We stopped at Gee Cee's about 7-8 years ago for gas & restroom stop but got blissfully distracted by the smell of bacon & coffee coming from the dining room. Didn't even realize we were hungry. It has been one of our favorite places to eat ever since! The food and service have always been top-notch. The dining room is clean. Coffee cups stay full. Covid has crippled them like a lot of places, but they still put out quality food (but a smaller menu, sadly). They are famous for their breakfasts, offered all day or night, but we changed our MO last night and ordered dinner. My farm-boy Hubby ordered Liver & Onions and being a city-gal, I got the Chicken Alfredo. Both were good and what we expected. BUT! We also chose a cup of clam chowder at the recommendation of our sweet waitress, Jessie. It was the BEST we've had in a long time! Next time we stop, I'm going with a bowl of clam chowder for dinner! Worst Experience with Truckstop Owner today Been driving on I5 for last 9 years and been stopping at Gee Cee's Truckstop every week and it was Good experience so far with Truckstop, Amenities and staff till I met Truckstop owner today Stopped at Fuel Aisle for 15 Mins to figure out Truck issue and been troubleshooting while getting in and out from truck while raining to figure out and it was not even that busy and i was not even blocking anyone but owner came by and said you guys stop here a lot and never fuel up and asked me to leave and never come back I tried explaining him I drive for Company and that's company Decision where to fuel not mine and told him i bought coffee and couple of sandwiches for stopping here and Everytime i stop here i always buy stuff and told him to ask the girls in front but he still asked so rudely to leave and considered it as trespassing and threaten to call law enforcement if company truck seen again and there was another fellow driver who got involved and said go back to your home and owner started laughing and it was rude I had to stop here a lot for weight Scale tickets after loading in Winlock and for Food 3 to 4 times a week and i think we have to start giving business to Space Age Truckstop at Exit 52 read more

This is the best places for breakfast in Lewis county I've tried so far. It maybe a truck stop but don't let the deter you. I ordered an off menu item, nothing crazy, a veggie omelette. Great stop along the I-5 corridor. I popped in one night on my way to Portland and now it's a regular stop for us on our way out of town. The staff is very helpful and the store is well stocked with everything you need and a few things you didn't know you needed. In addition to the usual grab and go items, there' s a sandwich bar and a restaurant on site as well. The parking/gas area is well lit and tho it is a bit secluded, you feel safe stopping in here in the middle of the night. read more

Helpful, kind, 24 hrs, and well staffed stop. My friend and I were driving back from a day trip to Seattle when we heard an awful scraping side coming from the underside of the car. After pulling over several times, we finally found GeeCee's where I asked the staff for advice on how to attach this "metal thing" back to the car so we could get back to Portland. The issue was shotty workmanship on my last oil change so the scrape shield started dragging on the ground. Ultimately, I would need to learn what a scrape shield was, how to jack up a car, and figure out how to wiggle it off OR pay a ton and wait for a tow on a Sunday. INSTEAD an employee offered to run home and get some tools to see if he could help out. He returned with a friend who enthusiastically crawled under the car to help out. The night manager was prepping for her shift and kept us company while the two men joyously got to work. I truly cannot believe how helpful and kind these folks were. The two men refused payment and just said they were having fun. The night general manager was so funny and knowledgeable. We really enjoyed hanging out with her. I will go out of my way to stop at this business anytime I'm traveling that way. Thank you all SO MUCH!!! read more

I really hesitated to give a truckstop restaurant 5 stars. However, this one is definitely worth it. Now don't start thinking it isn't fancy enough. It isn't but that has nothing to do with the food or the service. This place is located at exit 57 off I-5. It's amazing how many times we have driven by and not noticed. This time we were meeting folks we knew at a half-way point and they were very familiar with this place. Our servers were friendly and efficient. Food was fast and delicious. We enjoyed everything. Beware though if you order a pancake, order just one because it's bigger than the plate it's served on. read more

