? Crazy. Get an upcharge on the upcharge. He didn't ask if I wanted the same oil. He did wash my windows.... They said it was an urgent fix that needed to be done, and quoted me $1318. CRAZY. I decided to get a second opinion from Old Hickory after it was recommended to me by someone who lives locally. I dropped it off around 9:45 am, and by 10:30 am they had called me to tell me that they had found a slight crack in the ball joint boots, but that there was no slack in them or the control arms. The man told me that if it was his car, he wouldn't have anything done to it and that I could come get my car. NOT ONLY did they save me $1300, but in addition, they charged me $0 FOR THE INSPECTION!! The other car place was SERIOUSLY trying to take advantage of me as a college girl who came in by herself. I am so thankful to the workers at Old Hickory and will definitely be back if I ever have any car troubles at all!

Instead, I am left with unresolved issues and a sense of disappointment in both the service and the final result. On June 11th, my vehicle was towed to Firestone Complete Auto Care for 3 flat tires and 2 damaged rims. Upon receiving my vehicle and doing an initial assessment, the Store Manager (Robert) informed me that his shop could repair my vehicle. I knew it would take a few days before anyone could work on my vehicle but after a week of no communication, I decided to visit Robert to get an update. He informed me that they were working through a backlog of vehicles but my vehicle was on schedule for repairs within the next 2 days. Another week passed by, but I NEVER received a call nor was provided with an update on my vehicle, at all. I had to call Robert or go there to find out the status of my vehicle at least twice a week. In fact, when he provided a status on my vehicle, they were ALL LIES, EVERY TIME. He would assure me that my vehicle would get worked on the next day, but the timeline kept moving to the next day and the next day; one excuse after another. After nearly 6 weeks of waiting, and much frustration, disappointment and inconvenience - on July 21th, I decided enough of this nonsense and decided that it was time to move on from Firestone (FOREVER) and take my business to a professional business. I had my vehicle towed from Firestone to a professional business. I immediately reached out to Firestone Corporate Office to share my total disappointment about my experiences and was informed that someone would reach back to me (still waiting). A previous custormer posted a review in June 2026 speaking to the incompetence and poor leadership at this local store; I strongly agree with his comments. I have recommended to my family and friends to not do business with this Firestone! My honest rating for Firestone Complete Auto Care on Vann Drive is actually a Zero. I have never had a horrible experience like this. I will NEVER recommend Firestone to anyone! I served over 30 years in U.S. Army, as a senior Officer and wonder if I had this exact car problem experience and trusted Firestone during my travels from one duty station to the other duty station, what would I have done?!?! All we needed was the tires to be balanced. The main guy did meant to us to be patience but we didn't realize it was going to be that long. They told us if we needed to go somewhere let them know and they'll give us the keys. We had a visitation to go to and when we tried to get the keys after seeing we wouldn't get in until another hour or so they told us we would lose our spot if we left. We stayed because we're leaving out of town the next day so it had to be done. I will say they did give us a 10% discount when we asked but overall the experience was not a good one.
