They offer a lot of different kinds of yoga including aerial yoga. It's little out of comfort zone. Surely one day I'll give it a try. They do offer donation based classes throughout the week. I love Gaze. What a welcoming studio and community, a beautiful place to practice Yoga in various forms via multiple class types and formats (live stream at home!). They genuinely care, exhibiting kindness, extending grace, inclusion. The space boasts two rooms, one hot & one not. There's several restrooms, one shower, space for you to store your things, cool art, retail options, good vibes, friendly people. You can rent mats & towels for a small fee. A cooler with sparkling waters, Liquid DeathC etx are available for purchase. It's an all around win. Signing up for class is a snap via the Walla app. Membership is affordable and pricing is transparent Gaze has several community classes per week that are donation based, providing the opportunity to 1- try out Gaze, 2- contribute toward the washer/dryer fund, 3- support a new teacher who often runs said class, someone who is sharpening their teaching chops as a newly certified instructor. I've been practicing hot yoga since 2016 and have been to probably 100 studios as I travel for work. This experience had to be the 2nd worst I've ever had. I only made it through 1 class before cancelling my trial month membership. During my 1st class, heated 26 posture class the instructor publically called me out by saying "This is a sequenced class so you need to follow along". I generally follow along but every body is different, so I take what I need and leave what I don't. I needed a prayer twist and took it. That was wholly unprofessional on her part, in my 8 years practicing I've never had an instructor do that. On top of that, she was overweight and out of shape. It's a head-scratcher for me when fitness studios employ instructors who are out of shape. It's like me getting investment advice from a company that is struggling to stay in business. Finally, I couldn't stay for a full class and I was told I had to, there was no other option because the door would be locked and no staff would be present available to re-lock it. Fair point, I get it. At the same time I've had other studios allow me to leave and the instructor re-locked it. Parking was also a struggle and no locker rooms, single co-ed bathrooms that actually smell like #2. I asked for my money back and to their credit, they refunded me and we amicably parted ways which I appreciated. To be fair you may love this studio. If you're more of a hippie and hardcore liberal you'll probably love it. It wasn't my jam however and I'd HIGHLY recommend you never publically call out yogis for deviating from a pose ever again. read more

Absolutely amazing! I've been looking for a hot yoga studio and so glad I found it. It's in a very nice location too, right between Armateur Works and the Hall on Franklin. Post yoga happy hour juicing anyone? So the practice actually follows Bikram yoga sequences but they are not associated with them, which I think is better. Wes, the instructor is very knowledgeable and challenges you. The studio is uniquely decorated, and they offer EDM music practices on Fridays...how f#$_3&&& cool is that?! The worst studio and stupid policies about locking the door so you cannot leave the class

Found Gaze my first day in Tampa after moving here from Chicago and feel very lucky to have come across them so quickly. It's a fantastic place and community in all kinds of ways and they will welcome you no matter what type of yoga you are looking for, whether it's just for a casual drop in class here and there or you want to deepen your practice. Super hot yoga studio! Compact space with great design--not intimidating. The space gets hot, indeed, which is great for relaxation and preventing injuries, allowing deep stretches. I used the mind body app to review the class schedule and book. Very easy. If you are not familiar with Bikram style yoga, you can easily google the 26 postures. 60 and 90 minute classes are available--even one with music!! Wes is a great instructor. The vibe is very welcoming and non-judgemental. Mats, towels, water available at cost if you forget to bring your own. Note--the studio is one gigantic room. There are no locker rooms or showers. There are, however, bins to place your belongings beneath benches and places to hang sweaters. read more

I'm so happy I finally tried Gaze. It's a wonderful hot yoga studio. Wes is a fantastic instructor.

If you are looking for a yoga studio that teaches Bikram-esq yoga without the condescending attitudes then this is your place. Wes and the other teachers will make you feel right at home on the mat. Don't be afraid of the heat- you will be working hard but the heat is not nearly as bad as you may think. Bring a towel and maybe a change of clothes if you plan on going anywhere after. Don't forget water for before and after. There are also mats and towels to rent if needed. If you are new to hot yoga then the 1 hr class may be good for you to start. I would also highly recommend the Fascial Dynamics classes especially if you are an athlete or spend a lot of time weight training or conversely just sitting at a desk all day. I was on vacation in Tampa bay (my hometown) when a friend asked me to join her for hot yoga. I have never been to any yoga classes but have been practicing yoga via internet at home. Since it was my birthday I thought what a lovely way to enter my 55th trip around the sun. Sweat like I'm on the sun! lol First off the studio is in a cute area that hipsters have moved into. Revitalizing the area. When I arrived I was warmly greeted and told of first month deal (I was leaving in couples days) but went with one time deal. Rented mat (very clean) and towel. My friend never made it to class but I was there and paid, so go for it. The yogi was aware of my beginner status and felt he kept and eye on me. I was very impressed with the cleanness of the entire place and felt completely at ease. It was a very sweaty (I never sweat) evening but amazing! Loved loved my visit! So much I bought a Gaze yoga tee! Definitely go! read more

Fabulous new hot yoga studio in Seminole Heights. Note that parking and the entrance are "in back". It has a fabulous, minimalist, industrial feel inside. The place is clean and open. I attended their first class this morning and the owner/ instructor is fabulous. He obviously has much experience in practicing yoga. read more
