I was happy with my take away until this little thing inside my dish. Please show this to them.

Ok, it was a great meal until this (picture attached). I ordered for take away and very happy eating what I ordered at home. I ordered some pad thai noodles with beef and asian hoisin bbq sauce. I added some mushrooms and onions. Remember you have to pay for each ingredients you add. The whole dish was actually very tasty and was very happy eating. Finally when I dug deeper to almost 3/4 of the box, i found a paper clip as one of the ingredients. My stomach kinda flip flop, just wasn't able to finish the remaining of the dish. I cannot ran back to their restaurant because it would take me 15mins to go back so I just took the picture. I don't know if they will read this review but this is just to warn others to be careful and tell then when you order not to put paper clip in the dish. And kindly show this picture to them if you happen to Yelp while eating in their restaurant.

Really enjoyed my noodle bowl here. I ordered fine noodles in teriyaki sauce and another in curry sauce and thought it was delicious. There's indoor/ outdoor seating, which is nice to people watch. It did take awhile to get our food though but there was only one cook. Everyone was really nice, I'd come back again.

But they do their best to seat as many people as possible. I got in fairly quickly because i was alone. The food was fantastic. I had the Carbonade a la Biere, and it was so great! Like a beef stew and very tasty. Also had some good Belgian beer. Service was attentive and very fast. The restaurant is lively and exciting - not really a quiet romantic dinner. But a lot of fun!

While the register states No Cards one of the servers told the table next to mine not worry when they didn't have enough euros. Only a drink menu was provided and the dishes being served that day were handwritten on moveable boards or posted on the wall. I had on my list a couple to try but finally went with the Belgian carbonades à la biere which was beef stew with mashed potatoes in a dark gravy made with beer. The plate was quite generous and much appreciated since I devoured it. I enjoyed the creaminess of the potatoes swirled with gravy but the meat could've been a tad bit more tender. Service was good. I think everyone on the floor stopped by my table for one reason or the other. Ambiance was casual and looked like many people were taking their time over their meals. When finished you need head to the register to settle the tab. I paid in cash. Worth a return visit.

Their rabbit stew was also very delicious and it paired so well with their fries. I'm usually not a big fan of fries, but I could not stop eating them. Service: We didn't have a reservation, but they were able to quickly accommodate us as we got there a bit before rush hour. However, I would definitely recommend making a reservation as it gets pretty busy, especially with locals. All the staff were very nice and attentive as well! Ambiance: They have several levels to accommodate more people. They have their main bar on the first floor, but you do have to hike up a bit of stairs to get to the restroom as there's a flight of narrow stairs, so be careful. I really enjoyed dining here as it felt like a very local spot. This restaurant was definitely the highlight of our trip to Brussels!

The mussels are fresh and flavorful, and you can't help but slurp, I mean scoop up, some of the cream and garlic sauce in between each mussel. Overall, Le Bistro is a good...bistro...option for some local foods.
