Walked into Bait in Orange today like i have done many times. This time i was falsely accused of committing charge backs at the manager's friend's store in Santa Ana. I have never been to this store and still have no clue what the worker was talking about. Ive been a customer for two years and after telling him that he has the wrong guy he doubled and then tripled down that i was the fraudster that did a massive charge back. And throughout the whole interaction i never received an apology. But, It makes sense that the worker wouldn't remember who he was looking out for considering the shop always smells of weed and the employees are always high. Ive grew to love this little store over the past couple years but unfortunately after today myself and my family will no longer be going. read more

This brand is notorious for having terrible customer service. The way their customer service handles their own mistakes online is sad to say the very least. When you're a brand/business that carries other brands apparel at your store which you can purchase elsewhere, the way you handle customer transactions really makes a difference. I have had bad experiences at this store, the store in LA and SD AND on baitme.com their website. All while actually making purchases. I will not be shopping here again at any of their locations. read more

Made an order online and got requested further info on card and address. I had fumbled a few times with a couple of cards so, up to this point, they were being reasonable. Sent the proper files only to have my order cancelled afterwards for reasons related to the merchandise ordered: No Nikes shipped internationally. Which is fine by itself. But, this happened AFTER having sent delicate personal info, which was not really necessary if the order was not viable in the first place. Very unprofessional and very conspicuous. A very impersonal, faceless customer service experience as a whole. Cherry on the cake: you cannot cancel your account on their website. They got my info and I got zilch and left feeling duped. Who knew this place was here? We didn't. Only discovered it when it showed up on a list of stores that would be raffling chances to buy some special shoes that my son wanted. Picked up a cool pair of shoes here - *I probably could have found these shoes cheaper online. They also have some unique t-shirts and figures - Japanese anime / comic-con type items and collectibles. Very random selection of stuff. read more

I caught a glimpse of the social media marketing of BAIT, so I was on my way towards Orange, so I thought I would check out the shop they have in Orange. I walk up, and there's a "will be back in...." and the shop head just put "bathroom". So I waited 15 minutes, still no one.... waited 20 mins... still no one. So I ended up calling from the outside into the shop. The employee seemed like he didn't want to be there, when he opened the door. And asked me "didn't you read the sign?" I gave him the benefit of the doubt, one bad employee can't set the whole mood of the experience, but not a single word out of him, so I left so he can finish the rest of his bathroom break. I'll leave it at two stars, because I assume this store was just an outlier of what BAIT really is. read more

S/O to Dale for the great service. I called to order the Nike sock dart size 8. I was told they did not have it so I thought that was the end of it and I had to pay re-sell. However, he told me over the phone that they ran big, so a 7 would fit. This is where the service was great because most other places would've just hung up and could care less about you. So anyways, came down to the store and they did in fact run a full size big, so it fit me perfectly. Pro: great service, they care about customers, get most of the releases. First time here but I saw on fb that they were offering up 30% off select shoes and clothes and 40% off their bait shirts. It's a small shop but with a lot of clothes for sale from several different street brands. They had a good selection of recent Jordans and Nike runners in stock. I came for the red Nike sock darts. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They were informative that the sock darts run big and that I should just try a smaller size. read more

This is my go to spot for clothes and shoes, since they are tucked away in a little corner without a big sign it can be hard to find. But good things come in small packages and this place is exactly that, they have a Jordan account which means they carry alot of new jordan releases, if you need to find a pair of hard to find jordans be sure to drop by here they might still have it. Also the girl who works there is incredibly nice and very knowledgeable of the streetwear culture. The store is very small so their clothes selection is not gonna be as big as the BAIT store in diamond bar. read more

I was able to grab a reservation ticket for a pair limited edition bait x saucony collabs (details in the pic). And then roll through the following week to pick them up. Easy in and out both days. The employees were pretty chill both times. Unfortunately I was in a rush so didn't get to look around too much. They have some pretty cool colorways in asics and new balances that I want to take a better look at next time. Can't wait for their next collab and bummed that I slept on the last two. SUPER small spot. Been to their Diamond bar location and it is much smaller than I expected. Since it is smaller, they obviously have smaller selection BUT this place still has great selection of their own brand and others. Not much toys to look at compared to DB location but still super chill. The staff is the real reason why I come back. I've been in the sneaker community for a while now and it is normal for sales people to treat you like you don't exist because they're too cool to help but you don't get that here. Every time I come here I feel welcomed, they don't have problems answering my questions and they don't fuss when you ask there for a size. Only reason why I give this place is a 4 star is because they hardly have my size in shoes but I still walk away buying something because I'm always down to support local businesses that treat their customers well. read more

Cool store, but why is the guy who works here so grouchy all the time. There used to be some guys who were friendly and helpful working here a year or so ago. Now I've been in twice in the last week, and both times it is the same guy. Asked about a pair of shoes one day, and he acted like he didn't know if they were getting them in or not. The next time I went in for the raffle (that they are advertising on their Instagram page BTW), and the dude was acting like dealing with the raffle (one person coming in every so often) was torture. Seriously?!? C'mon BAIT, I'm sure you can find people that at least have some passion for the sneakers/collectible culture, rather than have Mr. Happy be the only face of your store multiple times per week. read more

First time at this shop. Definitely a lot smaller than their other locations, but still a cool little spot. Peter was the one who helped me out and seemed pretty genuine. As soon as I walked in the gentleman greeted me and happily showed me around. Though the shop was smaller than the other locations, it didn't fail to impress me with their product. One side was filled with collectors items from street fighter (which I enjoyed the most), to many other kid robot collectables. On the same side, the shop also had their own brand and many other prestigious clothing brands that you won't find at a local mall or active skate shop. On the other side, the shop had a huge section just for shoes from your regular converse to a limited release Nike basketball shoe. This shop was very well-lit and had a tremendous amount of accessories to chose from. I will definitely come back and most likely make this one of my main go-to shops! read more
