I just took my car into Darby's to get my tire replaced. I have run-flats on my car and called around to several places to see if they had one in stock. I decided to go with Darby's because of the excellent customer service I received over the phone. I was told that although they didn't have the tire in stock, they could get it within the next day and would be more than happy to take care of me. I brought my car in the next day and was greeted by a friendly gentleman at the counter. They had the tire replaced in under 30 minutes! Highly recommend this place! read more

Check engine light: 4-3-24 was sent here by my insurance company. & A coworker. Said try Darby's Tire & auto service at 9040 Pigeon Roost Rd- Olive Branch MS 38654-ph-662-895-2125. Mr LJ greeted me with a warm smile he said what seemed to be my problem ? I informed MrLJ what was going on when he took my car and brought it back to me said it's still under warranty I have to go back to the dealership for that problem. ( Mr LJ said he look at it first it might be gas cap or something simple as fuses. But it wasn't it had something to do with the air compressor Well that it still under warranty have to take it back to the dealership i did and for all that Mr LJ done for me I was only out of($52)dollars. Not bad it's hard to find a good honest mechanic like Mr LJ. when my hundred thousand miles is up with this car I will be returning back toDarby's for the rest of my car work.but for now as of 5-9-24) am back to see Mr LJ & Mr Ben to purchase for new tires get the mounted balance for only ($546.56) not bad.I got in at (7:30) and out by (7:55) thank you guys at Darby's . The owner there is MR Williams I do believe this is a family business good friendly people . they explain everything that's going on with your car. Tell you what you need to do. What's happening with it very reasonable prices in and out while you're waiting you get complementary popcorn, coffee, snacks, and tv in waiting area.so if you're in need of some car care call mr. we took a car in for service, and after a few days, we went to check on the progress of repair. When we asked the owner for a status update, he told us he didn't have time to give us one and went in the store. When we followed him in to ask for a possible completion date, he snatched up his keys and said, "fuck this!" and walked out and left. we have given them a lot of business, but no more. read more

I DO NOT recommend Darby's! Sharing experience from a friend... I hate having to leave a negative review but unfortunately, I was not happy with the service I received. I recently took my Jeep Wrangler in to receive an oil change, tire rotation and a few issues I wanted looked at. Initially, I was happy with the service, but when I got my Jeep home, I notice a dent and cut in the vinyl wrap in my hood. I also realized that my accessory lights were not working. I called Darby's and they told me to bring it back in. I dropped it back off, mentioned the dent in my hood and left it with them. They called me a few hours later to tell me the lights were working again (they had not reconnected the ground wire to the lighting control module). When I asked about the dent, they admitted they caused it. They had lifted the hood and threw it back into my LED light bar, denting and tearing the vinyl wrap. They told me there was nothing they could do about the damage they caused. Refused to compensate in any way for the damage they caused. So after being very disappointed with their response, I hopped into the Jeep and was driving home when I realized that my amp is disconnected as well. My sound system is not working properly now. They disconnected a bunch of things and either forgot how to reconnect or they just don't care. I've been bringing my vehicles here for 2 years. Very disappointed! read more

Darby's Tire and Auto repair in OB has THE best customer service. Byhalia small engine not only charged me $18 for a lawnmower tire repair last week (2 plugs), they didn't even call to tell me it was ready. Today, I went to Darby's with the other tire (my yard is full of obstacles, y'all), and not only did they plug the two holes right then, but he said NO CHARGE! Even gave Andy a package of peanut m&ms when the little coin machine only put out 3 little candies for our quarter. (I sent him up to the counter w a dollar for the package and we paid anyways). But y'all! These folks are super friendly and they WILL be getting repeat business from us! Free coffee and free popcorn! And there's loads of sitting spots that are comfy if you have to wait more than a few minutes. read more

Drive to Darby's Tire in Olive Branch today if you are looking for exceptional customer service, honest assessments, and fair prices!!! My mom is retired and in great health. Prior to Covid, she would often drive 4 hours to visit and play with grandkids for a couple weeks before returning home. Before she headed home, we took a quick look at her tires. Her 2010 sedan needed 4 tires, oil change and front & back brakes before her drive back home. We called around and thankfully found Darby's Tire! The employee patiently answered all of our questions during the call, including reviewing the price of each service before moving forward. We dropped off her car around 4pm and picked it up at noon the next day. Our time spent onsite was probably 10 min each time. If you want to be treated like you're an important customer and your time is valuable, call Darby's today. We are very happy we did!! read more

Came here to get work done and the prices are no less if not more than a dealer. I came home to find a deep scratch that took off a lot of paint. Go take your car to a dealer if you don't want it treated like Walmart servicing it. read more

All I can say is wow! We were heading out of town when my tire pressure light came on. Darby's was 15 min away from closing and they told me to come on anyways. They found the nail in my tire and patched it in less than 15 minutes. Amazing customer service and staff. read more

I'm so disappointed in Darbys. We have have used them since we moved to Olive Branch, and this last time was just disheartening. My husband took our Honda Pilot in because it was making a clicking sound. My husband asked for the timing belt to be looked at. He got a call the next day saying we had a "bad engine", my husband then asked if they even inspected our timing belt and they said no. We picked up the vehicle for a second opinion, because that seemed extreme to us. I feel like they just didn't want our business. We took it to another mechanic where the problem was fixed (tensioner and timing belt needed replacement, like we said). If this is the way a local business is going to treat our Veterans, especially one that spent 2 years overseas, it will not be getting our business ever again. I wouldn't recommend. read more

