McRee Ford denied my warranty claim on my 2024 Ford F-150 Lightning, telling me that significant paint delamination on the front bumper was caused by rock chips. That determination was wrong. I explained that this happened after only a couple thousand miles. When I went to the Ford forums, other Lightning owners had identified the exact same issue with these bumpers -- this is a known problem. I even went by 2 different paint and body shop and they both told me it was a problem with primer and paint sticking. The same day I picked up my truck from McRee, I took it to Mac Haik Ford. Their body shop manager personally inspected it and immediately identified the real issue: a primer adhesion failure -- meaning the paint never properly bonded to the bumper from the factory. He filed a warranty claim on the spot and put me in a rental while the repair is processed. McRee Ford's dismissal was not only incorrect, it was lazy. The damage pattern -- large irregular voids with the paint film visibly lifting and peeling at the edges -- is nothing like a rock chip. Any experienced body shop professional can see that. Mac Haik's manager saw it in minutes. If McRee Ford had done their job properly, this would have been resolved the first time. Instead I had to fight for what I was entitled to under warranty. I will not be returning, and I would caution anyone with a warranty issue to think carefully before trusting this dealership. [[HIGHLIGHT]]My experience with Brandon Sweeney was zero customer service.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I will never purchase another Ford from McRee

He helped us find the perfect vehicle for us and helped us find it for the right price. Austin was very nice and polite. He even walked us through all the features of our new car and the Kia app. He was never pushy and didn't waste any of our time. We really appreciate everything he did to help us out. Our finance person Billy was also very helpful. He was kind and understanding. He walked us through what everything would be and some extras we could get. He was very thorough and explained everything very simply in a way that we as the buyers could understand. He got us in at price that was reasonable and doable. In the end we walked away with everything we wanted and everything we didn't know we wanted. Thank you to Austin and Billy for being so kind. We love our Kia Sportage and we will return to Gay Family Kia when we need a new car.

They said to bring it in on Monday and to give them a couple of days, which I did. I still hadn't heard anything my Thurs and I couldn't get a return call from my advisor. I was told by a clerk that nothing had been done yet. I went to the dealership to find out the problem. They got the car in and finally gave me an estimate after I waited. The estimate to replace sensors was approved then. It took them till the next Thursday to finally get them installed after I again showed up because no call was returned. Nearly 2 weeks to get simple repairs completed. I feel like it was only completed then because I kept showing up to inquire about the status. Very poor customer service. I didn't even get a return call frim the Service Manager. Don't waste your time taking a vehicle there.

There was also some upholstery cleaning that can be taken care of in detailing. I went to the Start Toyota - they offered ~$2700. This was the first quote and we did not want to trade-in for any vehicle that they had, because we didn't find any. We did buy another vehicle and were looking to sell ours now. Did not want to go through the private selling hassle because I did not have the time or the expertise to do this here. So, I asked my mechanic for options and he mentioned me to try Carmax. I was hesitant, because a family friend mentioned that they were the lousiest in the business, but I did give a try I went to Carmax; lousiest experience in car dealership ever. They were the roughest bunch of people that I ever dealt with. They survive because of the aggressive advertising. Was given a quote that was $2000 less than what Kelley Blue Book (KBB) average quote was ($3,381-$4,276). Discouraged, I asked the salesman from whom I bought my new vehicle. He directed me to a second-hand car salesman that he knew. That person offered $3000. Life happened and two months went by before I could find time to clean the car and call the guy. In the interim, I felt that I should get more for the car, call it a gut feeling..... So I chanced upon the Signpost when driving on the Gulf Freeway for Texas Direct Auto (TDA). It was the best thing for selling this car that I did. Loved dealing with Michael Ham and Jamicia Ware. Ambience was very calming. Wait was 30 minutes. Quote was hassle-free and quick. Rate was closer to the mid-range of what KBB gave. Walked out happy. Keep up the good work, TDA!!!!!!

According to the technician, they repaired the motor mounts, transmission mounts, and the window. When we picked the van up, the window still did not work, and the noise was still there. We brought the van back, and Daniel, the service representative, then told us additional parts were needed. The window repair alone cost us $1,231.00, yet the window still does not function. We were also later told the van now needs a new transmission. My question to Daniel was simple: Why were these issues not properly diagnosed, documented, or communicated before charging us $3,542.20? Why wasn't the vehicle fully troubleshot before repairs were recommended and approved? Had we known the full extent of the problems upfront, we could have invested the $3,542.20 toward a different solution instead of paying for repairs that did not resolve the original issues. Very disappointed with the lack of communication, diagnosis, and quality control.
