The Bradhurst office is more convenient so I made the mistake of booking appointments with her. In consecutive visits, she was so rough while cleaning my ears they actually bled yet she never offered an apology or word of comfort. It's nearly impossible to get through by phone and when you do, you are often met with surliness. I finally had enough and decided to go elsewhere but given my long history with this practice I needed to have my records sent to the new provider and was forced to drive to the Ardsley office to complete and sign a simple form. I asked how long the process would take - the clerk didn't look up, tossed my form in a file and said "five days." I knew right then and there they'd never be sent and I was right. More than two weeks later they had not arrived so the new office had to call and have them sent electronically. This option was never offered despite my asking. I transitioned to a Westmed provider and what a world of difference. I've been treated with courtesy and respect by everyone from the clerk to the provider. Leaving ENT Faculty Practice was a wise decision and I'm only sorry I didn't do it sooner. Avoid at all costs.

He convinced me back then to get a set of hearing aids (even though I was only in my 40s!) to help cope with a case of tinnitus in my right ear. Throughout the years, I've found Dr. Cohen to be a great professional--always kind, considerate, understanding, and knowledgable about aids and other solutions that meet my challenging needs. This was especially true when my tinnitus bloomed to full-on single-sided deafness. (I completely lost hearing in my right ear due to surgery in 2013 to remove a golf ball sized acoustic neuroma--or benign brain tumor--which also destroyed my right ear's hearing nerve.) His current office, shared with an optometrist/eye glass store, might not look like much. But it doesn't impact the type and level of service and support he provides! (In fact, I think his "low-overhead" approach probably saved me SEVERAL thousands of dollars over a mid-town audiologist's office offering the same top-end hearing aids.)
