WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. I'm 30 years old and went for my birthday with some friends last night. The staff is so inept and the equipment is so broken you can't even enjoy yourself. As an adult at an arcade my expectations were low but figured it could still be fun. Laser tag guns were so busted they don't shoot or reload or count hits. Hits didn't match the screen. My gun kept saying nice shot when I wasn't shooting. Both my friend and I were #44 on the same team and our hits weren't being counted. Our waitress got lost we had to ask for our check 5 times and we were the only ones in the restaurant. We still don't know if our card was charged. Our apps took 45 minutes. The wrong drinks were bought. We never received silverware or plates even after asking after an hour and a half. WE WERE THE ONLY ONES IN THE RESTAURANT. The outdoor aerial and water games closed at 8:40pm (place closes at 10pm). We had tried earlier but after waiting in a 30 minute line at the front of the line we gave up and figured we'd come back later. My go cart ran out of gas. The entire time we were stressed and confused by the lack of attention from staff and the broken equipment. I've never been so embarrassed to suggest a place in my life. SPEND YOUR MONEY ON LITERALLY ANYTHING ELSE. read more

I planned a work event here and first off want to shoutout Alena, she was amazing! She was very responsive and friendly, she made it easy to set up an event for 30 ppl for 4 hr attraction pass and $10 arcade. I would 100% coordinate with her again. It was a great place for a corporate event with many different options that accommodate everyone. Everything was going great but when I went to the bar with my coworkers who wanted a drink, I was halfway done with my second drink, and i'd like to say mine were not boozy. My coworker offered to buy me a drink and I said sure, the bartender (not the same as the one who originally served me) took the money and charged for the drinks. She comes back and says that she can't give me my drink until the current one is gone, so I have no option but to finish it right there. I'm then talking to my coworkers and she comes back and tells me "This will be your last drink as I am noticing some slurring in your speech. Do you have a ride home" I'm in literal shock, what did you say? I am no where near being cut off, yes I have a ride home, myself. I ask my coworkers, am I slurring, they state that i'm talking normally. I was tongue tied my whole life and got a frenectomy a few years ago to help with it but I continue to have a speech impediment as I did not go to speech therapy. I thought I was done being called out for not speaking like everyone else. Days later i'm still thinking about this and it hurts that people are still making me feel less of a person for the way I speak and enunciate. I spent almost $1,000 there for a corporate event and I got cut off for having a speech impediment, I felt humiliated in front of my coworkers, that is clear discrimination. read more

We were just here for the laser tag, but it sucked. 5/10 people in our group played with broken units. At one point, my unit just randomly switched to the other side's team. They also don't tell you who you hit the most or who hit you. It's very very basic and many of the units don't work. read more

We were invited to a birthday party for one of our nieces last night. We had not been here in a few years prior to Covid, so I was interested to to see how it was after the remodel. The banquet room seemed to be a lot nicer than before. However, the A/C was not working so it was a bit uncomfortable considering it was in the 90's outside and felt like it s was in the 80's in that room. The restaurant and bar area appeared to look a lot nicer than before. However, when my brother and I went to get s couple refreshments from the bar, the young lady must have walked but us at least three times, paying more attention to her phone (texting, FB, Instagram), and flirty with one of the patrons at the other end of the bar rather than helping us. I finally had to ask for service, and she apologized, giving the excuse that dhe was checking inventory got the event........ok. Apparently, she didn't realize we could see her phone screen. Not sure how she was the rest of the night, hopefully better, since it was a Friday night. We then proceeded outside to the go-carts, water boats, etc... The kids had a blast, and it appear to be a clean place to take the kids. We will definitely go back at a later date, hope the bar service is better at that time, and they focus more on their patrons, rather than posing on there FB of Instagram. read more

This place may be a neat spot for date ideas, but it is definitely way more geared to fsmilies as a whole. Kids with their parents are probably the best people to experience this place with. If you plan a day here, I definitely reccomend a 4-hour day pass for the attractions. You are more likely get a lot of mileage out of that than periodically sprinkling events throughout the day with breaks. With our long lines, we still managed to get a couple more attractions in to make the deal sweeter. Go karts were a fan favorite, but personally mini golf has a better pacing you can talk as you play, even though the courses were missing mechanical challenges. Lazer tag could have used some fog to add more atmosphere, and their gear malfunctioned on one of us. read more

