This was our first visit to Gators so we were excited to try something new in Spring Hill. We were greeted by a friendly hostess and seated promptly. There were a lot of big screen televisions and place is a fairly good size restaurant. Very clean and organized. Our server was very informative and kind. I ordered 10 wings half parmesan and half sweet chili. I was disappointed when the wings came out. They were small, dry, and had very little meat on them. My son and husband ordered wings also with the same result. We also ordered the Cobb salad. It was mediocre to say the least. The chicken was dry and flavorless. Unfortunately our food order did not meet our expectations. When the bill came it was $58. I felt like that was on the expensive side for wings and salad. read more

Service was excellent. The restaurant was very clean and you could tell as soon as you walked in the doors. The greeter already had menus in hand and we were seated immediately. Tons of TVs with all the games on. Beers were ice cold and fresh. Food was delicious. Will definitely be returning on the regular. read more

We decided to try Gators for lunch, because they offer a gluten free menu. We were given the menu and were seated. I asked for any lunch specials and was then provided a lunch menu. I order boneless wings with fries. Parmesan garlic sauce was my choice of flavor. The wings were a little tough but the sauce was spot on. My wife had the grilled chicken sandwich with Gatos own sauce. It came without the sauce so she had to ask for it. But it had a nice flavor. Overall, it was a good experience and would come back. So we also went for dinner, and the food was great. I have several different flavors of wings. All really good, especially the honey garlic sauce. But service was really lacking this time. They really need to check on tables to make sure drinks are good. I feel if I have to ask for a drink, which we did, then maybe a lackluster tip is in order. read more

At Gators in spring hill. Very disappointing. I watched the waitress visit with other staff and friends at a table while our food was apparently sitting out to be brought out. I stopped in here for a quick lunch one day. I was craving some wholesome, fattening, fried stuff. I wasn't disappointed! As we were passing by we stopped by Gators Dockside specifically for the Gator Tails as we aren't from the area but these sounded appealing. We were pleasantly surprised to hear tap beers were B1G1, so of course had to get a round. Service was fabulous. Nickolas was beyond efficient from excellent service from the start to ensuring we had everything to enjoy our meal and more. I do not recommend this place to anyone. We waited an hour and had only drinks. Our appetizer (gator street corn) came with our food... over cooked and dry and oily. Our kid got 1/2 a dozen boneless wings.... it is literally popcorn chicken. No meat. The waitress says "yeah I know they're really small". My burger and fries had a piece of cellophane randomly under my fries. Gross. Btw...That popcorn chicken cost $6.50. Bad service, bad food... don't waste your time. read more

Came for a fish fry dinner on Friday. Fish was greasy. Fries and coleslaw were very good. Biggest disappointment was they said I would have to pay extra for one more tarter sauce. This restaurant is not cheap as fish fry is $15.99. That is a turnoff when they try to nickel and dime you like that. I will not be back. read more

We just ordered for pickup pork mojo tacos in celebration of Cinco de Mayo and Taco Tuesday. We had sides of black beans and yellow rice. My husband also ordered chicken wings which were delicious. The taco meal was horrible. It didn't quite evoke the flavors of México. It was cold when he got home. Almost like it had been sitting around waiting for someone to order it. Absolutely cold and soggy. The yellow rice was mushy and forgettable. Had an out the box look. The black beans had good flavor but they were also cold. We've been here several times. I'll simplify this - If I lived in Spring Hill, THIS is where you would find me a few nights a week. The restaurant is extremely clean, well lit, and well taken care of. The bar staff was very fun to interact with, and gave me great suggestions on the menu. I met a great local couple and we talked for over an hour. Very friendly people abound at Gator's. The outdoor patio looks like a great place to relax, I'll make sure I do that next time I'm in town. But anyone who follow me knows what's coming next.... "How are the wings"? Simple answer - Fantastic. What I really like is that they a Grilled, which was new for me but they were on point. The bar staff explained the flavor options to me very well (there's a lot to choose from) and made it easy to order. I ordered Gator's own recipe, and the traditional Buffalo flavor. These wings can compete with anyone, anywhere. The Yuengling was cold, and the wings were hot. Heaven must be a lot like Gator's. Oh - and the beer was 2 for 1! (What??) This place is fun, laid back, and the food was pretty tasty (with the exception of the clam strip po boy). The shrimp po boy was very yummy though! My fiancé and I ordered both the clam and shrimp po boy and had the waitress split the sandwich and give us one of each. The service was great and the pretzel was very yummy!! I'm not so sure how I feel about the positioning of the plaiting for the pretzel but I told myself that it's because the condiments would have said off if they were anywhere else, or that someone in the kitchen has a really hilarious sense of humor. read more

I'm giving the restaurant a 3 star review only because I have ate here in person before and it was delicious. Last night, however, I ordered delivery through bitesquad and the results were very different. I understand that food is definitely not going to be perfect once it gets to my house but there is not excuse for a burnt food item. I work in the service industry and I would NEVER allow an order of fries to leave the restaurant as burnt as mine were last night. They also have a pup menu for when you bring your furry friends to the patio! I'm not a big pretzel fan, but the dessert pretzel bites are fantastic!
