Update: My most recent experience with Geer's Towing didn't meet the expectations set 5, then 2years ago. My car wouldn't start so I arranged battery service through AAA. They contacted Geer's Towing for battery service on my behalf. Response was quick. I got a call to ask all the same questions I answered for AAA about 10 minutes earlier. We discussed that a tech would be out within 10 minutes. When the tech arrived, his test result was "bad battery", so $292.00 and 15 minutes later I had a new battery. The car worked fine for a quick grocery stop about 30 minutes later. That was Tuesday. Thursday evening of the same week, my car wouldn't start. I called AAA again and the same tech came out. He reported the same "bad battery" results, but since it was 6:47pm by then, the tech told me I would have to wait until after 7:00am Friday to get help with my battery. I am stuck without a car for the night wondering why a battery that is under 48 hours old is "bad". Was the battery defective? Was it user error? Was the testing device defective? What went wrong? Lastly, what exactly does "open 24/7" mean if I have to wait for regular business hours for help? I should have known things had changed when I realized the receipt and warranty never made it to my email as promised. I called Geer's Towing Tuesday night as soon as I realized. The person who answered the phone that night at 9:00pm told me to call back during regular business hours. I guess he was unable to leave a note. read more

Would like to thank the nice tow truck operator that cut me off on Kramer st in Anaheim by blowing that stop sign and deciding to cut me off, instead of opting for one of the two other lanes wide open. And of course as I went around and passed him, he starts to yell obscenities at me. Please hope that this flat bed operator never comes to assist you. African American man, dark sunglasses. Called the towing company to report and didn't do much good. Sad thing is this company is authorized to tow for AAA. I'm glad calls to the AAA and CHP were taken more seriously. read more

My vehicle was impounded today. I reached out to them to pick up my vehicle and they said they weren't open I would have to wait for Monday because they weren't open but it clearly says Mon-Sun open 24 hours. They just trying to get whatever money they can on storage fees. False advertisement for customers need to revise business hours to stop misleading customers. PERIOD!!!! read more

Yeah, along with several things I wasn't happy about, I never got a receipt from it. And why would he, he took $80 instead of the 36 he told me he was going to charge. Of course he did not give me a receipt for that. How is that a mistake? How do you tell someone 36, and then type in 80? I called AAA and they sent out the local contracted tow service which happen to be Greer towing. The driver had a lot of issues (Mike) with his compressor to start off. It was supposed to be a simple tire change but ended in getting my tire plugged. He charged me 30 bucks to plug my tire and would only accept cash as payment. when asked why he couldn't take card he then stated that it was personal. He struggled with getting my tire remounted and I had to remind him to tighten the lugnuts further down once he dropped the vehicle. He put so much pressure on my valve stem that it started leaking. It was49 degrees and this guy was pouring sweat. I was concerned he wasn't going to be able to finish the job. I called the next morning to voice my concerns to Arthur the manager and was greeted with a "what's up" instead of a more formal response. I ended up having to take my truck to get fixed elsewhere the next morning because of the leaking valve stem. read more

Had excellent battery replacement service from our very knowledgeable technician Anthony, booked through AAA, on Sunday. Thankful he was able to confirm that our car battery was bad, it was dated 2016 afterall, and had a replacement which he installed very quickly with efficiency and precision. I called AAA to have them change out the battery for me. A great service when you don't have time to take it somewhere and it dies in your garage. Plus, if it turns out to not be the battery, they can tow it. AAA sets the price of the battery which you can look at online to make sure the company bringing it to you doesn't charge you more. This battery was actually $25 less than a similar battery I bought at NAPA last time it died. AAA told me they would be there within the hour. Lima, the technician, arrived in about 20 minutes. I live on a private road to most GPS's send people elsewhere, but after a couple of phone calls, Lima was able to find me. Lima was professional and efficient. Sadly, automakers appear to have made changing a battery more complicated these days with all the parts and required to hold it in place. Lima didn't waste any time though getting to work. After the battery was installed, he had me start the car a couple of times, then showed me the results on his meter to show everything was in good shape. The best part about it was that I went out a couple of hours later and my car started with no problems, which is the goal right? read more

I've been having issues with my battery for several months and AAA has been sending them out for support. They were very professional and courteous, but have recently been bought out by a middle eastern company, and when they came to help me I was repeatedly told I may have change the sticker on the battery to make it appear newer. Absolutely crazy. I am undergoing cancer treatment and just need to get to my Dr. appointments. I would highly suggest asking AAA to send someone else to help you. DON'T EVER TRUST THEM!!!! IF THEY TOW YOUR CAR, TAKE ALL OF YOUR BELONGINGS RIGHT AWAY!!!! This is the WORST towing company EVER!!!!! You can't even find their company on Google Maps. My friends got into an accident at night time and originally a different towing company (Pacific Towing) showed up to the crash site and was suppose to pickup the car. We were told Geer's towing took the car when we called to schedule a time to pickup the stuff from the car... We went to Geer's towing the next morning, which was less than 12 hours and stuff is MISSING. We searched through the entire car and noticed all of the missing items. We informed the employee during the shift that Samsung car chargers, Galaxy earbuds, spare change, car refresher, a pair of Gucci sunglasses, a pair of Ferragamo sunglasses and a $200 Sephora giftcard that my friend JUST received for her graduation that day were all missing. He apologized but he said he didn't know who was working at night and told us to call management. Obviously whoever towed the car at night went through the car before we even got to. The cards and receipts were NEATLY stacked and placed in the cup holder, which was originally inside the GLOVE box. There was a ChocoPie cake wrapper on the floor OUTSIDE OF THE CAR. NO ONE ever eats it and is stored in the car for emergency when someone has low blood sugar. We went back to the employee one last time to give him the car key and told him about another missing item: a fossil watch and about the eaten ChocoPie. The employee rolled is eyes and told us to call the management on Monday since they don't work on the weekend. His reaction says it all. He KNOWS one of the workers took it. He doesn't have access to security footage and doesn't know who was working night shift. My friend called on multiple occasions. The first call, the employee was giving an attitude and said we have no proof that the items were in the car and we will probably never get the items back. Then when she called again, the manager promised to send security footage of that day and it was never sent. They basically flat out ignored her calls ever since... Why didn't my friends take their belongings out of the car at the crash site? Because the accident was BAD. The car is totaled and one of them had to go to the ER. We just wanted to make sure THEY were safe and the last thing on our mind and didn't expect is the tow truck company employees would STEAL the personal belongings. People should NOT have to worry about tow truck companies STEALING from their car. DON'T EVER TRUST THIS COMPANY. TRUST ALL OF THE ONE STAR REVIEWS!!!!!! read more
