I've lived in OC for a majority of my life and I barely recently discovered gcs!! This place is so dope, they have all of your classic graff needs along with clothes, art, stickers, and a variety of niche accessories relative to the hobby. They even sell splicers!! The variety of mediums and shade ranges are insane, and the prices are insanely affordable for the brands they carry. I could literally spend forever in this store because there's so much fun stuff to look at. It was hard to not impulse buy everything that caught my eye. Highly recommend this beautiful small business for all your street art needs, or just somewhere interesting to check out if you're already in the SA arts district!! read more

I came here for the Santa Ana Block Party. I was looking for some open cyphers to dance the night away. Looking at the live art, big crowd, and good beats I followed the hype. Ambiance: * Parking | The closing parking is the plaza across from Yost but there were other places such as street or even garage parking * Feels | A very chill and welcoming environment. The people were approachable and sessioning with random strangers were fun as I was able to vibe from them. Products: From general apparel to street art it's pretty unique. Much appreciation to the fashionist@s for their creative designs. Customer Service: Approachable people and family friendly. Can't complain with that! Overall: 5 Stars | I love how they do everything: clothing, live events, art walks, and steezy design. Although some places in Santa Ana have become more gentrified and possibly bourgie, I enjoy the humble and local hip-hop feel of this place. It's a great family friendly place for those that are into the hip-hop culture. I'll be sure to check out this place whenever I'm in Santa Ana. My son loves their clothes, especially the hoodies. I recently purchased several items for my son's birthday. He loved them so much that I bought a couple more a few days later. The owner went out of his way to assist me with my purchases and since I work fairly close to the shop, he even personally delivered my items to me! The quality of the clothing is the best and the artwork is incredible. The shop is in a really cool area, too. Soooooo very impressed with the ease of ordering online and the lightning fast shipping speed. I ordered on a Friday and had my package on Monday (three days later!!!!!!!). Not only that but there were some stickers and goodies included in my order that they sent out complimentary. My daughter wanted to go there on a recommendation from a friend to pick up some tee shirts and spray paint. I wabte5d to buy art so I came here Wednesday at 1pm. They were closed. Store hours are 12-8. I called Friday and asked when they would be open Saturday. Came Saturday a bit after 12. Store was pitch black and closed again. I wont be supporting this kind of store, if you have posted hours you should abide by them and not waste peoples gas and time. This is no way to run a business especially since I was assured theyd be open when I came back a second time and they werent. I guess if you any to come here just call right before you go and make sure theyre open. And then dont be upset if theyre still not. read more

This is one of my favorite places of all time. They always have awesome events going on. They're located right there in downtown Santa Ana which is a really cool location. Love, love, love this store, the vibe, and what they bring to the community. They have created a space for artists and musicians to come together and do what they do best. Went in there with my friends, dope real hip-hop music gambling! Dope garb for women, guys and some kids tees! A large collection of spray cans for graph art! data to thumb threw as nicely. unwell artwork from local artist line the wall and they are reasonable priced to sell! the whole thing well laid out and clean the gentleman there at the store become very helpful and exceptional. GCS is a fucking institution in hip hop. Before everything changed in the IE, GCS helped spark a revolution in the elements. Cats from all walks of life could come in for clothes, dvds, tagging, dj, and all equipment related to hip hop. Sadly, the IE store closed but GCS remained in Santa Ana. It still remains such an institution and is the only place I tend to buy hip hop tickets from. Everyone in the store is mad knowledgable and on my FB the one battle I use as my background took place at GCS. GCS has always supported all local hip hop acts and remains a staple in growing your craft. I have always found what I needed there and they would also carry local hip hop brands. It is one of the dopest and only places to pick up new hip hop gear. read more
