4/24/2025 Their spinach salad without blue cheese and added chicken.
    Mikhail H.

I was craving a salad and they delivered next level! Seriously, it is amazing how hard it is to get a decent salad! I got their spinach salad without blue cheese {sorry friends but it is on my short nope list} but I added chicken. Their champagne vinaigrette I will say seemed more like a balsamic versus champagne. There was such a great amount of tomato, carrots and avocado too. It was delicious and I look forward to trying more of their food.

    Late dinner with the family.

First time at Gators. Interesting space and not what I expected. Small bar area for 21 and over and larger space with pool table and seating for mixed ages. Family and I walked into trivia night, which seemed lively and fun. Sat at the bar area, which is a bit tight and cozy. Food and drink was enjoyed by my hubby and daughter - my meal wasn't as good and our server didn't charge us for it. Though, it was cold and rainy outside, I sat outside for a bit to take a phone call. The outdoor area was a bit busy with smokers. The outdoor area is spacious and probably is great during the warmer times of the year. May try again in the summer.

    Pretzel and sausage fondue

Went here for inch while waiting on Discount Tire. The tap beer was one of the coldest I've ever had, which was great. I decided to get the pretzel and sausage fondue. The menu said "double smoked sausage and house-made beer cheese. The cheese was broken and looked unappetizing and had no flavor. The sausage was so spicy, I tried one piece and could not eat any more. The texture of the pretzel was nice, but once again, not much flavor. Will definitely play it safe next time and go to Banning's, where I know I won't be disappointed.

Much better places to spend your money. You will have to chase down service, and the management is not a friend of the guest

Fun sports bar. $3 breakfast everyday is good, filling, and obviously affordable. Drink prices are reasonable.

I'll speak to the lounge/bar part here, which also has several different sides. First, the bar is your standard, modern-looking L-shaped counter, a bunch of stools, etc. it's not quite divey -- seems like it's aspiring to greater heights, though the dimly-lit tables and booths on the other side of the room would beg to differ. There are other tables out in the open, near the big window, better lit and with more of a restaurant vibe. It's all good; you got a nice happy hour, and above- average food for any bar or pub (hence the Kitchen) in the vicinity. The bartenders have all been spot-on, attentive but not pushy and a joy at happy hour. And yep, the chow I've had here to date has been resoundingly tasty, with the cod fish tacos (three) served up nicely slathered with lines of crema and paired with lots of avocado slices. Nice. Hummus plate was a winner too, the fresh hummus working against a nice, robust mix of fresh veggies. Plenty of food here. This is from the regular menu, which also sports a lot of familiar entries --- burgers, wraps, salads, fish and chips, even vegetarian options. Im down with this side of the Silver Birch; the actual kitchen/restaurant looks like it's on the other side of building (separate), so I can't speak to that but I would like to try it sometime. In any case, I like the joint better now than what it used to be, which was a Chinese restaurant; it's airier and lighter and has a better menu. There's karaoke, and the game room has plenty of entertainment. Also, it's located right on a roundabout, so getting into the small on-site parking lot can be a bit tricky.

Sadly the restaurant is closed at this time, this was a good stop if you're in Beaverton not sure…read moreif they're going to reopen at any point.

My friend was celebrating his 80 some birthday and he loves micro-brews, we tried three pints, a hazy, a brown and a stout, they were all excellent. We liked them so much we took three cans home!! The food options were a nice surprise. We had the chicken Tinga nachos, they have a variety of other protein options, we split some happy hour nachos with chicken , they were loaded with cheese, jalapeños, onions and tomatoes. Well worth it, we also split the chips and salsa, a little plain but they matched well with the brew. The staff is super friendly and engaged as we sampled multiple beers, we really enjoyed the laid back feel and vibe, I cannot wait to visit again with more friends! Hope they get Sunday Ticket , it would be a great addition to the laid back feel that a sports bar lacks.

OMP checked all the boxes and I gotta say they've stepped up their sports bar bona fides: I counted 14 screens spread across the entirety of the place, which is pretty huge now that they added a game room at the back. The covered patio's pretty sizeable too. Anyway it turned out to be a decent call, as I got a great view of the game, cheery service from the staff, and a nice, cool, uncrowded environment (middle of the day and sat inside). Unfortunately they haven't stepped up their food game, and my garden salad felt like it was straight out of a bag, mostly iceberg lettuce and a tomato or two for color. Meatball Sliders were ok, but I'll also cut the OMP a little slack; these were happy hour items AND, it is a pub. Order accordingly and you should be good. 4 stars for service and views, 3 stars for food.

This brewery is in a part of Portland we don't usually go to so there were lots of breweries that were new to us to try. Steve and I had lunch here. I saw that they had a pretty deluxe grilled cheese sandwich and that sounded great. With a few different kinds of cheese and tomato this sandwich proved to be more involved than I thought but it was good! Steve and I then shared an order of onion rings... man I haven't had those in a while and they were not disappointing at all. The beer... yes that was what our primary draw was to come here for. I got the the Row 14 which is a rice lager and this particular rice lager was Hopped. It was good! It had that nice graininess that you get with a rice lager in the flavor profile but with it being hopped it's a bit more bitter... a bit more of a bite. It wend good with the meal! We had another Old Market beer. This one was the Dark Ritual which was a dark lager. This was another good, solid beer also. Flavors to enjoy with this one are coffee, maltiness, roastiness, sweet with a smooth body. The restaurant location is cool. It's nice and spacious and comes across as kind of a college hangout (though I don't know if it really is). It also looks like you might even possibly get live music on certain nights. Old Market was a good, solid visit and is worthy of a return.
