I received a very prompt reply and after confirming some additional details, was quoted a price. I brought my son into the store to set up the repair. We were given different routes we could go with the repair, including the option I was quoted on the phone. Turnaround took a little longer than quoted, as the part ended up being on back order. But I was called as soon as it was ready. Tablet has worked just fine ever since. I felt their pricing was fair and service was good. (I have had a cell phone screen repaired years prior at another establishment and the experience was AWFUL! So it was nice to go somewhere that produced an entirely different experience)

I took it to cpr Meridian, and they fixed my phone in 2 hours charging me half what Forge Corners did. The CPR tech said, my phone was dirty, no corrosion had been cleaned, and nothing had been touched. Hence it only took a short time to fix, ie clean up the corrosion from the water damage. The response from Forge Corners? "...that's unfortunate..." "...our policy...."

I decided to leave knowing that I wouldn't be able to return for quite some time since I'm having my back worked on in a week or so. The employer owner (I don't know which it was) apologized and as I was in my car getting ready to leave he came up and said he called the customer prior to me and they were willing to wait. Talk about going the extra mile! I don't think I have ever had that happen before. So I returned to the store got comfortable waiting for the phone and I don't think it was even five minutes before the battery was in and ready to go. It sure as heck beat the long wait at an Apple Store! Wait. Did I mention Apple store? Well, I have an old phone and have no need of a new one but the Apple store charges more than twice the price and requires you to go through a lot of machinations before they will even work on it. Not only were all my songs (6000+) still on it but my software was also updated to 12.5.7!! I was afraid that I'd have to toss my iPod Touch in the trash but iMaster saved it. The "geniuses" at Apple said that my iPod Touch was considered "vintage" and they no longer support it or carry parts for it. They did try to sell me a new iPod Touch. Second attempt at repair and my phone was returned with an erased SIM card and a weak "oops, sorry".
