I took advantage of a buy 15, get 15 free units of Botox promotion. My appointment lasted literally 90 seconds. I paid for 15 units of Botox, I got 30 units of Botox. I think I spent a little under $200. Unfortunately, I don't believe for a second that I was treated with Botox because my forehead looks exactly the same as prior to my appointment. The aesthetician who injected my forehead did not take time nor did she tell me exactly what she was doing other than that she was going to treat my forehead area. I was not able to examine the vials of Botox medication nor was I able to look in the mirror after my treatment. It's been four weeks, I keep waiting for something to happen. I'm pretty sure that I was treated with a simple two dollars worth of saline solution. I'm really disappointed and I'm not thrilled about the fact that I spent money for no results. Was it a bad batch? Who knows. Maybe I should have looked for a place that was not offering a special deal on Botox? Will probably never know. All I know now is that I'm out almost $200 with no results whatsoever. Maybe some clients don't care about spending money for nothing but I definitely do and I'm definitely unhappy.

The Wellness Way quickly became my happy place--the one place I always left feeling better than when I walked in. From the smiles you are greeted with by Anne at the front desk, to Dr. Ryan's attentive and friendly demeanor, you really feel like you are in good hands. I had a fear of chiropractic adjustments as I had never been adjusted before, but Dr. Ryan was patient and gentle and always made sure to check in that I was comfortable. I have now drastically decreased my migraines days and have a newfound love for nutrition and wellness.

You will immediately feel welcome at your first appointment! They always greet you with a smile and true concern. I am your average female having suffered years of eating SAD (standard American diet) and as a result I had high blood pressure and was taking medication for 10 yrs. for it. In addition I started having other symptoms, which I did not put together as a whole from my bad gut health; bloating, indigestion, rashes, unable to loose weight, headaches, hot flashes, loss of balance, etc. When my primary Dr. suggested more meds for cholesterol control after a 5 min. appointment, I knew it was time to get off the medical treadmill. A friend recommend him to me, so after research into the 'Wellness Way' I set an appointment to interview him! And I was happily surprised to find that he had the whole picture in providing health care guidance on every level. First he sat down and we just talked for almost an hour! Unheard of with most doctors today! He recommended a few diet changes to help with stomach pain, that did begin to help right away. Ordered blood and other tests that later brought surprising results of how messed up my gut and hormones were! Then with real concrete evidence of what was wrong he prescribed the right list of healthy supplements. Then after follow-up appointments he would adjust the ones needed and several months later repeat the tests to see that most of all the bad results were now good results! Now about 6 mo. later, my blood pressure is normal and I am off all medications!! And bonus I feel great and have lost weight without any crazy diets. Dr. Ryan is the real deal, no miracle cures or fad diets, just common sense, kindness, wisdom, love and with a little discipline from me, I am on the road to great health and feel fantastic! Trust me if you are sick, tired and fed up with big healthcare doctors and the unending medications, CALL DR. RYAN!

I came to her with rheumatoid arthritis, and in my opinion, she gave me the impression that she could heal or "cure" my rheumatoid arthritis. That was one of the main reasons I trusted her and continued spending money. Looking back, I feel that I was led on a wild goose chase with expensive testing, supplements, and explanations that did not ultimately make sense or lead to the results I believed were being promised. My son was also seen by her, and our family paid a substantial amount of money for appointments, testing, and supplements. We followed her protocol exactly as instructed, but neither of us was feeling better. My son and I both asked questions throughout the process, but the more questions we asked, the more confused we felt when we left. Instead of receiving clear answers, we often felt talked in circles, dismissed, or made to feel as if we simply were not understanding. When pressed for specific explanations, it appeared to me that she did not have clear answers. Rather than explaining the reasoning in a way that made sense, she often seemed to fall back on repeating that she had been in business for 25 years and had helped many people. However, based on the reviews I have seen, I personally cannot verify that claim. Ultimately, after many claims that she could help us, she dismissed my son from her practice. In my opinion, this happened because we were challenging her explanations and asking too many questions. That was extremely upsetting, especially after the amount of money we had already spent and the trust we had placed in her. I later became very concerned about the supplement pricing and the way products were presented to us. In some cases, it appeared that supplements were being marked up from retail pricing, not simply offered as a convenience. I believe clients should ask very direct questions about pricing, whether products are required, whether there are less expensive options, and what evidence supports each recommendation. The most troubling part of this experience is that after we paid for expensive testing, my son and I have repeatedly requested our patient records and test results by email, text, and phone, and we still have not received them. In my opinion, this is unacceptable. Patients should not have to chase a provider for their own records, especially after paying significant money for testing and care. At first, the relationship made me feel very seen and important. Over time, I felt that this was part of what drew me in and kept me trusting the process. When I started asking questions, I often felt gaslighted or made to feel as if I was incapable of understanding the explanations, when in reality the explanations did not make sense to me. Looking back, I also think people should question why appointments may appear so easy to get. In my experience, availability was used to create a sense of access and importance, but over time I felt like the focus became more about continued spending than clear, evidence-based care. It is also important for people to know that she has subsequently changed her business name. Anyone interested in seeing other reviews should look up her prior business name, **Medical Nutrition Center**, and read the Google and Yelp reviews as well. I left this experience feeling taken advantage of financially and emotionally. Based on my personal experience, I would urge anyone considering this practice to be extremely careful. Get everything in writing. Ask for copies of all records and testing immediately. Ask for clear pricing before agreeing to anything. Ask whether supplements are being marked up. And most importantly, consider getting a second opinion from a licensed medical professional before spending large amounts of money on testing or supplements.
