Great service with a smile in the restaurant and clean bathrooms. This was our first meal after arriving home from Costa Rica and we were craving some good ol fashioned home cooking after 10 days of rice, beans and plantains. Boy did they deliver. We both got the prime rib dip with fresh (and spicy!) horseradish. Those boys can cook a prime rib, ordered mine rare and they actually got it right. I would never have believed the prime rib was this good at a truck stop but it was!! Wine is not great. I would have loved a better red with the prime rib. Sides were ok. Had chowder to start which was too thick - more like a dip. People watching was fun as well :) read more

The people here are so friendly & helpful!! This is an independent truck stop that is head n shoulders above the rest! I got some really cool one-of-a-kind hats & a hoodie. I do the PDX to SEA commute fairly regularly. How I've never stopped here is beyond me. Today was my first trip and I plan to return. The burrito/deli counter is awesome and full of awesome staff. Not only was the service A+++ (they made me fresh eggs for my burrito) but the food is really good. It's all fresh and done right in front of you. I have been trucking for the past ten years up and down the I-5 corridor and always looked forward to arriving at Gee Cee's. The parking lot is huge. Hot showers and good food. So first off, this is a truck stop. Don't go there if you are looking for linen napkins and crystal. That said, it has heaps of tasty road food and is a great place to stop if you are between Portland and Seattle. The staff is friendly, the food served quickly and plenty of it. I'm a huge fan of the prime-rib french dips served on a toased roll with au jus and fresh horseradish. The carrot cake is very good - nice texture, frosting not overly sweet and well-spiced. Breakfasts are large, chicken-fried steak and eggs a staple and quite nummy. The raisin toast is full of cinnamon and raisins and smells wonderful and has a very nice crunch. The grilled ham and cheese sandwiches (can you say "comfort food"?) are salty, melty and crispy all at once. Like I said, it's a truck-stop. If the food isn't good, they'd never survive along I-5. Trust all the trucks you see and go try it. read more

Food here is pretty good for a truck stop. A lot better than what you can get at pilot anyways. I would definitely recommend the cheeseburger made fresh at the deli. A lot better than what you get at Carl's Jr for about the same price. read more

Well positioned off of I5 halfway between Portland and Seattle, this truck stop literally has it all. No it's not the newest or shiniest, but it has friendly staff, and good food whether in the restaurant or from Bigfoot burritos and subs, or from the hot case. I don't always stop here, but when I do I'm never disappointed. read more

Amazing food. We ordered an omelette with hash downs, toast and a burger and fries. They cooked my omelette perfect and the burger was juicy and well seasoned. They also didn't even skimp on the butter for my toast. The waitress was friendly too. Definitely a good place to eat. read more

They make their own bread, and you gotta try their cornbeef hash... probably the best ive ever had. Sure its a truck stop but theyve been successfully running a restaurant that satisfies the trucker appetite in all of us.... well after a long night out anyways... Usually Truck Stop + Food = Vomit, but this place is an exception. Mainly because it's a little family owned "travel center" with some delicious home cooked food inside. Oddly enough, this is some of the best BBQ I've ever had this side of the Mississippi. Their pork ribs are so flavorful and just fall off the bone and melt in your mouth. I'd definitely recommend this place if you're traveling along this stretch of I-5 just a ways south of Seattle. read more

Had heard this was a good place for breakfast & the reviews were positive so came in on a Sun morning. Unfortunately I can't comment on the food or even the coffee because we were never served. It's seat yourself, we did. Sat there approx 11-15 min while the waitress hustled by. (She appeared to be the only wait person & she was busy) was hoping for a cup of coffee but after 15 min. we escorted ourselves out. read more

It's always a toss up when you dine at a truck stop. You know the meals will be big but if they aren't good, it's a waste of time and money. I had liver and onions and you shouldn't offer this if you don't know how to cook it. They didn't. Dry as shoe leather. My husband had chicken fried steak. Even with the gravy the steak was too dry. The salad was served with brown lettuce. The baked potato was done just right and the corn on the cob was really good. Guess we should have ordered something different from the sound of the other reviews. read more

This truck stop is the bomb! We travel up to Vashon Island in WA twice a year, always making trip plans around us arriving here for breakfast. The waitress that has worked their for 20 years always knows who we are and where we sit. Nice to feel important, and remembered when away from home. read more

Wow! A gas stop returning from Oregon. Who knew this lunch stop would be the best meal of our trip. No atmosphere dining room, but the food and service make up for that! I had the best burger I've had in ages, spicy chipotle sauce was the WOW. Fabulous french fries! My husband had the open faced hot turkey sandwich. Fabulous red potato mashed potatoes that were so flavorful. It is obvious that everything was made with care. Many locals were obviously enjoying this local gem. Restaurant is great, food and staff are super. BUT the clerk in the travel store is very rude!! I purchased a seat cushion for my husband and when the one clerk rang it up it was $7.99 but sticker on it was $5.99. I pointed it out and the clerk asked the one beside her about it. She went and got a flyer and said no it's $7.99. I told her maybe they should change their stickers. She reached across in front of me and ripped the sticker off and then practically stomped back to the back where I am assuming she removed the other stickers. Wow, such wonder customer service. She was young, thin and had dyed reddish brown hair. Stay away from her! We will stop to eat there but defintely not purchase anything. We are truck drivers so we will be sure to pass this on over the cb to beware. Rip you off on the products. read more

Like the sign says, this is neither a fancy nor a ethnic themed restaurant. But it does serve well prepared American comfort food. The menu said everything on it is available 24 hours a day, so we elected to eat breakfast for lunch. My wife had the hash, I had a senior omelet. She was very pleased with her choice, and the omelet, advertised as being made with two eggs, seemed to be at least a three egg entree. Both were most satisfactory. Easy access from I-5, and lots of parking. We will return. read more
