Christian has saved my computer more than once and has been gracious, helpful, and more than accommodating. Kat gave me some free advise on the phone about my iPhone I suspected may have been hacked. It was acting fine but there was a possibility it had been compromised. She suggested I take it to my service provider and they would be able to tell if it had been hacked and they would do it for free. I tried that but got such rude service and attitude from my carrier I called Kat back and let her know that they said they don't do that. It was not Kat's fault and she was correct, most of the service locations will check your phone for viruses and hacking. That said, she was so apologetic that I had had such a rude experience that she had me bring my phone in the following morning and Christian would "work me in" around his other customers. They are both the kindest, customer caring business owners I have ever worked with. It turned out my phone is fine. No virus, no hacking. I can't say enough about the positive experiences, and great customer service we have received from a small business. Especially a business that provides a service that most of us would not understand the technical workings of. I can get where I need to go and fix the simple issues with a computer or my phone but when it gets past amateur, I need Christian and Kat. I had a problem with my computer that was a little over a year old. The screen kept flashing on and off, making it basically unusable I tried mini fixes from the Internet, but none of them worked. I always get my computer in a bind. Christian comes out, tells me what I did to it and fixes it. Sometimes he takes it to the shop, but always brings it back and helps me get it all hooked back up. As I am older, I can't lift the monster, and add that to being a compulsive Gamer, Christian is a savior. Way, way, WAY overpriced. I called about getting a bad hard drive replaced and was quoted more than twice the MSRP of the hard drive, plus $50 for labor, plus $250 to load the operating system. Loading an operating system takes like half an hour and does most of the work itself (AKA you can just walk away and it does it itself). I just looked up how to do it myself online and it was a piece of cake. This guy is a serious ripoff, even worse than Best Buy. Update: On top of that, I checked out his reviews and he totally tried to leave himself a 5 star review on Yelp. How dishonest! read more

Christian is superb in his field. My wife and I had our home desktop computer's hard drive fail and we received the dreaded blue screen of death. We took it to Geek on a Scooter in recommendation by my in-laws that said he was fair and a stand up guy to boot. Christian determined it was a bad hard drive and said he would try and recover what files he could. About 3 days later I got a call saying our computer was ready and he was able to recover about 30-40 gigs of data. We were very pleased with the speedy turn around time the excellent customer service and knowledge he was willing to share with a couple computer dummies like my wife and I. Called "geek on a scooter" to inquire about a issue my PC was experiencing. I was warned that it would be 5 days before it could be looked at. I was okay with that. I drove over to drop it off. I informed the receptionist I had spoken with a gentleman a minutes previously and I understood it would be about 5 days before you could get to it. A week went by and I did not hear from anyone so I called and left a message asking if they could give me a call to let me know how things were going. I Did not receive any call back. So here we are 2 weeks later. I called and spoke with the receptionist and was told it would be at least a couple more days before they would have the data recovered. Now obviously I'm not a computer tech but when you deal with one and they give you a time frame you would think they would be reasonably close to it. Here we are at 3 weeks and I get a call back from them to tell me that the motherboard is bad and needs replaced. I give them the go ahead and I was told it could be a week before it's fixed. 2 weeks later I call and leave a message. 3 days pass and I still do not get a call back. I call again. 2 days later I get a call and I'm informed they received the wrong motherboard and they needed to reorder. I consent and long story short 2 weeks pass without a call from them so I call them leave a message which was returned within a day only to say that they cannot fix my PC. Almost 2 MONTHS later. Way to go Geek on a Scooter! This is how word of mouth can affect your business. read more
