Daughter's car didn't start this morning. She was due in court as a juror. We called AAA and they sent a technician to troubleshoot the problem - he arrived within 30 minutes. His/our assessment was that it needed a mechanic's attention so he called in a tow truck. We needed a tow from a residential home on Silverado Canyon Road, which is a steep, narrow road. Our car was I would like to commend your company for the action one of your employee's displayed on a very difficult service call. On Saturday, July 11, 2026 our son had an unpleasant incident with his Jeep and required tow service. We contacted our Auto Club, they dispachted a tow truck from "Bitetto Tow & Service Center, Inc", and the driver was Joseph. Joseph arrived within an hour. We explained the situation: The location is a residential home on Silverado Canyon Road, a steep and narrow curvy road with residential homes on each side. The driveway of this home is sand, rock & gravel and extremely steep. Our son was leaving the home, at the top of the driveway and was going to give way to another vehicle. As he backed up, the car lost traction and slid a good distance down the driveway, two wheels jumped the curb that separated the driveway from the house. The jeep was sitting centered on the curb with both tires on drivers side in a ravine, and a small tree underneath the vehicle. Joseph took time to logistically try to figure things out. Several neighbors were offering opinions and suggestions and Joseph was very patient and kind in dealing with all of that on top of working through this nightmare of a call. It took a few hours but he did it! His care and compassion on taking extra effort to make sure the car, fence and house were not going to be damaged or compromised in the process. The car finally extracted and back on driveway with all four tires in tact! It was so refreshing to receive such customer service, especially in today's world, thanks to Joseph! My car stopped working and wouldn't turn on at all. I didn't know if it was an issue with my battery, alternator or starter. Robert came out and helped me. Everything was very smooth. He explained everything to me throughly, helped me out and installed a new battery in a very professional manner. Although it was raining he didn't rush anything and was not rude. Bad communication. 0 stars I was in need of a tow truck on a Wednesday at approximately 5pm. I went on my AAA app and requested a tow truck and within 5 minutes I received a called from Bitettos Tow & Service. Their dispatch provided me with an ETA of 45min to 1hr. I completely understood (it's a Wednesday at 5pm and I'm sure traffic is BAD) and began to wait. 1hr and 30min had gone by and I had received no update, so I decided to call Bitettos Tow & Service. Distpatch answered and apologized and said they would call me back to update me, distpatch said they needed to call their driver in order to provide me with a new ETA. Sure enough another 20-25min go by and still no call from Bitettos Tow & service. I was in the process of calling Bitettos Tow & Service AGAIN. But then I received a call from a different Tow Truck company saying they would be taking over. They provided me with an ETA and actually did not arrive within the provided ETA, but they kept me updated and provided me with a new ETA. Which was extremely appreciated. If Bittetos Towing & Service does not have the staff to handle the AAA service calls they shouldn't be taking them. It creates a bad experience for AAA customers and it makes Bitettos Towing & Service company look unprofessional. Would NOT RECOMMEND this tow truck company. read more

I was assigned Bitetto Tow and Service through AAA at 830 pm at night when my car had broken down with my kids. When the dispatcher called me he shared it would at least 40 minutes. I asked for them to come as soon as they could. The dispatcher became extremely rude and said he could make it take 3 hours if I like. Then he hung up on me. Awful customer service. My car broke down last night just as I got home. Booked a tow with AAA on line, the on-line message said it was 7 miles and free. When the driver arrived, he got the car on his truck, I got in the cab and he asked for my AAA card which I handed him. He called in, and handed me back my card, and told me it was "no-good" and told me he needed to swipe my wife's card. I asked why my card won't work, he told me it was because my wife called in the tow request. I told him she works in Orange, and if he needed to swipe her card, we would need to go to her office. He didn't like that suggestion and when I asked what the issue was, other than telling me to chill out, he tried to explain that that only 7 miles is free. I told him about what the AAA on-line reservation said ... We get about a mile from the repair shop, and the Bietto dispatcher called and told me the tow was actually 15 miles and told me I owed $100.00 for the additional 8 miles. After a uncomfortable discussion with Marina the dispatcher I paid the $100.00 over the phone. Once I paid her she hung up without providing a confirmation number for my payment...... I had just gotten back from my week-long vacation and found out that my car battery died when I was getting ready to go to work. I'm a AAA member and contacted them for help. Ralph from Bitetto Tow & Service arrived within minutes (I think within 10-15min of contacting AAA). I've been a AAA member for 20+ years and I think this was the fastest tow/service truck arrival I've ever had. Ralph was very friendly and informative. After testing the battery, I decided to replace the battery. My battery was about 3 years old, so even if I kept my old battery and charged it, I knew it was a matter of time before it died again. AAA batteries come with 3-year warranty which is nice. Ralph was very quick at replacing my battery and also helped clean the corrosion around the battery. I called AAA to get gas in my vehicle. They sent this towing service. The guy showed up and before he started pouring gas in my car said "did they tell you about it's gonna be 12 dollars for the gas." I have the premiere membership. I told him I've never paid 12 dollars having the premiere he said "he's been doing this a long time" and he started to pour gas in my car. He told me "he did one earlier today for 12 dollars." What this told me is the tow truck driver is a scammer. He rudely told me before I left "it's only 2 gallons. I recommend getting gas!" And I left. I quickly called AAA and filed a report. They said only the basic membership has to pay for gas, but he was gonna make me a premier member pay. Be very wary! read more

I usually only write reviews when I really loved a service and want to help promote someone's business but I just had to say something about this place so no one else goes through what I went through. Bitetto's has horribly dishonest workers and incredibly rude and unhelpful customer service. Normally when someone has issues with their car it's already a stressful and irritating time but then to have a place like Bitetto's add to your stress and cost it's really unbelievable. I'm at a loss for words because I can't believe the audacity some people have. Instead of trying to help me they turned it around and tried to make it sound like I'm the crazy one. I was looking at other reviews on here just to see what others were saying and it sounds like a lot of AAA customers have complaints about them. I think AAA needs to take them off their list because customers who are in need of help do not need an untrustworthy place like Bitetto's to come help them. It's actually a slap in the face. I do not recommend this place and urge people to look elsewhere for help with towing or other services they provide. I wish I could leave a zero Star. read more
