They need better systems to sell cars they advertise for online consumers. How can you make an appointment for someone to test drive a car and the car is not even on the lot? There's not much more I can elaborate on a place that I can't even test out their merchandise or product. The manager tried to smooth things over, but I believe first impressions are everything. Extremely frustrating experience. Crystal told me she would provide numbers for both options, leasing vs. financing, and never followed through. I waited, gave time, and then had to be the one to follow up (which already says a lot). When I did follow up, instead of accountability or professionalism, I was met with attitude. If you don't want to do the work or communicate clearly, don't promise it in the first place. It's that simple. This is basic car-sales 101: provide the numbers so the customer can make an informed decision. Failing to do that and then giving attitude when asked about it is unacceptable. Buying a car is a major financial decision, and I left feeling disrespected and annoyed rather than helped. We showed up for an appointment and didn't realize we were at the wrong Big Star dealership. First, Chris pretended to be the person I had spoken with earlier in the day. Then the car we test drove was stuck in valet mode - he said we would have to go to a Kia dealer to fix that ourselves. Then when I balked at the $3,000 extras (GPS, sealant, etc.) he told us the car had sold to someone else during the 15 min we were talking. Terrible customer service from start to finish. I have been waiting over six weeks for a windshield replacement for my 2024 Cadillac Escalade, and now I'm being told I must wait an additional two weeks just to get a loaner car. One of the main reasons we chose to purchase this vehicle -- our third purchase from this dealership -- was because the salesperson, Lisa, assured us that loaner car availability was a guaranteed perk. BigStar Cadillac even advertises loaner car availability in their commercials when vehicles are left for service. To make matters worse, I am still waiting for a call back from Albert to even schedule my service appointment. This level of service is unacceptable, especially for loyal, returning customers. Good old bait and switch left and right with this dealer. They are currently advertising leases on Vistiqs for $849 with $1 down. Then you read the fine print. $1 down plus the $2300 in add ons they put on the car (including a GPS that no one will need thanks to Car Play and Android Auto), plus tax and title, and first month's payment. So $1 down becomes something like $8k down if not more. To continue with the bait and switches, the car I was looking at, the website says they're taking $4k off because it's a loaner. When I talked to the sales guy he said oh, it only has 60 miles on it. We can't sell it with the $4k off. It has to be at MSRP. So the website says $76k, but they're expecting people to come in and be OK paying $80k plus another $2200 in add ons most people don't want? So the $76k price on the website somehow became $82k plus. How does this place sell any cars? read more

The LACK of communication should be against the law! I went in for them to open/fix my glove box only to pick my vehicle up and my dash screen be cracked. The service dept then kept my vehicle for A Month and when I had to call to inquire about my 2024 vehicle it was as if I was bothering them. Please do not take your car here!!!!! I had some water damage and needed cleaning and another radio. It took them 3 months to complete the job. In the meantime, I never recieved updates or progress reports of any kind from my rep Isaiah. If I had to rent a car, I can't imagine what the price would've been for a 3 month rental. I spoke to the manager at the 2 month mark to see if there was anything he could do to help speed the process. The conversation ended with nothing but an excuse saying they were waiting on parts. I asked if they had any kind of update system that informs customers on work progression. I heard cricket chirps on the line. It was as if I was speaking a foreign language. I explained that it helps to relieve customer anxiety about work progression and he acted like he's never heard of any such thing. This was the MANAGER. If I would have read their customers comments before bringing my car, I would have seen how dissatisfied many of their previous customers were over the same issues I had. Too late but lesson learned. I cannot recommend this dealership to my worst enemy. My experience with them is unbelievable and disrespectful. I purchased a vehicle in July 2024 and paid in full. I have yet to receive the title 3 months later in November. I have contacted the dealership multiple times through email, phone calls. They continue to have excuses and false estimates of when my title will arrive. I have yet to see proof of title.