I stopped on a Saturday night about 7 pm to go in for dinner. The sign says wait to be seated so I stood there for about 20 minutes, there was a customer sitting at a table eating, a girl cooking hamburgers at the delete. Finally a girl comes to me and says the restaurant was closed. So why didn't the girl cooking the hamburgers tell me that they were closed, why didn't they have a closed sign so drivers knew it was closed? 7 pm should be a busy time for dinner. I will never go back there again. Now I go by there and they don't have many trucks there, I wonder why. Could it be because they don't treat the drivers good. Good luck in staying open read more

This truck stop holds a special place in the hearts of my In-Laws. Their family spent many years in Toledo and spent many of their special occasions at this truck stop. So when we planned a trip to Mt. St. Helen's it was a most-stop to see a small part of their childhood, especially as I've never been to a truck stop before. The interior is homey with newly refurbished booths. The staff are all friendly and my fiancee's parents even recognized our waitress from when they were teachers. The menu is typical of most diners with biscuits and gravy, waffles, pancakes, and omelettes; but given the flexibility, I would highly recommend the Gee Cee's Breakfast. In this way, you can not only change the way you like your eggs, but also choose between toast, biscuits, or pancakes; as well as, bacon, ham, burger steak, or country fried steak. If you are truly hungry, I would recommend the country fried steak which is a perfectly battered almost foot long piece of cube steak that is slathered with gravy. Towards the end of our meal we did find a hair in one of our pancakes, which was a little bit of a downer, but the staff had offered to compensate with a second pancake. I find it quite odd, not the truck stop, but somehow my car is always needing petrol around this part of town, and everytime I am either going to Portland, or leaving it.. I find myself rolling into this place. Always a pitstop for gas, and to stretch out the legs, this place is a great place if you are not needing anything fancy, but more than just regular gas station microwave food. Something out of a 90's movie, gourmet food you aren't finding, comfort food though.. that's a total different subject which this place will have. It's not classy, but it's not the dark dive that you think either. The store also has quite a few things if you decide you just need some munchies instead of some warm food.. but as you know everything is portable, and you can take it with you and back onto the road. This is also a gas station, which I usually do fill up if my car is getting thirsty, the premises, clean, and it's not some place tucked away and scary quiet, there are always people here passing through. Fuel pump says diesel 2.69 I got charged 3.32 a gallon. I brought this to the managers attention. She was extremely rude and snarky. I then asked her to call the owner Jim. Which she did and he showed up, he was also very rude. I explained to them what the issue was. Now all of a sudden I'm banned from the truck stop. Because I pointed out an error. Even though it was an error, they should still honor the price. Very rude and seems to be an angry staff. Guess I'll just quit patronizing small business. I've always liked stopping here until today. I was treated like a criminal because I forgot to put on my mask. I had just left the restaurant and got in line at the convenience store to make a purchase when the clerk, Caitlin, ordered me to put a mask on and threatened to not serve me and kick me out. This for the tire shop. I asked to have tires balanced. Young man put the first tire on the balancer it read it needed 12oz of weight. They recommended that balancing with that much weight wasn't good. Put the tire back on the truck and said "have a good day". I appreciate honesty! read more

Well at least the service is decent. The food was real good before the pandemic shutdown. But after they reopened because this Communist state of Washington finally decided it was OK, they greatly reduced their menu because the regular one would give everyone covid don't ya know! And the food isn't near as good as it used to be. I got the Salmon dinner along with a bowl of clam chowder. The chowder had very little clams in it, the crackers were old and stale. The salmon was the steak patty instead of the light and fluffy filet. I wish I was told that up front as I would've ordered something else. I could only eat a third of it because it was way too salty. The mashed potatos were chunky. That was different. Not too bad. Well at least they finally reopened their drivers lounge so us Truckers can get some form of entertainment instead of having to sit in our trucks all day bored to death. Years ago I used to stop in here and get a burrito because I thought they were so good. This morning I called in advance to see if I could get a burrito because the previous time the lady told me that she didn't have the fixings and that everything was put away but this morning the lady told me that you can get a burrito anytime that they just heat it up. So I stopped and took time out of my day to stop and get a burrito once again the lady tells me that all she has is breakfast burritos and I said well I just called they said that you make them all the time and she got mad at me for asking and when heating up the beans and rice and meat was slamming the spoon down onto the plate and just letting me know that she was not happy making the burrito.
