Wouldn't recommend this insurance agency at all. Somehow a "quote" i got went up $100 because of a "unknown" driving record when i have been driving close to 20 years. They said it could be the system, would call me back on a weekday (i called in Saturday), maybe it was their system, Monday came, no call back, i had to call, asked for the person i spoke to, all of sudden she was to busy and i never received a call back. This review is long overdue (Sorry Lorena!). So, I am a huge researcher and I take my time when it comes to any service or product I purchase. I have been using Liberty for the past 5 years for my home insurance, and Farmers for my car insurance. I just purchased a brand new vehicle and wanted to make sure it was fully covered, with a great insurance company, and a great price. Geico knocked it out of the park. It was about 40% cheaper than all of the other quotes I was getting, for the same coverage. Lorena Gamble was extremely knowledgeable and super personable. I had been unhappy with my car insurance premiums with Progressive for over 3 years now. Unfortunately, like most people out there I'm sure, I procrastinated for a long time before I finally went onto Geico's website and requested a quote. I then received a phone call that afternoon from a lovely woman named Joanne who ended up becoming my sole contact at my local Geico office. She jumped through every hoop I threw at her and helped me to realize that I was, in fact, over-insured through Progressive and could EASILY save some money by lowering the coverage I had in some areas. Long story short, due to Joanne's knowledge, experience, perseverance, and genuine desire to help me, we were able to ultimately save me a TON of money. My premiums with Progressive were about $360 a month. With the EXACT same policy over at Geico, I was looking at paying LESS than HALF of that. But Joanne went a step further and tweaked the numbers here, found me a discount there, and before I knew it, my monthly premium were at $135 a month! That is $2,700 a YEAR that she alone has saved me! I was completely floored and did not believe that such a drastic amount of money could be saved, but Joanne insisted that there were no hidden costs or fees and that everything she was telling me was exactly as she presented it. It turns out that those annoying commercials on TV are spot on... 15 minutes saved me almost 63% on my car insurance! And through this entire process, Joanne was an absolute angel. If she is any sort of reflection of the team that they have built there, then they are light years beyond the competition and I can confidently say I would recommend her and them to EVERYONE I know. Like most people, I rarely go online and write a review unless I had a horrible experience. This was so far on the opposite end of the spectrum that I felt compelled to share my story. You have no idea how helpful and patient she was with me, even when I sprang some potentially bad news on her late in the process that I feared would end up sending my premiums sky high. But she somehow kept it from being anywhere near as bad as I thought it was going to be or as bad as I'm sure it could have been. After this, I want to tell everybody just how much they might be able to save by making one simple phone call or filling out one simple form online to get a quote. What's the worst that happens? It ends up being the same or more than you're already paying? That was my excuse for years... And to think that I could have saved upwards of almost $10,000 had I made this phone call 3 years ago like I SHOULD have done! So please, do not procrastinate anymore because you never know, you could be saving just as much as I did. I definitely recommend Joanne, but I am sure that any of the people that work there would be just as fantastic. If you do work with her though, please let her know that Jon says thank you a million times over once again and that she should rest easy at night knowing I am out here on the streets spreading the Geico Gospel and helping to save everybody I know a ton of money! read more

Received a quote from Geico in early December. I let them know I have an active claim with USAA still so wasn't able to start the policy till we get out car back and everything is settled with USAA. We had the projected start date of the policy for December 31st. The car was still not ready and there is still an active claim through USAA on December 30TH. So I called Geico on Dec. 30TH to have them change the policy start date to January 12th. I was charged by Geico on December 31st. After calling in to have this sorted out, the lady told me this was going to be my deposit and my policy would start on Jan 12th - and the payment that was to be drafted on the 12th was $75 more than normal payments. I wasn't told any of this when initially getting my quote through Geico. I asked to have the charge that went through on December 31st to be refunded to my account, because I don't need to be paying for two insurance policies and I had already asked for this to be dated for January 12th. Since she gave me the run around, I asked to cancel my entire policy with Geico since these red flags were being thrown immediately before even starting with Geico. I called today just to make sure everything was canceled/refunded because I didn't get a confirmation email/text. The lady on the phone yesterday said I would. On the phone with the lady today said they had a refund for $106 going back to my account. Only problem with that is it's $72 short of where the refund should be. Nickel and Dime me why don't you? The lady I spoke with today issued a full refund of $178 and cancelled my policy, also gave me a confirmation. Peace Geico! Can't get me with bad faith. read more
