This morning I had a car issue...so stopped by Scott's Automotive I want to say the team at Scotts were very kind and attentive to my problem. They were busy working on other vehicles and yet took time to take a look and see what my car needed as well. First, this is the second time I've brought my vehicle to them and it has popped up on carfax that they serviced the vehicle with an oil change when they didn't. I had spark plugs changed and it included an oil change that never occurred. This messes up the carfax with bad information and it's not easy to fix. When I mentioned it the first time they asked me to email them about it and acted like they had no idea how it could have happened, but the issue hasn't been fixed and continues to happen. Secondly, I paid these guys nearly $800 to diagnose and fix a cylinder misfire, but less than a week after leaving the shop and the issue is still there. Which tells me that they didn't truly diagnose what was causing it, but instead threw parts at it hoping that it would fix the issue. After I called to let them know that the check engine light came back on and was throwing the same code the answer I received was "it's probably a good idea to sell your vehicle". Are you kidding me? Them taking some responsibility for not fixing my vehicle after I gave them nearly a grand to do so seems like a more appropriate response.

Fortunately for us when we pulled off of I-35 This Car Shop was right there. They were so kind as to put our car up on the lift immediately and two mechanics looked up under our car. You could see where something had impacted our undercarriage in several spots and luckily for us, the impacts were not on any soft or moving parts, but only on hard metal. I was so thrilled and was happy to pay a bill. They would not take any money from me. Now who does that! I am most grateful for the peace of mind that we could continue on our travels without concern. If I lived in the area, I would be happy to take our cars there for service.

I've supplied the address because if you go anywhere else, you might regret it. I was on my way to the Emergency Vet as one of my dogs, Sam, was dying. It was a terrible night. I'd just entered the freeway when some idiot roared past me and cut back in front just as I saw the tire right front of me. No way to avoid. Smashed the front fender, back passenger door and back fender. Heartbroken to say that Sam died, but when I took my Mazda to Silver Lining, honestly, the name is 100% accurate, I was greeted by Lyn; friendly, caring and very professional. The advisor, Rob Gonzalez, also one of the nicest blokes I've ever met, inspected my car and assured me they'd handle everything with my insurance. Which he did. Hannah, the regional manager, couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. Over the years, I've had other cars worked on, but none were as friendly, professional and expert as these folks. And my CX5? Incredible! Looks brand new. The standard of workmanship is topnotch. Despite it being such a hard time emotionally, Silver Lining Collision truly helped me get through it.

They did such an amazing job, you would never know the vehicle had been damaged. I cannot recommend them enough.
