The gentleman who came to pick up my car was a very pleasant and nice guy, extremely professional. Told me exactly what he was doing and what to expect at every step, and was so efficient and smooth with the entire process. Most tow companies I've dealt with just do the tow and as long as they get it from A to B, that's usually good enough. I don't really expect it to be a fun experience or anything. The tow man who helped me provided excellent customer service, and even went above and beyond. He was very helpful and generous with sharing recommendations and info about what shop was honest, where to get a spare tire for cheap, etc. Told me that the shop he was dropping me at doesn't try to upsell, and a lot of people get it towed there and have good experiences. Nobody likes getting towed and usually just want to get it done and over with, so I wanted to leave a review as it's difficult and rare to provide such a pleasant tow experience. Update: My most recent experience with Geer's Towing didn't meet the expectations set 5, then 2years ago. My car wouldn't start so I arranged battery service through AAA. They contacted Geer's Towing for battery service on my behalf. Response was quick. I got a call to ask all the same questions I answered for AAA about 10 minutes earlier. We discussed that a tech would be out within 10 minutes. When the tech arrived, his test result was "bad battery", so $292.00 and 15 minutes later I had a new battery. The car worked fine for a quick grocery stop about 30 minutes later. That was Tuesday. Thursday evening of the same week, my car wouldn't start. I called AAA again and the same tech came out. He reported the same "bad battery" results, but since it was 6:47pm by then, the tech told me I would have to wait until after 7:00am Friday to get help with my battery. I am stuck without a car for the night wondering why a battery that is under 48 hours old is "bad". Was the battery defective? Was it user error? Was the testing device defective? What went wrong? Lastly, what exactly does "open 24/7" mean if I have to wait for regular business hours for help? I should have known things had changed when I realized the receipt and warranty never made it to my email as promised. I called Geer's Towing Tuesday night as soon as I realized. The person who answered the phone that night at 9:00pm told me to call back during regular business hours. I guess he was unable to leave a note. read more

I reached out to them to pick up my vehicle and they said they weren't open I would have to wait for Monday because they weren't open but it clearly says Mon-Sun open 24 hours. Would like to thank the nice tow truck operator that cut me off on Kramer st in Anaheim by blowing that stop sign and deciding to cut me off, instead of opting for one of the two other lanes wide open. Yeah, along with several things I wasn't happy about, I never got a receipt from it. And why would he, he took $80 instead of the 36 he told me he was going to charge. I called AAA and they sent out the local contracted tow service which happen to be Greer towing. The driver had a lot of issues (Mike) with his compressor to start off. It was supposed to be a simple tire change but ended in getting my tire plugged. He charged me 30 bucks to plug my tire and would only accept cash as payment. when asked why he couldn't take card he then stated that it was personal. He struggled with getting my tire remounted and I had to remind him to tighten the lugnuts further down once he dropped the vehicle. He put so much pressure on my valve stem that it started leaking. It was49 degrees and this guy was pouring sweat. I was concerned he wasn't going to be able to finish the job. I called the next morning to voice my concerns to Arthur the manager and was greeted with a "what's up" instead of a more formal response. I ended up having to take my truck to get fixed elsewhere the next morning because of the leaking valve stem. read more

I called AAA to have them change out the battery for me. A great service when you don't have time to take it somewhere and it dies in your garage. Plus, if it turns out to not be the battery, they can tow it. AAA sets the price of the battery which you can look at online to make sure the company bringing it to you doesn't charge you more. This battery was actually $25 less than a similar battery I bought at NAPA last time it died. AAA told me they would be there within the hour. Lima, the technician, arrived in about 20 minutes. I live on a private road to most GPS's send people elsewhere, but after a couple of phone calls, Lima was able to find me. Lima was professional and efficient. Sadly, automakers appear to have made changing a battery more complicated these days with all the parts and required to hold it in place. Lima didn't waste any time though getting to work. After the battery was installed, he had me start the car a couple of times, then showed me the results on his meter to show everything was in good shape. The best part about it was that I went out a couple of hours later and my car started with no problems, which is the goal right? read more

I've been having issues with my battery for several months and AAA has been sending them out for support. They were very professional and courteous, but have recently been bought out by a middle eastern company, and when they came to help me I was repeatedly told I may have change the sticker on the battery to make it appear newer. Absolutely crazy. I am undergoing cancer treatment and just need to get to my Dr. appointments. I would highly suggest asking AAA to send someone else to help you. So about 11 am this morning your white pick-up truck driver was making a left turn from Miraloma to Jefferson. No signal used for oncoming traffic and was on his phone when he cut off two of us.