Fun spot for a big group! We got unlimited pass which is totally worth it, you can pretty much do all the activities (besides the arcade). There was something for everyone and definitely worth checking out. There is also a small bar/restaurant. It's indoors, AC was great however the wait for tables and food took way longer than expected. 44 minutes for the table (because they were understaffed- one of the waitress had to take her lunch break) and it took about another 20 minutes for our food. Pizza was not good so I highly recommend you to skip that and try something different. Sandwiches were decent and wings were mediocre. Overall, a great place to hangout with your family or friends. read more

We walked to the designated table to get our wristband and game credit card which we weren't totally sure what to do with. Fun variety of games, including bowling and bumper cars. Another bad experience to start off my visit! After 10 years of avoiding this place, I decided to try it again. When I saw the sign employee owned since 2022, I had hoped the customer service would be better. But nothing has changed! I stood in the bowling line with no one else in line, only to be told when I made it up to the register, I can help you after I help all these other people. I asked, What people? She said, these other people who had been walking around the bowling ally. I guess they were in a magical line? Well they weren't in line! She refused to help me. I walked out shaking my head. Some other employee helped me family. We stayed and played but this is the same story every time I visit this facility! I guess they help those who pay for bowling by itself first and those with passes last. So the 4 hour pass fir attrsctions doesn't seem to be a good deal. Why? We were pretty disappointed. Took our grandson and after spending $125, weeks had to keep going to the front desk. The ko carts were not open then the boat bumpers weren't open. The said, they are on break or they will be opening soon. These were the two rides my young grandson could do. We purchased an outdoor pass and were told that the indoor activities such as bowling and laser tag were not included. We went outside and after only about an hour of our 4 hour pass we were told that there was lightning in the area(the skies were almost completely clear). We then went inside and were told that we were not able to get a refund because now our pass allowed us to go bowling even though nobody in our group wanted to as we came for the minigolf and go carts. Definitely do not buy an outdoor pass as they will just force you to go inside for no reason and then deny you a refund because magically your pass works on stuff you don't want. read more

Boondocks is such a fun place! They have so many fun activities including go-karts, bumper boats, an arcade, miniature golf, bowling, a ropes course, etc. My younger kids (2 and 5) love the arcade and miniature golf. My older kids (8 and 10) love the ropes course and could do the go karts all day. On the weekends, the lines for the go karts can get pretty long so I would get there in plenty of time to wait in line so you have time to do the other activities. You definitely want to plan at least 2-3 hours at the least to hang out. read more

Who doesn't love mini golf? Boondocks has a couple of really nice 18 hole courses, each featuring tons of fun features. Took my 3yo there, and he absolutely loved is. On the plus side, the staff, despite largely being very young, were all super professional and pleasant. The facility itself offers a ton of different activities, but we were there to sink putts, so can't really comment on the go-karts or ropes course. The only downside is that it is located right smack next to I-25, and there are cars whizzing by at 75MPH about 20 yards from the course. There is a large protective fence in place, so it didn't cause us any anxiety, just a little road noise is all. Good times! read more

My teenage nieces came to visit us at our new home in CO. My husband found Boondocks and it was such an excellent choice. We started at the restaurant and surprisingly all of our food was really good. We love our fries crisp and the salad was really fresh. The server did an excellent job, I am sad that I forgot his name as he did offer the best service we have received by far with dining out over 2 dozen times in the past week. We then headed over to play games and they offer a $30 per person for 3 hours of unlimited play. We went to the go karts multiple times and it was such a good time. We then went over to the bumper boats, which were hard to maneuver but still lots of fun. Lastly we played video games and had to cut our visit short since they closed at 10pm. We enjoyed this place so much that we returned a few days later. And my niece had left her new iPhone in one of the go karts, luckily we called her phone and the nice guy with the red hair answered. He was so nice as he remembered my niece and walked up to her to hand over the phone. What an overall Amazing experience. read more

