Worst company ever. STAY AWAY. I had them come to my house, they had no power cords (universal) so I had to drive an hour round trip to get one. Then the guy finally got my laptop running. All in all $225! MY COMPUTER ONLY RAN FOR TWO DAYS THEN CRAPPED OUT. I let them know, I cancelled my Amex payment. They refused to make any restitution and recharged my card. While the company was a little off with the arrival schedule, Junior was amazing and solved my problem quickly. He also provided alternate solutions should issues arise again. He was friendly, intelligent, and kind - Junior himself gets 5 stars. Customer service on the other hand was not as helpful, 2 out of 5 stars there. One of the gentleman that I connected with when calling to ask a question was condescending and had me repeat myself on four separate occasions before telling me he would call right back. He proceeded to call 5 times in a row though Junior had already arrived and solved the issue. Only way I'll use Geeks on Site again is if Junior is my tech, he's an absolute gem. read more

Service operator called stating someone would call the next day @ 12:00 noon to touch base but no one ever called as promised with technician making surprise visit circa 4:00 pm catching me off guard. Service technician sent not knowledgeable in sound softwares that she failed to fix despite giving details of my problem ahead of time. Only benefit out of whole visit was determinations made but no repairs and no improvements made in software performances. Overall not impressed and disappointed with home visit and not worth $275 paid. read more

I can't answer for all the terrible reviews on this site but I will say that my experience with the local Geeks On Site team was incredibly different and by different, I mean great. The first time I called them I was able to speak to a very helpful person on the phone who answered all my questions and then schedule my at-home service. David, the tech assigned to my service call, arrived right on time; went over my issue (the scanner feature of my newly purchased copier/scanner wasn't working); and got right to work. I was able to sit next to him and ask questions about the repair process as he worked. He patiently answered my questions and ultimately told me what the issue was. (The initial set-up for the printer didn't include the installation of Adobe Acrobat.) In less than an hour and for a reasonable cost, I was all set! I would highly recommend them and will call on them again. read more

Had a service call scheduled 8am-10am. Never showed up. I called main number and they were unable to reach my technician but left him/her a message. Got a call at 12:25pm from main number stating technician had car trouble and could be there in 20 minutes. I asked if he had experienced phone trouble as well. If you truly had car trouble you would have called me. I chose not to take the appointment as I had somewhere to be at 1:30pm and had zero confidence in the professionalism of the company and its technicians at this point. read more

I have to give them three stars because the person who came to my house was knowledgeable; patient and kind but had no idea how to fix my issue, which was regarding photos that were being moved from an older photo app I was using. I ignored what I knew was coming until it was too late. I explained all of this to the intake person on the phone and they confirmed the person they send could help. Unfortunately Ricardo could not help me but he tried his darndest to do so! Again, Ricardo was not the issue. The person who said they could help me was wrong and should have told me that vs taking my money (@ 150) and wasting Ricardo's time. I assume the intake person wanted the money and really did not care if my issue was resolved or not. Will not use them again or recommend them to anyone I know. read more

Horrible horrible horrible. Long wait time to talk to customer service. Set up an appointment for tech for TV remote not working. They gave me a time window on January 30th, but waited and waited on the day with no one arriving. Called customer service and they said the tech had car trouble and couldn't make it. No apology for my wasted time, and what if I hadn't called to check! It is their responsibility to notify me that they couldn't make it! Made appointment for January 31st and when tech did not show up in specified time window I called them since no one called me to tell me what was going on, but I couldn't reach customer service. He finally showed up really late and told me the remote was no good. I asked him about another issue re: old TV and how to get YT etc on it. He recommended an ONN streaming device which I ordered; called Geeks to schedule an appt for that to be installed. Again, waiting... when I called to see why no show, they told me tech had car trouble and I should reschedule. Very upsetting. What is it with your techs and car trouble? I see it all the time in the reviews! Geeks - TIME IS MONEY! Will YOU reimburse my lost time when I could be working but am home waiting for you? Would you forgive me a service call charge if you came out here and waited for hours and I wasn't here? In any case, I did not make another appointment. If i could give 0 stars, I would. This so called tech came in and pretended to fix our computer (which we use for business) while calling "Microsoft." They asked for access to our bank accounts and eventually tried to take out money from the business account. When we got suspicious, we got a call again from "Microsoft" saying that someone tried to steal our money and wired to Thailand but how could they know? Tried to play it off. I requested service from Geeks on site to clear my desktop computer and connect it to my printer. My timeslot was between 6 and 8 PM. The technician arrived at 7:58 PM. He was there until approximately 10:30 pm and II had to be at work by 11 PM the job was not finished he did not connect my desktop computer to the printer. When I called back to see if someone could come out my options were to pay for additional time for the services that would be needed the other option was to get a subscription to lower the cost. Do not waste your time and definitely do not waste your money with the service. I'm very disappointed and will never utilize them again. read more

I would not recommend using them. They do not have a storefront, nor do they send technicians to the home unless the computer is frozen or blue screen apparently. I wanted to see if my computer was infected with a virus or malware AND I wanted them to REMOVE Google Drive because I tried repeatedly and couldn't. They said the cost was ( and I foolishly paid) $179. They also said they had a special for $99 to have one year service to fix any upcoming issues. Again, foolishly I said ok....then my bank sent me a text saying the $99 transaction was not completed and alerted me that it was deemed fraud. I watched them when they "cleaned" my computer and they ran AdRemover twice, and then tried to get me to buy MalwareBytes from them because my computer had a PUP. I declined. AND THEY DID NOT REMOVE Google Drive after assuring me they did. What a joke. read more

I experienced a significant problem with my home PC and after initial diagnosis with my service company provider under extended warranty I was informed my hard drive was bad and would need to be replaced. Prior to scheduling that service I contacted Geeks on Site to schedule an in home appointment to obtain help downloading important files to a flash drive. Geeks rep Oscar arrived at my home and quickly identified my issue as no the hard drive but a video adapter issue. Tried new video card but no resolution. Oscar then tried clearing the computer via repetitive shutdowns and on final attempt computer booted up allowing access to my desktop. Was very impressed with the professional manner and successful resolution by Oscar and would definitely rely on Geeks on Site with any future issues read more

AM and left a message changing the appointment to Sat. I called to confirm and was told it would be Sun AM. Sun. AM came and went, nobody showed up. I called and told it would be Mon. AM. What is less that zero. They charged my 87 year old mother $900 and didn't fix her problem. She called because she wasn't getting any sound out of her speakers. The tech worked on it for an hour, rudely told her he couldn't fix it and the next thing you know she gets an invoice for $900.
