I love coming by here to look at their selection of fountain pens, inks, journaling supplies, and especially stamps! I hope they continue to add more varieties of washi tapes and stamps to their store as it's my new current obsession! Their prices are always reasonable and their workers are always super friendly. I love chatting with them whenever I visit :) Also love that they host fun learning workshop classes and events! Definitely check out their website for upcoming scheduled events if you're interested. There's a parking garage behind the corner of the street where the wall art is, which is typically free for 90 minutes I believe.

I stumbled upon this shop while walking around the small downtown and as I walked more east I questioned should I turn around? Right when I was able to this store popped in view and I had to go in! I been looking for a small compact pen case for my very few ones that i own and this was what I was looking for. ANTERIQUE BALLPOINT PEN ($13) - I love this mini pen and how it writes. The store DOES sell anterique refills BUT not the mini anterique refills that is needed for this pen. You can order the refills online on Amazon. Met Irma -owner of the place (second generation downtown biz owner) what a hoot! Turns out i ended up buying a hot Polka Dotted number for night out on the Town and a few accessories (hats,jewelry,scarves). I make it a point to go in every week to check the selection of the latest baubles and such. Now shes added a $1 table - I load up! Like the fact that shes open past 6 when all the other shops close- that way you can stop in before or after cocktails downtown.

Since it was the tail end of Lunar New Year, the selection wasn't as large as usual, but we still found beautiful áo dài that each of us loved. The store had dresses in every color and style--traditional, two-piece silky sets, and options for men and children of all ages. Sizes ranged from S, M, L to XL and 2XL, and everything we saw was great quality. The neckline and stitching were well made, and I loved the flared sleeves--so much more comfortable than the tight ones I'm used to. One thing I really appreciated is that everything is clearly priced, so there's no need to bargain like in many other Asian shops. It makes the whole shopping experience so much easier and more enjoyable. I highly recommend trying things on because every dress fits differently. There are only three fitting rooms, but each one has heels you can borrow to see your full look with the áo dài--such a thoughtful touch. If you can't find your size, definitely ask one of the helpers; they were all incredibly kind, patient, and attentive. The shop itself is small but truly has everything you need. The owner mentioned that the store is open year-round but only sells traditional dresses during the two months leading up to Lunar New Year. After the holiday, it transitions back into everyday clothing. I want to say all the Kpop bands were represented there. I like being in this store so much. I was able to buy a bunch of stickers and paper cards to create freebies and also to add to my personal collection. It's just the best place, trust me. I get all hyped up with my Kpop love for my bias (group). The place is clean, bright, and the staff is really nice. They are smiling! It's a better value to buy stuff here than the Ktown place, where individual photo cards are like $5+.
