I spent the day jumping through hoops, following up on virtual consults that didn't happen when they were supposed to, waiting until every single nurse was off lunch, etc. All of that was fine because I was able to get a consult and an order for testing from my GP (who is great). I had to literally run but I got there twenty minutes early. I said hello and said who I was and that there was an order in for me to get tested. In reply the blue haired woman said "oh I know but you gotta come back tomorrow because they are closing up because we didn't know you were coming until fifteen minutes ago." Which was 35 minutes before they closed. So they closed early anyway. Why didn't you call? Can you really justify closing covid testing early during a pandemic? Why have appointments if they don't matter? I am livid that I was dumb enough to try to go through here to get this test and I should have known this would have happened. The administration is consistently unorganized, rude, and in this case awful. I like my GP (hence the two stars and not one) but I'm done with this. I go here because it's near my house and their goal is to make healthcare accessible to an underserved population (and get a lot of money from the government to do it). The staff consistently seems to interpret that as a green light to treat everyone like garbage though. I was going to wait until I didn't feel as horrible to post but my feelings won't change. I just wonder how many other people have been turned away that don't have PTO they can use, then went out and exposed a bunch of other people. Yes, I have wanted to leave work early a bunch of times and if I was in healthcare I would want to every day in this climate. I would never act on it though and this really shook me. I thought this was a place that was doing good, but I got a glimpse of what it actually was today and it was scary.

So if you had an appointment next month most likely its canceled. This is not a place I would recommend even if the so called change wasn't in place. At one point I asked about a B-12 test, because my last GP had tested for it as a routine. I was berated for asking for it and was questioned in an accusatory tone why I needed it and what was I not telling her. When I said well, I don't really know and that my GP had always tested for it, she reluctantly agreed. (Since then I understand that Vitamin absorption is a concern with my specific thyroid issues.) From here she continued to display an arrogant attitude that I just completely just wanted to get the visit over with. It was hands down, the worst Dr. visit I've had in my life. (53 years) I left with the intention of never going back. Since then I've sought out a Functional medicine NP, which I am paying out of pocket for, because I just don't think most physicians, (including my Gyno), have the time to truly ask the thoughtful questions, prescribe enough tests and do a good follow-up. I like my gyno NP, she is nice and professional (who is also with Buffalo Medical group) she just seems to be on a short time schedule.

They apologized and said they were short handed. She has been feeling better for several days, and has been told she was going home "tomorrow" for the last three days. They said they needed to run a certain scan before they would release her and apparently it took three days to do it. It is now Friday, scan was done yesterday. She thought she was getting out last evening, and then they promised her today she would go home. Now they told her insurance has not approved her home health care, and she won't be going anywhere - Monday at the soonest because insurance company won't be able to approve it until next week. This poor 41 year old has stage 4 cancer and two small children at home she hasn't seen in over a week. I've called to talk to medical director, the CEO, her doctors and left messages. No call back at all! This place has done more harm than good for all of us.

The two soups are made daily; there's a pizza bar, two salad bars, a grill, and sandwiches made to order. After hours, there's a refrigerator for grab-and-go selections.

I recently just dislocated my knee went there and waited for ever! Finally get to see the doctor who only saw me for about 4 minutes then ordered an MRI. I told them I didn't want to do it through them that I wanted to go somewhere else and they were terribly rude about it. They were supposed to fax my script over to the MRI place over a week ago and they won't fax it over. They are preventing me from receiving my MRI. I called multiple times and was sent straight to voice mail. When I finally got hold of a real person she was rude, nasty, and uncooperative. This is hands down the worst place to go for anything. They are rude and lifeless people who hate there jobs. Please don't here!!! I went to the Harlem road location save yourself the trip and go somewhere else.
