We found out about Geemu Geemu through a Reddit thread while hunting for the elusive Labubu--basically the Tickle Me Elmo or Furby of today's toy scene. We called ahead to ask if they had any in stock, and to our surprise, they said yes! We expected to pull up to a toy store, but instead found ourselves at a claw machine arcade--which turned out to be an absolute dream come true for our daughter, who's obsessed with claw machines. When we walked in, the staff greeted us warmly and explained how it all works: you buy tokens, each token gets you one turn at any claw machine. Every machine has a different plushie inside, and when you win, the staff gives you a backpack to store your haul. At the end, you can either keep your prizes or trade them in for larger plushies. Each prize is worth 1 point, and bigger plushies range from 15 to 30 points. Our target--the Labubu--was 17 points, and we actually won enough to make the trade! What really made the experience so great was the staff. They were beyond helpful, super friendly, and even offered to "fluff" the plushies inside the machines to give everyone a fair shot at winning. I had such a fun time at Geemu Geemu! If you're into claw machine arcades, this place is absolutely worth checking out. The game selection is awesome--lots of variety and plenty of chances to win something cute. I spent $20 for 23 tokens and ended up leaving with 8 plushies, which honestly felt like a win. Not gonna lie though--I was working the claw a bit to make sure I actually got something So if you're thinking of letting your 6- or 8-year-old take a spin at the claw and expecting them to clean up on prizes... probably not happening. There's definitely a little skill involved. That said, the staff really makes the experience even better. Everyone was super friendly, and they'll even fluff and reposition the plushies to give you a fair shot. It doesn't guarantee a win, but it definitely helps if you know what you're doing. Very great place, has a great atmosphere and playing the crane games is a lot of fun. The staff is SUPER kind, they helped us out tremendously. They often would adjust the position of plushes to make it way more likely to win, and if we wanted to swap out for a different type of plush they were very accommodating. I would highly recommend if you bring kids, to just talk to the staff. They will absolutely make sure you get a toy or two for your visit. I walked out with about 2-3 winnings for a little over $10, which was very generous of them. We did go as a group, and each persons experience was about the same. I have seen some negative reviews here, so I will stress again that you should simply politely talk to the staff. On my visit though, the staff actually were the ones coming to us very often. went here yesterday for a little date with my significant other and i'll just say this place it awesome, the prize pool was really awesome with all the different plushies you can get, me and her spent around $50 and got like 17 plushies from the machines (along with the employee who's name i forgot to ask for hooked us up with a lot of tokens which was really cool). some machines are a little difficult than others which is expected but what i didn't expect is for the claw machines to actually be good, you can always tell the difference between good and bad/"scammy" claw machines and these ones were really nice. not to easy or to hard to get, it was at the perfect level where if you're skilled and awesome and epic like me then you'll win whole bunch. but i definitely recommend this spot, this was a super fun spot and me and my girl will definitely be returning in the near future. read more

Regular claw machines have always been difficult, expensive and not very fun. I've seen Geemu Geemu around and finally decided to stop in and was pleasantly surprised. The point and reward system are easy to understand the staff is nice and helpful and the machines give you just the right amount of challenge without taking your coins and being too difficult to get anything. You can buy the tokens at the front or through the dispenser in the store. The employees are very helpful and will rearrange them to help you win. The workers helped us win many Pokémon!
