You will only ever get 4g LTE even though technically they say you could get 5G and you will pay for 5G, but you will never get it. I have submitted to the BBB and the FCC. Because after two years and hours on the phone with them and going to their stores and working with their top technical people, the only compensation they offered is $20 for 12 months. I have lost business because of this because I cannot use my phone for anything other than phone calls and texts unless I am connected to Wi-Fi. Stick with GCI. I even have screen texts from their technical people saying they would never use Verizon for the discounts, and that it's true, Verizon can only get you as high as 4G LTE in Anchorage. So their advertisements are a lie. But they use technical speak and their contract to say that they offer LTE and 5G, but you're not guaranteed the 5G only it doesn't say you're not just says it offers both. You won't get the 5G, trust me. But sure gonna pay for it. I would give them a zero star rating if I could, but unfortunately yelp doesn't allow that.

AT&T, this is beyond frustrating…read more Your posted hours online say you open at 10:00 AM. The sign on the door also says 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. I arrived here at 10:00, and now it is 11:05 and the store is still not open. What makes it worse is the phone number listed for this location is just as bad. Sometimes it automatically hangs up, other times it rings with no answer, and then hangs up again. That defeats the whole purpose of having a store number if customers cannot even reach anyone for basic information. If the store is going to be closed, delayed, or opening late, at least put a notice on the door or update the hours online so people are not wasting their time sitting outside waiting. That is basic customer service and basic respect. Even UPS just showed up and no one came to the door. They are literally leaving things outside because no one is here. This is exactly why people get frustrated with AT&T service. Bad phone support pushes people to come into the store, and then the in-store experience is just as bad. Treat your customers better. Update your hours. Respect people's time.

I went around and cleaned what they missed and wasn't even too sad about that. At this point I would've gladly given them 4 stars and maybe even 5. The part that was dumbfounding to us was they didn't clean the freezer section of the fridge. It's a combo fridge andin my other houses I've never had a deep cleaner *not* wipe down the freezer part. When I realized the freezer had been forgotten, I called to let them know and the response came back as texts. She told me we asked for the fridge to be cleaned but didn't mention the freezer. I could pick up the slack on the other things that got overlooked but due to a medical challenge I cannot clean a freezer. At the end she offered (again, via text) to send someone back (for an undisclosed price) but it's been 4 days and I've still heard nothing back. More than anything I'm disappointed because we paid a considerable amount of money and it seems no one from White Lilac cared enough to tie up loose ends. Again, I feel like the ladies did a fine job; the problem is with the way the service is run. Someone should walk through the property at the end to ensure no one forgot anything. And maybe next time someone asks to have their fridge cleaned, you can get the customer to specify about the freezer so you don't run into this problem again. By the way, just to make sure we weren't up in the night, I happened to be in a meeting the next day and all 14 ppl agreed that in their minds, cleaning a fridge that's a combo means cleaning the freezer too. I would recommend this service but with the caveats that the customer needs to be very specific about what they want cleaned and someone needs to be there to make sure everything was cleaned.

I have thought about this for a some time now- and I have been making peace with the guy I met from GCI. Since we met and tried to get to know each other, he has been mean, in my personal business and following me and accusing me of things and offering to give me a bunch of stuff all the time and then being mean and or hanging up on me and getting upset when I run into anyone- I see him be nice to people in the community and then turn around and be like this around just me and I told him I was trying to be friend and get to know each other and he apologized for getting carried away but it's constantly like that every time he goes back to his work week and blame shifting and being disrespectful and in my personal life and I am not comfortable with his statements of how crazy he can be and the way it's been since I met him. I have to do what I can to protect my home and my own privacy and I am not obligated to stay around when being treated bad. But goes and is good to everyone else and we just met- the statements he made about my personal life. I do not wish to cost anyone their work. But I am not sure what to do. Gci did a job here at the apartment complex I live at and with how he's treated me is why I haven't trusted him and how he knew anything about me. DO NOT use GCI. They lie about costs and services which results in you paying more or getting less services. Every month the bill is more confusing. They nickel and dime you to death. My landline kept going out for no apparent reason. My cable box broke and the new one is worse than before. They have multiple complaints with the BBB. Their stores are not disabled friendly. When I asked for a chair to discuss business with the clerk, a face was made and then eventually a chair was brought out. But, the counter and their computer screen is about 4-5 feet above the floor, so if you need to sit you cannot see the screen. It was very difficult to sit and have to stretch my sore neck to see the clerk. They have so many work stations. Why an't they make one where customer can sit if they need to? Also, if you sign up for AK airlines miles with GCI, (which is why I visited their store), you probably will not get them. You'll have to call several times, demanding a supervisor at some point, spend hours dealing with incompetence and being lied to. Then, maybe you might get our miles, but don't count on it. Do not count on anything to happen correctly with GCI. Just don't use them for anything. CAN I GIVE NEGATIVE ONE ZILLION STARS? read more

The GCI Kiosk Rep was coughing continuously like it was her first time smoking. Due to GCI ongoing negligence, I'm being denied Lifeline because my current service provider shared requested account info without correcting errors. When I complained in-person about errors on my account, GCI refused to take responsibility for their mistakes while I was blamed for the errors on my account. GCI, the most used internet provider in Alaska, advertises their highest internet plan as having "unlimited high speed internet." This month, we hit a high speed cap on that plan, which GCI informed us is 5 terabytes. Though this is an absurd amount of data, that doesn't sound like an unlimited plan to me haha. False advertising is not cool, guys. read more

I had them at my old place and never had a problem with them but I'm stuck with gci I'm until I leave this state.