We came here for my daughters birthday party. it was a lot of fun in the early afternoon (we arrived at 12:15pm ish) but as it got later in the day lines got MUCH longer and the second half of our unlimited wrist bands were spent waiting in lines (and on a lightning delay ). Everything was mostly clean but the bowling lane we were given hadn't been cleaned and there were two mostly full pitchers, spills on the table and a sticky menu sitting there. The game resort is awsome, but the restaurant is the VERY oposite. My girlfriend and I had TERRIBLE service. It took them 30 MINUTES to sit us down and the resturataunt was EMPTY and the workers just stood at the bar. Worst birthday party ever! We thought it would be a great idea to have our son's 11th birthday here because of the price per person for the unlimited laser tag, miniature golf, cars, and rope course. However, it was a Saturday night and everyone and the great aunt, cousins, sisters, brothers, parents, neighbors, friends, etc. we're there too. So there was literally a 35-45 minute wait for everything except miniature golf (you only have 3 hours to maximize the unlimited deal). We bought a birthday package which included our own server to help with pizza and cake cutting etc. There is just one big room with many tables at it, so there is no privacy between your gathering and that of others. The trash was overflowing in every trash canister. It took our server several minutes to get simple things like plates, cups, etc. I caught her socializing with fellow coworkers while holding someone's baby instead of seeing if there was anything else that could be done for us. Many of the workers were huddled together chatting versus cleaning their facility. The boys bathroom had soiled underwear in one of the stalls, and trash everywhere. The Women's bathroom was similar. I can honestly say we will NEVER EVER use them as a birthday party place again. read more

Wait 2 hours for a car. The employees saw me with a kid. They did not care was a lot Of wind . First time and the problem is the 16 years old boys working they don't explain anything. They dawn me freezing and with a child . After 2 hours freezing standing in the wind the teen look at me cold for 2 hours and said oh is not kids in this lane you have to go to the entrance on the right . Horrible employees they don't make connection with the people . You should have manners and hace blankets as well to show YOU CARE ABOUT OTHERS .and explain a Mother where is the entrance for kids. But probably the person in charge is in Hawaii and doesn't care about improving COSTUMER SERVICE OUTSIDE and make the kids feel Safe ! Met a group of friends here for some Sunday fun. I have to say the laser tag, race cars and ropes course are very fun. I tried to play a few of the indoor games but several were not operational, so I spent my time playing Guitar Hero. Yes, I'm a rock god! The place is really clean considering the amount of people/children running through there. The restaurant food is ok, but the bar staff are somewhat slow and don't listen very well. Twice my friend ordered a tall drink and twice she received a short drink. I did find it much faster and easier to orders drinks from the small bar on the other side of the building, closer to the bowling alley. All the young men running the track had no idea and would ride go karts instead of moving the line across. It's a great place to take your kids once a year (to keep it special). On our latest visit, we drove somewhat-slow-go-karts, played laser tag and mini-golf, and the kids did the ropes course. A good time was had by all. I like that Boondocks continues to make improvements from time to time, like the new ropes course. The kids and I dropped in for a bit of early day fun while on vacation. While we didn't have time to try some of the other activities (there's quite a bit of exciting stuff to do, so we were bummed that we couldn't), we did get the chance to play in the arcade. The space was very clean, brightly lit with a number of fun games for my kids (age 8 and 12) to play. For even the smallest token card, they were able to play for a good hour. What compelled me to write this review: As we checked out at the ticket redemption center, we worked with Bobby to trade in the tickets for the usual parting goodies. My kiddos can sometimes take a while finding the perfect trinkets. I must say, Bobby was extremely friendly, patient, and helpful as the kids picked out their items. It was the perfect way to end the short half day trip to arcades. Thanks Bobby and Boondocks! read more

Expensive for what you get. Cards for arcade games stop working and then you have to get back in the long ticket line to fix them. This happened to all four of our cards. Line for go carts is really long. Food ok. Mini golf is pretty good. Bowling looked good but we didn't do it so I can't give an accurate comment on that. Customer service good. read more