I want to caution you against going to Darby Tires. I have gone to Darby's a few times each time feeling a little cheated but not sure. Being that he claims that he bases his business off of Christian principles I trusted that they were being honest with me. This was the reason I went back again. I began a running joke with my family that Darby's always finds a way to make my bill around $700-$800 dollars regardless of the vehicle or the problem, lol. This was the running joke. Anyway, I brought my vehicle in for a starter being that I was told it would be around $380, that included 1.5hours of labor and the part. I had it towed in. Next day I get a call being told that after inspection it is not going to be as easy as thought, that headers are in the way and there were a couple ways to do it, but either way it was going to be $800. I just cringed inside being that the running joke continues. I decided this time I was going to get a second opinion. I paid the $50 inspection fee, even though I told them it was the starter and had it towed over to Christian Brothers in Southaven. They performed the service for $131 dollars labor plus part. After fees and taxes it cost me $450 roughly. I called the Owner of Darby's and told him what happened. I expressed to him that only one of two options is plausible here. 1. Either the mechanic lied or 2. Christian Brothers down in Southaven has much better and smarter mechanics. I told him that I have felt cheated before and that I felt like I have been baited and switched. I will speak for him in a positive way in this one instance only. He gave me my money for the inspection back without issue. However, he became aggressive and forcefully told me to never accuse them of baiting and switching. That he backs his guys and and he does a 30 minute devotional to the lord every day to build that relationship and that he wishes everyone could have a relationship like him. I am not saying this to mock him as I hope he does have a true relationship with the Lord, but I will say that I know plenty of so called Christians that are absolute liars and cheats. To get forceful on the phone and aggressive, in my opinion, that is not the way to handle a complaint when a customer is trying to express a concern and even throws more concern to the potential accusation. You might not like what is said, but handling it in a better and more professional manner would be a better solution. On the basis of him using the Lord and his potential beliefs to protect him from potential wrong doing, I have learned for myself and in my own opinion, that anytime someone throws the lord out for their shield, they are usually usurpers of Christ and are the ones to absolutely be wary of. Again, I am not saying they for a certain baited and switched me, but if that is not the case, in my opinion, their mechanics are going to potentially cost you double what you would pay than if you go to a place with really good mechanics. Here is my recommendation. If you take it to Darby's and all the sudden it is not what they say or if they want to do an inspection first and then give you a price, I would get a second opinion at a different shop. It could save you hundreds of dollars like it did me. I once had my dad take his vehicle to Darby's and he also had an issue and swore he will never take his vehicles back there. After my dad's issues, that is when I became wary of Darby's because of those little gut feelings that something just wasn't right with my other transactions. It was this wariness and my previous concerns that when my price doubled, I decided to get a second opinion. This review is the situation from my viewpoint, what happened to me, how I felt, and my opinion. I personally will never use Darby's Auto in Olive Branch again and caution anyone planning to do so, don't, or at least get a second opinion. I personally and in my opinion no longer hold them as an honest auto shop or at the least an incompetent one. read more

Nice little shop! They were so quick and an incredible price! I went to get a used tire but they didn't have the size I needed so the young guy said he would just have them patch it up. I didn't think that would help but they know better than me! They ended up patching it up and charging me only $17.00. Definitely will be my new place to get all my car work. Don' t normally write reviews but after leaving Darbys today I just can't not post about the horrible service. We have been unable to get our Lincoln Town Car to shift out of park. We have taken it three times to Darby's. The first time they fixed something that had nothing to do with our problem and called us to come pick it up thinking it was fixed. The bill was $147. It wasn't. Took it back a second time - nothing done. Took it back a third time telling them what we had found on google that might be the solution and lo and behold it was but it was going to cost us another $580 saying the part was $200 and they were giving us credit from the original $147. Really? We called around and found the part for $107 and labor for $135 elsewhere. When we picked the car up today I asked what was going to be done about the $147 we paid and still no repairs. I was told I would have to talk to William and of course he was not there. We will never use them again and everyone I know will hear about this. read more

I like to buy from the smaller shops and not the big box stores so I stopped in with my car to get a set of tires. The price was fine and h dropped the car off. problem is they kept telling me I had bad tie rod end here. My tires were out if line etc. I had them fix everything. Then they called to tell my back wheel cylinder kit was leaking brake fluid all over and all the parts were so rusted that they had to be replaced. This I had a problem believing because I had never seen a leak and I had recently checked brake fluid and it was fine. I toil them I would take care if that issue myself. My $600 tires ended up costing me 985. When I left Darby'sy tea brake was making noises so I drove my car directly to my mechanic. I never mentioned Darby's working on the car. I just asked him to see what the problem was. He returned to tell me all that was wrong was that the brake had so Show become unhooked. All he did was put it back together. I asked him if anything was leaking. He said no everything was fine. I asked him how my tie rod ends were and he said they were old but looked fine. THEY NEVER EVEN CHANGED THE TIE ROD. !!BEWARE OF CROOKED SHOPS AND DARBYS WAS THIS DAY! read more
