    Update: Terminix called after seeing my review and apologized for dropping the ball on my critter…read moresituation. They sent an inspector to my house to see how the critter got into the house in the first place. The inspector showed me other areas critters could enter my home and he too apologized for the less than stellar response. This was a great example of how to make best efforts after a customer service disaster. I hope Terminix continues to give good service and remembers to practice great customer service. Technician was a no show to remove a critter from my wall. I have an account with Terminix, for now, and I called and scheduled an appointment to have them come get the loud creature out of the wall. I rescheduled my treatment and everything to be there on time and I was home an hour before they were scheduled to show, and exhausted. When I called to confirm they were coming the rep says, we don't have you on the schedule. She asked if I had an account and sadly I do, they come once a month. Didn't help that I had an account...She said she had a tech in Pottstown, 45 minutes away, great, right? NOPE, the Tech cannot remove the critter, she is not an exterminator. Unbelievable these folks are in business with their expensive ads. What they don't tell you is you need to have a critter in your home M-F, 9 to 5 and hope they remember to come when you make an appointment. I would have been better off calling Domino's and setting a pizza out for the darn critter.

I'd been with Terminix since 2023 and up until Tues Feb 3,2026 had been very satisfied with their service. Here's where things went south and why I am no longer a customer. My regular service person Jeff White whom I adored, always calls me every quarter to schedule an appointment (which is due this month February). On Tuesday February 4th 10:30am , a Terminix person shows up at my door unannounced! Stating Jeff is out and he's helping see his clients. No one called me from this office to set an appointment. He asks if i was having any issues inside my home. Im like no but , my regular service person always comes in to check the traps and refill the bait boxes , which is why I have no issues, but Im not there to let you in to do that. He asks if he can spray around the porch (which was icy and snowy so I don't know what he accomplished) and reschedule the in house part. I say ok to the outside spray and tell him to have someone call me to reschedule for a Saturday other than 2/7/26 because I'm not available that day. Jonathan (the fill in service person) sprays ice and snow, then schedules me an appointment for Sat 2/7/26 ANYWAY despite me telling him i was unavailable. (I know this because of the 154.00 charge to my account I called the toll free number about) I call the toll free number to dispute the charge, customer service person says she'll send my complaint and refund request to the local office for them to reach out to me. No refund! No call! Customer service says refund denied because he provided service. This person DID NOT provide the service my contract is for (mice and rodents) he intentionally showed up unannounced , rescheduled my appointment for a day I wouldn't be home and charged my card to get his commission! The coward manager Jim Kirk never called, and customer service won't give you their email addresses or direct numbers for them. What business model is that, that your PAYING customers can't talk to management? Please do your research when looking for pest control. Terminix's business practices are very questionable, which is probably why the manager hides behind 800 customer service persons.
