Wow, the people with bad reviews are very bitter. Why can't you pay beforehand? Well, if they catch something else, or literally can't do the job then what happens? Mechanics aren't magicians so I don't know what you're expecting. Anyway...I needed tires mounted and balanced. I walked in, with no appointment, and about an hour later got a text saying it was completed. Granted, I didn't have a car...just the wheels and tires. Dude loaded them in my truck while I paid. Skip this place. Haven't seen my car done yet, kind of mad writing this review. Quoted one hour for placing tires on my rims and on the van. Drove by one hour later and they had brought my car into the bay. Two hours later i was called to be told they could not do the alignment with the new tires and can give my car back the next day. I DONT LIVE NEAR HERE and I could not get a ride. Three hours to place four tires on a car after being told about an hour. I hate having my time wasted like this. Oh. Once they stared in it. I typically don't leave negative reviews but the Gateway location on Hacks Cross in Olive Branch left me feeling like I needed to put this out there. I took my vehicle in at 7:30 am when they opened and requested an oil change and new brake pads. They called me 2 hours later and said the oil change was done but that I needed rear brake pads as well. I asked if they could get this done and they said they could accommodate and for me to pick it up before they closed at 12:30. I called to check on it around 11:45 and they said my truck was ready for pickup but they weren't able to do my brakes... complete waste of my time. They had my vehicle for over 4 hours and didn't have the respect to call and let me know that the service couldn't be performed. On top of that acted like it was no big deal. No consideration what so ever for the customers time and inconvenience. I've had small issues with this location in the past but now I would highly recommend avoiding this place all together. Very dishonest man Mr. Stan! If he's at the counter Beware of him. Had a nail in my tire... he insisted I needed a new tire. I walked out after the lies he was telling me. Btw I was there the third time for air leaks in every tire in a two months time. It's ironic that I had to come back for leaks one tire at a time. Makes you want go . I've been going here for years but never again!!! first off they call me to let me know they don't know where I've been taking my truck to but that the lug nuts were worn out. ummm you guys sir!!! I buy my tires there! on top of that he gave me a total price of what they recommended I get done. After speaking with my husband I declined most work and asked them to just rotate my tires and replace lug nuts. He never gave me a new price! I never knew how much they over charge for Lug nuts. come to find out once I got there it was almost $300 in lug nuts and they had also completed the oil change I had declined. I had to pay out of pocket $429. I believe it was the manager that removed the oil change charge but $429 to rotate tires that I believe should be free since I bought my tires there. This is insane and lesson learned for sure!! NEVER buying tires from here or getting service done!! if you're overpricing items at least give customers a price before completing the work. read more

Great quality work is done here gang! They are not the cheapest around but the get the job done for sure. I have brought several cars here over the years and I have always been pleased with the repairs or products purchased. They have always repaired any tires that were damaged (and could've been repaired) for free, even though I had not purchased the tire from them. The only gripe is there is an old guy that looks David Hasselhoff that had an even bigger alcohol problem. He's an asshole, avoid him. You'll see what I mean. Had a nail in my tire at the end of the day and called right before they closed. Tyler and Kody were both welcoming and understanding. Bad news ultimately was it didn't need a patch but a whole new tire. Whole crew was empathetic and accommodated getting a new one on in less than 15 minutes. We have used them for about 6 years now. We use them to fix flats & rotate & balance the tires, which they do a great job. But, I wouldn't reccomend buying tires here, their VERY expensive. We buy our tires online at Tire Rack & then have Gateway install them. We really save alot that way. read more

If I could give NO stars I would! I took my car in because it was making a roaring noise. The Gateway technician said that he fixed the roaring issue, and that I also have a transmission issue - my car was now stalling when I drove off their lot, which was not an original issues! Basically, when I left Gateway my vehicle was worse than original!! So I quickly took my car to Dealership to diagnose/verify the new transmission issue reported by Gateway. Only to find out that there was not transmission issue but negligence by Gateway - the technician did not screw in a bolt which damaged tires, cause break fluid leak, and driving issues! I had to miss two days of work to get car fixed due to their negligence. And to make matters worse, in addition to paying for what they messed up on the car ($700 damages), I had already paid Gateway approx. $500 to fix my original concern only to find out that they did NOT fix the origin issue and caused another issue. I file with their insurance and could only get reimbursed for the damages cause by GW and not for the days I missed work or for the money I paid them to fix the roaring noise which was not fixed! I had to take my car elsewhere to fix the initial roaring noise for which they charged me for but did not actually fix the chief concern as well as pay to fix the issue they created. In 2 days I was out of $1500 for a $350 issues ( which they would have know if the technician were qualified to diagnose issues or admit that they don't know how to fix your car). Do not use Gateway on Hacks Crossing in Olive Branch, MS!!!!!!!!!!!!! They are a scam!!!!! read more

I went in there for a slow leaking tire. Had my spare on there. I was told that it was right before it was completely worn out. Jonathan the manager repaired my old tire so that I could ride a few days until I could get enough money to replace the two front tires on my car. If he hadn't done that I would have been in a real bad way. The guys up front are very friendly and I felt that they were trustworthy. I bought my new tires from Gateway on the 6 month/interest deferred card. All is well in my world. Whoo-hoo!!! read more

First off I would like to say that, I have always used Gateway for all of my tire needs,but today was a very bad experience for me. The store mgr at this location was very rude and unprofessional. I went to this location for a simple tire warranty exchange/rotate and balance and was given nothing but rudeness. I buy tires here all the time and I always get the extended road hazard warranty so that it will take care of the wear and tear of my tires but in this instance my tire had a manufacture defect on it and it was out of round which was not my fault nor was it caused by me. The store mgr wanted to charge me full price for the tire and not even consider that it is covered under warranty. Waisted 4 hrs of my day arguing back and forth with the store mgr which is i felt was a waist and then I call the corp office and they tell me I cant tell the location or the store mgr what to do.... OMG corporate office after several hours of this I finally got some reasoning but ,please be aware of this location and management.
